The hotel itself was lovely. Great pool and garden area, top floor open area was lovely for relaxing with nice views. Room was clean and comfortable. Angelika was so kind and helpful. The only issue we found was similar to a previous review. The owner is very forthcoming. He wouldn’t take no for an answer on what he wanted us to have for dinner or what he wanted us to buy from his shop. The night we arrived we had been awake for 24 hours having just climbed a mountain, (he knew this) and he proceeded to stand over us as we ate dinner then pulled up a chair and we had to ask him to leave. We didn’t feel relaxed around him and were made to feel bad declining his dinner option and for not booking a massage. It was a shame as the hotel itself was lovely and peaceful.

The accommodation was as described and shown in the pictures, which we appreaciated. The staff was the sweetest, always happy to help! We liked the breakfasts and our room with a nice view. The place is not located directly by any beach but there was a possibility to take a boat to a pool and a beach (free of charge). We got help with airport transfer as well. The only thing was that the WiFi worked exclusively in lobby and restaurant area, no chance for connection in the room. Otherwise highly recommended, thank you!

A good experience.

This property is great for Singles and Family with children, since its a total private property with a gated compound only guest are allowed to come in. Just opposite there is a nice fresh fruit juice shop, you will find different type of cuisine restaurant's within 5 to 15 mins walking distance, bakery and other daily essentials shops are very near by, beach is also within walking distance if you want to or tuk tuk is always available. Rooms are spacious and bright and very well maintained, staff is very helpful and always ready to guide and help you. Overall superb place, and very convenient. I would highly recommend this place. We booked the stay very late on the day of check in, the place was amazing and must stay and have multiple activities that can be used. Place had very thoughtful touch. But the place only had 3 bedrooms to accommodate 6 people but the description showed the place for 10 people. Other than that the stay was amazing

Nice location and having a swimming pool was great as that day it was very windy. Well communication and a great team. I recommend the place!

After a very nice stay at the beginning of my vacation, I decided to book another night for the end of my trip, to be closer to the airport. Was welcomed back with open arms, had great food, and received help with arranging transport.

We didn’t expect much from the place given we just needed a place to stay and rest before our flights. BUT it was easily one of our favourite spots, the hotel was spotlessly clean, the grounds and pool impressive! Food was delicious! Amazing value for money. But the best of all were hosts that looked after us and even babysit our toddler while we ducked out for a short walk. Thank you!

This villa is beautiful ! All the rooms are open and tastefully decorated. There are lots of windows providing nice daylight. If you need a lot of privacy, this is maybe not the villa you are looking for. The pool is great, our kids loved to play around and the animals around the house are really sweet and entertaining for kids ! Rivindu is great and did everything to make it a great stay, thank you !

Angam Villas is a very well-managed, nice and clean space and is the perfect calm hideaway in this busy city. The staff was very friendly and dedicated. We would choose it again.

Fantastic stay in this beautiful stylish hotel. Room was very clean, very spacious & very comfortable. Everywhere is beautifully furnished - the bar area is lovely & very cosy for after dinner drinks. We had dinner in the restaurant & the service & food were great. We stayed one night only at the end of our trip and were pretty tired as we had a long journey that day so we didn't venture out. However, we did notice numerous restaurants in the vicinity - within 1-2 minutes walk so plenty of choice. We were up early to head to the airport so missed breakfast, but had two lovely breakfast boxes waiting for us on checkout which was a really nice gesture. Would definitely recommend.

War ein schöner Aufenthalt im Resort. Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen, jedoch super schön. Arbeiten kann man leider dort nicht, weil das Internet dort zu schwach ist, weshalb wir leider früher abreisen mussten. Wenn man sich dort entspannen will und gleichzeitig sich wie zuhause fühlen müssen, dann ist das genau der richtige Ort. Das Personal ist unfassbar freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Alleine aus diesem Grund werden wir nochmal zu besuch kommen. Zum entspannen und runterkommen ist es genau das richtige Ziel.

Great room, with air conditioning and hot water. Large and comfortable bathroom. The room overlooks the garden, where the birds fly and the sounds of the jungle can be heard. The house is very clean. The host is an amazingly kind and sociable person who also loves to travel. Constantly treated me to all sorts of goodies. The house is located in a quiet location in a residential area, while within walking distance you can find parks, cafes, restaurants, shops and laundry’s. Also a 15-minute taxi ride is the bus station and the railway station, from which you can go anywhere in Sri Lanka. The center of Colombo is about 20-30 minutes by scooter.

Place is peaceful and perfect, it is good for group of 11 -12 person including kids. Peaceful environment, living areas for chit chat and in-house party. Approachable from nearby places. As good as pics. Care taker was good and sweet .

Ayoga und Sunjay waren wundervolle Gastgeber! Wir haben uns mehr als wohl gefühlt. Sie sind auf alle Wünsche eingegangen und waren immer super hilfsbereit! Wir würden jederzeit wieder bei ihnen übernachten. Vielen lieben Dank für alles ☺️
