Vacation rentals in Coral Bay

This is an incredible place for an incredible price! The view and the outdoor space alone really made the trip special! This place is in a great quiet location to explore the national park as well as many of the more under-appreciated beaches. Everything that we could have possibly needed during the trip was provided. Bonny even left us a few gallons of drinking water so that we had some when we arrived. Bonny is an incredible host, answered all of our questions, and provided great recommendations on where to buy food and go out to eat, best places to rent snorkeling gear, as well as things to do and see in St. John! The Airbnb is on the smaller side, there are some friendly critters that like to join you, and the power sometimes goes out, however this is a great place for people looking for an affordable place to stay with a spectacular view. You won’t find this value anywhere else on St. John!

As other reviews noted, the drive up was intimidating at first, so a jeep is a must. Kim met us in Coral Bay and we followed her up, but once we went up and down it was easy. The view of the sunrise is incredible, and it's remote enough that we didn't see another person the whole time we were there. Skinny Legs is at the bottom of the hill and we went there multiple times, Lime Out is nearby and is also a must. Most beaches are about a 15-20 minute drive; Kim had several recommendations. We'll very likely be back within the next year or so.

If you wish to feel right at home on St. John this location is definitely the spot! The views from the patio are beautiful. The house layout is wonderful. The living room and kitchen share that same amazing view as well! Spent time cooking many homemade meals in the kitchen that had great pots and pans and utensils. As for getting a great nights sleep after a full day at the beach, the beds were very comfortable. Dena the host on the island was super friendly and easy to communicate with. Would book this Airbnb again in a heartbeat! Side note found the best beach on the island to be Salt Pond Bay, which was super easy to reach from this location. Do yourself a favor and stay here!

My stay here was outstanding. The cabin/cottage was private, peaceful and offered great views of Coral Bay and the hillsides from a spacious main deck and great upper deck. The outdoor shower was a nice feature. Never had an issue with hot water, Wi-Fi or power. The neighbor down the hill was super friendly and helpful. Get a 4x4 Jeep and you can get up the driveway no problem, but if you don't , the walk up from the road to the place is not bad if you are in decent shape. It's nothing fancy, picture a basic mountain cabin where the scenery, peacefulness and vibe will calm and relax you. Short drive to some great food and beaches/hiking trails. I had an amazing vacation with this as homebase. 7th trip to SJ, first time staying out in Coral Bay but not the last. When I come back, I'll be looking to stay at Pura Vida again!

great value place to stay with everything you need! breeze is great through the whole apt, larger fridge, and walking distance to a beautiful beach with great snorkeling (and can walk right to Rams Head trail too!)

This was our first stay in St. John & the USVI for that matter so we weren't sure what to expect but after reading the reviews we decided this was the place for us. 10/10 if this is available and checks off the boxes you are looking for then book and don't look back! Everything about the unit was well thought out especially the motion lights going down the path at night. Going to bed with the chorus of animals and bugs singing was unlike anything else and we even woke up to a rainbow a few times from the deck. We wanted a quiet spot away from the busier sides of the island and Amber's spot nails it. We'd wake up go hike, snorkel, have lunch, then come back and read and unwind before dinner or cooking in the bungalow. You feel nestled away in your own private jungle but the entire island is right there still within your reach. Amber was a great host and super responsive during our entire stay which really helps you feel at ease.

Coral Heaven was truly, heaven! Located in Coral Bay which is close to some of our favorite beaches on the Island (15 minutes to Salt Pond, Lameshur Beach, Hansen Beach) and close to main attraction beaches like Trunk Bay and Cinnamon Bay. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed and had an absolutely gorgeous view, most beautiful at sunrise. If you are looking for a slower pace and a little seclusion from the touristy areas, this is a great spot. Also close to a few restaurants like the famous Skinny Legs (right down the road) and Johnny Lime. The hosts were incredibly friendly and met us live at check in. We would definitely go back!

All About the Views is the perfect tropical rainforest villa. You are truly remote with unprecedented privacy while having absolutely spectacular views. Every single inch of the villa had a purpose, from the uncovered overhang of the balcony (for stargazing) to the perfect floats in the infinity pool. Additionally, the customer service when dealing with Jared and his team was exceptional! The communication before arrival, at arrival, and during our stay was excellent and made the entire process easy. The details of the villa also made it stand out. Everything you could possibly ever want or need was there for us upon arrival. If you want to escape to the perfect private villa at the top of a thriving tropical rainforest, book with Jared and his team! It gave us a perfect honeymoon that we will never forget.
