Our reservation for the size of our group stay was super! The rooms were huge, private and super neat and clean. The ample bathrooms in the house eases the load and no waiting for others to finish. The entertainment and dining areas were so well planned which makes this house an ideal place for a huge family reunion, group or corporate outing or even a workshop for a small executive group. The kitchen is huge and had lovely amenities. Even the cottage was clean and neat, as our big group of 15 utilized all the facilities. We had a power failure in the house but was quickly attended to and there were daylight alternatives. Housekeeping is right up there.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Riaan and Malia were so hospitable and always responsive when we reached out to them. They even greeted us when we first arrived and gave us fresh baked bread. The outdoor area is very nice and fun for children to play. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of supplies to cook/bake. The house is very safe and secure and just as shown in the pictures. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

We had the pleasure of staying at Stanley & Alison's cottage for a long stay, and it was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Our cat, Meadow, was warmly welcomed, which meant so much to us. The cottage is nestled among stunning trees and abundant wildlife, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Its location is incredibly convenient—close to Melrose Arch, Rosebank Mall, Norwood Mall, and just about anything else we needed. The cottage itself is spacious, well maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could need in the kitchen, bathroom, and for linens. The weekly visits from the friendly cleaner and helpful gardener were a lovely bonus and added to the ease of our stay. Stanley & Alison were excellent hosts, and we truly loved every moment of our time here. We can’t recommend this cottage enough to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-situated retreat. The most comfortable bed we slept in during our South African stay! Quality appliances, comfortable furnishings. A great patio for outdoor eating and braaing, and a lovely garden for the kids to play in. The host was amazingly responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend and we will certainly stay here again on future trips.

I had a fantastic stay at Leo’s place in the Waterfall City area! The house is beautiful, spacious, and perfect for families, offering a comfortable and stylish retreat. The check-in and check-out process uses daily codes, which was seamless thanks to Leo’s helpfulness—he sent multiple codes in advance and was incredibly responsive throughout. He also recommended great local spots, which enhanced our trip. The area felt very safe, adding to the overall peace of mind. I’d highly recommend Leo’s place and will definitely be back!

Randall and his family were great host. They are very welcoming and friendly. Always ready to assist if you needed anything. The place is beautiful and private. The surroundings are nice and quiet.

Hilde went out of her way to accommodate us after I made a mistake with our booking. We were so grateful for her flexibility and help. Her place is homely and in a very safe area which helped us enjoy our time spent there even more. Getting an Uber from there was very easy. It's also close to the airport. We found the bed very comfortable. The garden is gorgeous. So all in all it's great value for money. Thanks Hilde.
