I stayed in this charming one-bedroom Fitzroy house while visiting my daughter and found it a lovely, well-located base. The bright downstairs area had a large back window and a small patio — perfect for nice weather. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked, even with milk for tea, and all linens and essentials were provided. The airy loft bedroom was comfortable and mostly quiet. The host was excellent — quick to respond and helpful with local tips. One caveat: there was active construction on both sides of the house. While not constant, some days included noise from heavy equipment and hammering, which might matter if you’re home during the day. Otherwise, a great stay just two blocks from the tram and easy walking distance to everything Fitzroy offers.

Great spot, pretty quiet. Easy access to Melbourne CBD and surrounds. Bed was comfy. Would be happy to stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was beautiful, very peaceful and quiet while also being close to transport and shops/restaurants. We really enjoyed the fireplace and spa tub. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Naomi was a great host and communicator.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this Airbnb in Melbourne! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was super cozy, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the living area was the perfect spot to relax after exploring the city. The location was ideal — close to public transport, cafes, restaurants, and some fantastic local spots. It made getting around Melbourne a breeze. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, which made us feel right at home. Our host was incredibly kind and responsive, offering great local recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. Cathy's place was warm, clean, quiet and comfortable. She had taken the trouble is make sure we had what we needed for a stay of a few days. The location was great as it was close to shops, parks and public transport. Entry and access were easy and Cathy sent detailed information. I would definitely want to return.

This property was perfect for our stay in Melbourne and in very close proximity to family. The location offered amazing cafe/dining options with trams at our doorstep. The apartment was well furnished and generously equipped. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Cathie and Michael’s for three nights. The apartment is situated close to cafes, restaurants and shops, with a tram stop not too far away. The apartment was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Even though we went in winter, we still made use of the spacious verandah. It’s one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in, we would definitely stay again.

Highly recommended. A very well appointed, clean, light filled, spacious studio apartment in a great location. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby and the tram outside. Most nearby street parking islimited to 2 hrs, but I found free all day parking in Beith St, just off Albert St (a 5 min walk).

The location was central and convenient, with easy access to public transport, making it a great base for exploring the area. This is a great place, great location, very clean. Relaxing view, pool, spa and sauna. Would definitely recommend to others.

Sheryl is the best host I have dealt with this far. She replies to you within minutes which I have found other hosts can take up to 6-7 hours to reply. Her place was the cleanest I’ve stayed at this far. To sum it up there’s nothing I could complain about at all. The property was great actually the outdoor area was better and bigger than it looked in the pics. Great place with a great host.

The unit is in a fantastic position, ultra quiet and close to all you need to do in Melbourne without the hustle and bustle of staying in the CBD. I’m glad to have stayed at Aster’s place once again—this time at a different listing. The location was incredibly convenient, situated right opposite Southern Cross Station, which made getting to and from the airport a breeze. With trams just around the corner, exploring the city was easy and accessible. It was a smooth and pleasant stay overall, and I’ll happily choose Aster’s place again the next time I’m in Melbourne.
