My two girlfriends and I stayed here for two nights and it has the most beautiful view of Lake Michigan! We arrived later in the evening and were so thankful that our host left us with restaurant menus and recommendations, we loved the pizza. Place was clean and very well stocked with linens and even coffee and some water in the fridge. The beach is a steep staircase away (it was a bit rough, and my legs hurt, but it’s worth the trek). Also thank you sooo much for letting us use your beach chairs! We stayed on the beach from sunrise to sunset. It was magical and the views are to die for! Our only complaint would be the lack of communication that the host would be staying on site during the same weekend as us. The listing brags about a private beach and yet at one point the hosts wife appeared 15-20 feet sitting directly behind us reading a book. We felt like teenagers being watched by our mother. We decided to take a walk, and when we came back she was gone, but it was weird.

This place seriously has the most comfortable bed of any hotel/Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. If nothing else, that alone was worth the booking. But also, Christopher and Liz’s place is great. It’s spacious, centrally located in Watervliet close to lots to do, and has the charm of an older home while having the updates of something newer. It was a great home base while we were in town for a wedding. Christopher and Liz were SUPER responsive any time we needed something, and even had a bottle of wine waiting for us to enjoy when we arrived. One thing to note, their home is on the Main Street in Watervliet, which can sometimes be a bit of a pain to back out of the driveway, but if that’s the worst thing about this place, you’ll still have an awesome stay. Would highly recommend booking with them, and if we’re ever in town again, we will absolutely be staying here. Great stay for the price, and awesome hosts!

This home was one of our favorite! Was very big, no one felt crowed or uncomfortable. Lots of utensils and extra pot, pans ect. Grill was one of our favorite to use in the house and the fire place in the back! Was very well decorated and had lots of extra towels, blankets, pillows for everyone in my family! Definitely recommend!!

We loved this place. The ducks in the lake that visited frequently. The details were carefully chosen. The comfort, the stove, the spacing gave us room to move, the games created memories for us to enjoy and talk about. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Paw Paw Lake - #1 Huron - Boutique Cottage!

We loved our weekend at Angela's cottage. The cottages are cute and clean. The area that they are in is quiet and peaceful. The grounds are beautiful with a grill which we used, a picnic table near the grill, rocking chairs on the porch, a fire pit which we planned to use but didn't get to, swings which we loved, and volleyball and badminton courts. The lake is a short walk right across the street with a beautiful view depending on which cottage you stay in. The town of Coloma has lots to do including good restaurants. There are several winerys nearby with Filkens Vineyard having an unbelievable view overlooking the vineyard. If you kayak or paddle board, I would suggest driving the 3 minutes to Little Paw Paw Lake public boat launch. It was quick and easy to get to, easy to launch Kayaks, and smaller and less busier than big Paw Paw lake. All and all it was a wonderful and relaxing trip that we squeezed as much into as we could. We would love to go back when we can stay longer.

We had a great time in Coloma. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. The location on Little Paw Paw lake was perfect for family time on the water. There was plenty of things to do nearby in South Haven as well. Graham was communicative and accommodating. Definitely recommend this house for a kid-friendly and family fun trip!
