Alec and Anna were exceptionally gracious hosts and provided much insight to the area and things to do. They treated me like family. My experience was amazing in every way.

And the electric blanket was a blessing.” - says mum If you’re looking for a comfortable resting place with tasteful decor, luxurious & unique additions like a towel warmer rack, homemade jams, Netflix on tv, extra pillows & cushions, actually nice smelling bathroom products, a cookie jar & coffee machine, fruit from the garden if you’re lucky, filtered spring water every day, and a little lovely breakfast bar, look no further than Janey’s place. So many extras I hadn’t expected, Janey went above and beyond to accommodate my mum and myself with such warmth & kindness. Oh did I mention the water view from the rooms? Spectacular. We stayed 4 nights and loved coming back to being able to have dinner at home, even with a kitchenette, some extra cooking appliances from Janey helped, she was just so thoughtful! Thank you Janey, you made our trip with your hospitality. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place. Hosts very kindly moved out booking due to a medical event. The place was perfect with a swim each morning and a walk up the mount. Will defiantly stay again.

Julie and Menno's place is super clean and super accurate to the description. Amenities listed are amenities you get. Everything is there. Coffee pods, heater, massive TV with netflix. Near enough to town but not too close hence you get a bit of quiet and serenity. Instructions are very clear. The welcome snack is a cute little bonus! Very attentive hosts, and they're always quick to respond to comms as well. 11/10 - would totally stay here again!

A lovely comfortable apartment that had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Very clean & tidy and the beds comfortable. Great location, walkable to the beach, hot pools and great food. Would definitely stay again.

Immaculate, fresh and welcoming apartment completely kitted out with more than you would need for convenience - loved the little 'extra' touches throughout especially the way it is perfectly equipped for families with young ones!

Loved our stay!! Kerry and David are lovely hosts and very helpful. Super cozy and looked exactly like the photos. Had everything we needed and we felt right at home; especially with the welcome board and snacks :) My nephew really enjoyed the toys and games too. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Well what can we say?! AMAZING! ❤️Antony & Yolanda’s house is simply BEAUTIFUL! The location is fantastic, a 2 min walk to the local supermarket/restaurants/bars & eateries. The beach also only a 2 min walk. We attended the Dawn Parade and it was such a luxury not having to worry about parking, everything really is on your doorstep. The house itself is lovely and spacious yet felt so cosy and homely. The hosts have put a LOT of thought and effort in to making you feel at home (and we did)! ❤️ From the cosy plush blankets, to the ping pong table (which was so much fun), everything was just magic! From our family to yours Y & A, a huge thank you! 😘❤️

Mark was an amazing host! This vacation home was spotless and would be great for large and small families. Our family appreciated his thoughtfulness in leaving us muesli squares at check in and then the next morning homemade bread which we enjoyed with our breakfast. His home is close to many attractions in Rotorua that made it super easy to enjoy them and be back to relax quickly. Would highly recommend his home to other travelers headed for a holiday in Rotorua. We loved our stay there.

Great place for our family vacation. Kids LOVED the trampoline and playground. Only thing that was an issue was the sloping ceilings in the upstairs bedrooms - tall folks need to watch out for their head. Otherwise we loved the hospitality. Had snacks laid out for us , and just went the extra mile for us. Highly recommend this for families.

Char was very communicative and easy to deal with. We were in town for a funeral and had exactly the number of beds we needed: three double bedrooms and a twin. The house itself is beautiful—elegantly laid out, functional, and high quality. There's a nice yard where the little one could run around, and a lovely deck to sit on with a glass of wine. All in all, a really nice experience. We'd definitely want to stay here again.

Great place to stay with our family. Place was bigger than we expected. Clean, tidy. Everything we needed was there. Host was so lovely. Fully fence yard which gave us peace of mind w our kids! Bonus for people who are into low tox living - amongst the black plastic and teflon, there were some wooden utensils, a carbon pan and wooden chopping boards. No eco cleaning products, but as we travel w small size cleaning products anyway, we felt like the cooking tools were a win!

My family and I really enjoyed staying at Ricky & Kylie's place. This home was an ideal base to explore Rotorua from, and also to curl up on the couch when the rain was out of hand. We stayed for two nights, and if anything it'd have been nice to book for an extra day or three to thoroughly explore the area and to make use of the kayaks & the other amenities. Definite recommend.

We enjoyed our stay. Affordable accommodation in the heart of the Mount. Sienna was very accommodating.

We absolutely loved our stay!!! The apartment itself is so spacious, beautifully decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and the shower water pressure was great. The location was close to everything- we walked everywhere the weekend. Will most definitely be back - this is the perfect place for a weekend in the Mount!

I really recommend staying at Barb's place, it's got everything you would need for a short or longer stay. There's lots to do in the area and Barb gave some great recommendations and helpful information. As a host Barb is the best I've ever had, fast response time, friendly and very helpful, she really goes above and beyond!

The apartment was perfect. Good underground parking. Close to the venue we were attending. Just a couple of minutes walk to the city centre and restaurants. Very quiet. Arihia and Char were excellent hosts.

We had an amazing four night stay here. The apartment was excellently furnished, the location effectively on the lakefront was fantastic and the outlook across the lake to Mount Tarawera was beautiful. We could not have wished for more. Thank you Murray for being such a great host

Perfect place for a week in the Mount! Close to the beach and a short walk to the main shops/restaurants

We had a very nice time in a very vibrant part of town a little noisy but fun, it is an apartment so not all rooms have windows and our host was fun and very friendly

Excellent location. Close to everything. Clean and tidy, well lived in, apartment. Very small 2nd bedroom (office size) straight off the lounge. Perfect for us though, we enjoyed our stay. Brooke was a great- excellent comms.
