What a great getaway! Our son experienced his first time fishing (and catching!) and what a great place to make those memories. It was a quick hour drive to Noahs Ark. The hot tub was squeaky clean and the sunrises and sunsets were spectacular.

This place was fantastic for our small group’s trip to Louisville! It’s one of those places that is apart of the trip, somewhere you look forward to being back at, and not just a place to crash at the end of the day. There’s so much to do here, big props to Rachel and her co-hosts for creating such a great place to stay, would definitely stay here again!

Wow! An amazing cabin in a beautiful setting. Rustic luxury. We can't wait to book a return visit. The cabin was beautifully decorated with a high attention to detail. The hosts were accommodating, and communicated clearly.

We loved staying at Jennifer’s beautiful cabin! It was perfect for the mother /daughter get away with my aunts and cousins. The cabin was BEAUTIFUL and we could tell she put a lot of ideas and thoughts into the details. The pool was amazing and relaxing. I needed recommendations for a dinner reservation and she was so helpful. There was a storm during our stay and she was quick to give up text updates on the weather and the brief power outage we had. We are already trying to pick a date for our next stay in 2026! Thank you Jennifer - we are in love with your property!

“If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine”…The Ripple Inn was an awesome cabin with a lot of the amenities of home. That comes in handy when traveling with a little one. Upon arrival check in was super easy, the place was clean, and the hot tub was ready for use. Cell service was spotty but wifi solved that problem. Gas and charcoal grills for outdoor cooking options. Great view pretty much surrounding the property. Host was responsive and very descriptive with directions, check in/out instructions, as well as with suggestions of things to do locally. “Reach out your hand, if your cup be empty” and fill it with some of the sweet nectar being made at one of the near by distilleries.

This property made the weekend with our large group special. We had clear instructions and quick responses to questions. We created memories that will last a lifetime and we couldn't have asked for a better spot!

I'm not sure where to even start! This was a little slice of Heaven on Earth! The land/views are STUNNING. There are so many activities on the property- walking the trails, kayaking/canoeing in the "creek" (looked more like a river to me), pedal boat and/or swim in the pond, volleyball, fire pit for dinner/smores, or, my favorite, relax on the front porch and take in the beautiful views. We were so excited to be able to take our 2 dogs. They had a blast as well! So much room for them to run and they enjoyed the water! The cabin was the cutest! Very cozy, yet, plenty of room for our family of 5. I'm already looking forward to our next stay!

The cabin was just like the description. It was very clean and it felt just like home. It was so peaceful and quiet. I had a very nice stay with my family.

Super clean cabin. Host was very responsive. Wonderfully private and quiet setting. Kitchen was fully stocked with the cooking appliances we needed. We had our 16 month old grandson with us and really appreciated having a high chair, portacrib and baby gate on site so we didn’t have to haul those items. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this Airbnb again!

We had an amazing stay here. There were a few issues in the beginning but they were responsive and resolved it all so we could enjoy our weekend. The views are amazing and it was so peaceful.

Tina and Wendell (I think was his name ) . Amazing amazing people . Really enjoyed having them around to talk . Horse shoe pits are amazing . The fire pit amazing . Even the cats were friendly and loving . So peaceful . Tina gave us jar of sauce for our dinner . Would love to come back for visit . Thanks for having us .

This cabin was absolutely beautiful. It’s definitely very private and far away from stores & restaurants so plan accordingly. We only stayed one night but were so sad to leave. The beds were probably the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in & all of them were the same great quality. We let the neighbors use the fire-pit, but there was a smaller heater on the porch that was great to pull chairs & hang out by. Everything about this place was perfect!

Loved the cabin! All the needed amenities and more. Owner was near if needed but did not impede on our privacy. Hopefully we will visit again!!

We had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin in Madison, Indiana! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully prepared. The peaceful setting was exactly what we needed—a perfect balance of seclusion and convenience, with downtown Madison just a short drive away!

Dominique’s cabin is amazing! Peaceful surroundings. We booked for the Kentucky Derby and could not have been more happy with the place. Only wish I could have spent more time there. Will definitely try to make it back up in the winter to use the fireplace. She is the most gracious host I’ve ever had. Even had fresh flowers waiting on the table for us. Couldn’t have asked for a better host!

This place is immaculate. One of the best Airbnb's we have ever stayed in. The design of the home is beautiful and truly feels like your in nature. Top notch in every respect. Couldn't believe it was just nestled in the woods. Fire pit and outdoor shower were amazing amenities. Theater in basement was a nice touch as I got the watch the Pacers play Game 1 of the NBA Finals! Bed were comfortable and the entire home was spotless. The bathrooms may be some of the nicest parts of the home. Every attention to detail was made here and it shows.

Angela’s place was the perfect getaway, and just what we were hoping for! It was a great location between the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum and so peaceful! We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the river/boats. My kiddos favorite part was when Smokey and Bandit would come visit us on the porch. They were very friendly, sweet cats. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable! We would definitely recommend, and hope to be back someday!

Exceptionally clean! Big kitchen and great porches for sitting outside. Plus it's very private, quiet, and relaxing, great place to hang out in the evening. Close to everything - we did the architecture tours in Columbus and some hiking/exploring in the state park. My only note is that all three of the beds had very, very soft foam-style mattresses. The other reviews mentioned those, and we weren't concerned since we can sleep on anything. However, these beds are extra squishy. We were fine for two nights, but couldn't have handled more than that. Some folks will love them, but be aware if you don't like a super soft mattress. Overall, would absolutely recommend.

What a wonderful property! The historic house was beautiful. The house is spacious, clean and just great for all ages. The grounds are beautiful. Lots to do outside! Not one, but three play sets for the kids! Yard games for the adults. Lots of wood for a campfire! Tim & his wife are very friendly, kind caring folks! They have put a lot of thought into the amenities of this rental. We all had a great time & will definitely return!!

Bourbon Coop is an amazing place to stay. Peaceful and quiet, very country atmosphere, amazing views. Animals were a blast. Highly recommended...

Our one night stay in the Chicory Cabin at the Highgrounds was wonderful. The cabin was clean, cozy, and just the right size for my wife and I. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch overlooking the beautiful views. We would definitely visit again. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in the beautiful countryside of central Kentucky.
