Vacation rentals with breakfast in Colares

We would like to thank Amaro and Teresa warmly for their hospitality, nothing to complain about except 1000 thanks. The accommodation is ideally located since it is a 10-minute walk from Mercês train station which allows you to reach Sintra (15 minutes by train) and Lisbon Rossio (40 minutes) allowing a serene visit to the capital without worrying about parking. It will cost you less than 6 euros per person for the return trip and there are a lot of restaurants near the accommodation. It is impeccably clean and full of thoughtful touches🙂. Amaro is really attentive and gave us valuable advice for our short stay between Sintra and Lisbon. A delicious and hearty breakfast was served to us every day in a large room dedicated to its guests where you can find everything you need to cook, it is really very well equipped. Even though we didn't have much time to enjoy it, the pool is great! See you soon and thank you very much 🙂🙂

It was formidavel minha estádia, it deals with a differentiated proposal, where the value of hospitality, cordiality with the local people is sensational. Maria went above and beyond. From the check in with thoughtful fruits left in our room, to water provided.. She exceeded all expectations. Her house is so close to the main attractions in belem. This accommodation is amazing.

Can't speak more highly of this delightful home in Sintra. Maria and John shared their private home with us and what a treat to call this cosy artistic space home for a few days. Maria prepares a substantial uncooked breakfast for you in her own dining space so that's a true B&B. Your privacy is assured and Maria is very helpful with any questions or details about Sintra. Don't hesitate to try this really lovely home in this location with nice people.

We had an amazing experience in Mary & Paul's house. They we're very hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed. The house is very charming and authentic. We enjoyed breakfast with morning sun on the terrace in front of the kitchen. If we had more time, we would have stayed for longer. Also, a great place for a large family. Surely a recommendation from us, and definitely hoping to come back another time.

This is a lovely place with lovely people. We had to make a very last minute booking request due to problems with another host’s apartment. Literally we turned up minutes after confirming the booking. Communication was immediate & very helpful. Lovely stylish large apartment in a peaceful setting. Ideal for Sintra (by car or bus). Highly recommended.

Enjoyed the stay very much. Fantastic hosts and a very nice, spacious villa, garden and swimming pool. The hosts are very attentive and polite. The place is spacious and private. Highly recommended.

Staying at Barbara’s place really made our time in Lisbon the best it could possibly be! My friend and I stayed at her place for 4 months while we studied in Lisbon and it was perfect. It is such a short walk to the santos train station, and also very close to all the best areas of Lisbon to eat, drink, shop, and have fun! The apartment itself was super clean and has everything you need:) Barbara is such a kind and warm person, she will welcome you with open arms! She is super communicative, helpful and accommodating. She gave us clear instructions to help us find the place and helped us with everything else upon arrival. She could not have been a better host, we felt so safe and at home. Overall, I would recommend Barbara’s place for a stay in Lisbon to everyone! Also, make sure to ask Barbara about her Italian restaurant for your favorite meal in Lisbon… her and her husband are as good of chefs as they are hosts!!❤️

The property was in excellent location for seeing the sites or catching a bus to locations It was very very clean. Nicely furnished and beds were sure comfortable and had lovely linens . Communication was excellent and requesting a pick up at airport was worth every cent. We had a wonderful time. Enjoy!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Muidini's place - she was very responsive and helpful from the moment we booked, answering all all of our questions promptly and proactively providing recommendations. The apartment was beautifully furnished and spotless! We had a truly memorable and enjoyable experience!

Grace was responsive and able to meet me when I could arrive at late notice. Any issues were dealt with extremely quick. Location is beautiful, close to Oeiras Parque and Poetas park. The beach is also super close and it was easy to travel to Cascais and Belém too. The apartment is everything that you need to have a comfortable stay, squeaky clean bathroom and kitchen, comfortable bed and sofas. It’s on the ground floor so nice and cool but also very secure, the windows let in a lot of light but also some nice views of the flowers. The shutters made the nights but especially the mornings comfortable and easy to sleep in. There is a small supermarket less than 1 minute walk away to stock up in the kitchen where you can cook but also there are larger supermarkets close by to drive to if you need to. I had a car and I felt like it made the most of the surrounding towns as they are all so beautiful, but you need to be a bit patient with parking there. I loved my stay and will be back soon.

We just loved staying in Helenas flat. It’s situated in a quiet street in a peaceful but interesting area, far from the tourist crowds but with only a 25 minute walk to them. Great communications with buses and trams round the corner and trains to Cascais 15 minutes away. The flat is small but perfect for two people. The kitchen is fully equipped and Helena is kind enough to provide the basics for breakfast. I would certainly choose to stay here again. Thank you Helena!

We loved our stay in the house of the sun. Very close to Avenida da Liberdade and the main attractions of Lisbon, but at the same time very quiet. We loved that they left some fruits, coffee, milk on our arrival, as well as toys, a crib and high chair for our baby. Luisa's welcome was very attentive and welcoming. It has a perfect balcony for a little afternoon sun. We recommend it to everyone.

This apartment has huge character and is full of surprises. Central to lots of activity, day and night and really accessible for public transport and easy flat walking. A huge variety of bars and restaurants, shopping and near to the promenade

Miguel was a great host and very knowledgeable and helpful. He was always there to answer any questions. Parking is very good and the apartment has everything you need even for children. I asked for two fans and Miquel bought it for us straight away… highly recommended

Highly recommended! The staff is extremely accomodating and will help you with anything from transportation to surf recommendation. The community is very welcoming, and also hosts dinners and trips for those interested. Great location for surfing and a relaxed vibe.

Worthwhile change from the standard AirBnb. It has more space and is more akin to a very upmarket bed and breakfast. Shared bathroom with one other room, not a problem and highlight was the provision of washing service for a small fee. Nice to share breakfast in a large breakfast room with other travellers. Recommended for those wanting a different AirBnb experience.

If I could give this place over five stars I would!! Justus and Allison were such welcoming hosts that I felt comfortable and at home right on day one!! Justus gave so many great advice and instructions on how to get places, and interesting things to see which I hadn’t thought of :) Not to mention all the delicious breakfast for two weeks, I felt spoiled everyday. He helped me get my uber for my way to the airport, which I’m very grateful for. They really went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable, and I felt that way. I’d go back again just because they were so fun to talk to and such lovely people! I had no worries as a female solo traveler, even the area felt comfortable to walk around at late hours. Just be prepared for a few stairs every night, but they weren’t that difficult. I’d recommend this place to everyone, being right by the metro you can explore all of Lisbon easily :)

My husband and I absolutely loved this stay, and hope to be back soon. The room was clean, beautifully decorated with big windows and a gorgeous view. The staff were friendly and approachable, and very accommodating of our extra requests. Every detail of this place was thoughtfully made right down to the continental breakfast. Carole and her husband were the best hosts we've had in a long time!🥰 Carole's space exceeds your expectations, it's a truly luxurious environment! The garden around where we can walk and admire as if we were in a classic film!🥰 The room and private SPA are magnificent and you have total freedom and privacy! The decoration of the room and everything around it is stunning. And it's all thanks to the hands of Carole and her husband! The breakfast in the garden is something that matches the level of everything I described above, there are so many options and everything was so delicious! Thank you guys for providing this amazing experience!🥰🙏

This is a 4 stars hotel experience for the price of a 2.5 stars hotel stay. The room is very spacious and the floor is cut in an way that has all the bathrooms, kitchen, balconies etc feel like they're yours. The kitchen and dining area is much larger than what I expected and there's a balcony everywhere you turn lastly Hannah who works here is an amazing person as well as Manuel with whom both I had lovely conversations. Just great experience and I'll be definitely coming back if I'm in Lisbon next time.

Thanks to the hospitality of Isabel, Carlos, Kevin and David you will feel at home. The house is fully pet-friendly and has a huge garden where your pets can have fun and play. In addition, the house has a perfect location to get around the area (Lisbon 40 minutes, Peniche 20 minutes away, Óbidos 20 minutes away...) Thanks for making us enjoy a great stay, we'll be back soon!
