loved the location, very well kept older home, quick and easy access to Annapolis. Great living space/sitting areas. we'll stocked kitchen. best air bnb on first week of our vacation!

We stayed for three nights at this beautiful, almost brandnew home and liked it a lot. Everything was crystal clean, very cozy and quiet at night and day. The kitchen is very well equipped so we were able to prepare nice breakfasts and dinners. The bedroom and bathroom are both very spaceous as is the living room. The host Karina was absolutely friendly and also her dad, who was our neighbor. Karina prepared a very lovely welcome package with some treats – really really kind. Thank you for having us. We would come back anytime.

Every step of the way - John was a a great communicator, making sure we had all the information we needed for our visit and the surrounding area. His cozy get away, is surrounded by beautiful nature, very private and yet only 10 minutes from the town of Annapolis Royal with all the amenities. The open fireplace, with lots of DRY wood and kindling was a bonus as the weather was stormy during our visit. John also checked in with us a few times to make sure we could get in and out of the driveway during the storm. 2 lovely balconies would be perfect in the summer for sitting out and looking into the trees - and which we were able to use this trip for barbequeing in the snow storm:) Very dog friendly as located off the main road and km of trails right out the door for walking off leash or snowshoeing. Would absolutely return at any time of year!

We had a struggle with the mortgage company for a home that had purchased near Yarmouth, but this made the hassles easier to deal with and it was a great location to get out and meet our new neighbors

Our group was extremely happy to find this gem for accommodations for the Wharf Rat Rally! We had 3 1/2 couples in our group and there was plenty of room for all of us and our gear. It is located realtively close to Digby and the ride to and from was absolutely wonderful! We were happy to find plenty of rooms, a fully stocked kitchen, 2 spacious bathrooms and a diningroom large enough to fit us all. The property and views were beautiful as well. It was a great place to relax after a long day of riding. Last but not least, our hosts were amazing! They made sure our stay was the best! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Mike and Micheline were great! We enjoyed our stay a lot! Very nice and peaceful place if you looking for an escape from the city, lots of beautiful trails around. Was nice and tidy inside the house. We travel almost everywhere with our pup and grateful to Mike and Micheline for the opportunity to bring him with us! Overall, it was a great stay for us!

Gorgeous property. Better than photos convey. Decor is very tasteful, bathroom large and beautiful shower. Everything was done thoughtfully and professionally. Hosts were very responsive and clear. We got some snow during our stay and they were on top of having everything shoveled. Stayed for Christmas while visiting family and couldn’t get over how cozy the place was. I felt like I was staying in the Nova Scotian version of Kate Winslet’s cottage from “the holiday”. Would be gorgeous in the summer too.

Karen's place is like home away from home for our pals' weekends away - well outfitted kitchen with a beautiful site on the Annapolis River across from Annapolis Royal, comfortable lounge and living areas, lots of great books to read and located in a charming little village. Karen is very responsible and is a great host - thanks again, Karen!

If you like camping, this place has everything you need!! The bed was very comfortable and the place had all we expected for camping. Keeping in mind, it's not a hotel, so if you don't mind being in an older trailor equiped with gas, a/c, heat and a tiny bathroom with kitchen... then this an excellent place for a couple or single travelor to set up camp for their next vacation. I'd stay there again.

Excellent stay, exactly as described and shown in pictures. Heather was extremely helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be back again when in the area!

This was a perfect location for us. 20 min to Digby and 20 min to Annapolis. I had messed up when we were supposed to check and Timothy was so accommodating. We were very lucky for our last night there 😊. If you are looking for a nice quiet area to wind down at night for a great price, this is it. Highly recommend.

Great location. Enjoyed the deck overlooking the water. House was just as it looked in the listing and host was easy to communicate with.

Only minutes away from Mavilette Beach! Great place to stay with my Mom and Sisters (and a few fur babies). It was only a short jaunt to visit relatives in Bell Neck and then play tourist in the surrounding area. Thank you!

We had a fantastic time at Gary’s cabin! Outstanding location for peace and tranquility. Great launching point for exploring Digby Neck and the islands. Superb value and comfortable, cozy cabin! Loved it!

Beautiful spot! This place exceeded our expectations for what we were looking for and they were wonderful to work with. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again if we were in the area!

The place is large, beautiful surroundings and amazing views !!! Everything is very clean. The furniture and linen are a bit dated but generally in good shape.
