Perfect view! Easily accessible to downtown, Grouse mountain, and walkable to restaurants in the area.

No TV or stove but was okay with microwave and hotplate provided. Everything was very clean and easy to follow directions were provided. I enjoyed sitting outside on the rear deck in early morning and at sunset. Very quiet and peaceful.

This was a fantastic experience. We loved the houseboat- very clean and spacious, well-appointed, incredible views, great location, easy walk to Lonsdale shops. I would recommend to anybody!

We had an amazing and memorable weekend on Deanna's houseboat, filled with lots of time in the water and exploring the lake. Deanna suggested we bring a tent or sleeping pads for our group of 4 guys, and that suggestion worked out perfectly. The houseboat itself was ideal, and we made great use of the paddleboards. While not the fastest boat on the lake (maybe the slowest?), we actually really enjoyed the relaxed pace of our exploring and spent plenty of time stopped to swim. Overall we loved the boat, and would highly recommend booking if you want a unique lake experience.

Karin’s place was the perfect spot for peacefulness. Really enjoyed our time there and can’t wait to come back! She is an amazing host and the floating home was wonderfully appointed!

Thank you for sharing the lovely space with us. I had visited Cowichan Bay many times in the years I lived on Vancouver Island, but never stayed there. We slept right on the water, clean quiet and private, with an amazing view of Cowichan Bay. Our host recommended the Vine restaurant, a short 2 minute walk away. Also amazing. I highly recommend staying at Danielle's place on Cowichan Bay.

Stayed here for a girls weekend. It was gorgeous. We saw seals and otters playing from the deck. Beautiful kayaking. Very responsive hosts who could not have been more helpful and friendly. The place was immaculate with nice amenities. Would absolutely recommend this place. Excited to come back.

This is the coolest air bnb ever! Such a chill spot on the water, watching the day turn to night out on the deck was truly magical. Parked in a great little community with friendly locals it felt like home away from home … but with sea legs! I can’t wait to stay again!

Was our son‘s 19th birthday and our family of four had a lovely stay. It was our first time staying on a houseboat, and we found it to be a unique experience worth doing. Evidently the ever so slight swaying of the houseboat at night put me to sleep faster than ever my wife said ha ha… Michael was an excellent host, very communicative, and the house had everything we needed. It was walking distance to groceries, restaurants etc. a fun time with the kids. Thanks, Michael.

The houseboat was fun! It was in a great location. It was very peaceful and a novelty for us to stay on a boat. Mark was very helpful after we messed up our initial ferry and helped us figure out an alternate route to get there. He was always very responsive and very helpful. We would definitely stay again if we are back in the area.

Beautiful & serene - this is the consummate Pacific Northwest stay. The houseboat had all necessary amenities needed for our stay, our only wish was to stay longer!

Cute little cottage on the water. I do wish it was warmer to so that we could’ve kayaked or paddle boarded around in. The location is great because it’s away from all the people and the city but within a 10-15 minute drive to it all. I would definitely stay here again especially when it starts Warming up outside 👍
