Family-friendly vacation rentals in Cisternino

The place is super cute. We had terrible rain storms while we were there so we stayed in and cooked and used the spa. The temps outside were very cold so it took a while to get heated but once heated it was a cozy lovely stay. We will return in the summer.

Everything was fantastic, and the apartment and the location and the hosts, we had delicious gifts, the beds were very comfortable, it's cozy and has everything we needed, we will come back again if we are visiting Bari again!

We had a wonderful time at Stefano's place with our family of 5. The property and home are beautiful. The kids enjoyed playing in the yard. There is ample patio space for dining or relaxing. We went off season and didn't use the pool but it looks wonderful for the summer. The old stone part of the house has great character. The hot tub is a great way to relax. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. We had plenty of room to spread out and relax. It's a short 10 minute drive to Ostuni, which has plenty of restaurants, shops, and things to see. We greatly enjoyed our time and would highly recommend the place to anyone visiting the area.

We truly enjoyed our stay - the trulli was beautiful and especially the pool was amazing, perfect to swim laps in. Andrea and Agata were super hosts, going above and beyond to help us with some challenges with our rental car etc. We'd be happy to go back one day!

Donato is a dream host and takes much pride in his Airbnbs. He sent us great recommendations of towns and cities in the region and went over and above to make sure we had the best trip possible. Donato’s mum was the sweetest and provided us with lots of breakfast treats over our stay. The accommodation is beautiful, a classic cosy trullo with the comforts of home. The design of the trullo allows for cool sleeping conditions! The garden was lovely and included a play area for our little one! The pool is gorgeous and overlooks the fields beyond. As with most of Puglia, we would recommend a car to see the region. Alberobello is very close by and such an enchanting beautiful town. We also travelled to polignano a mare, monopoli, matera, Martina Franca and Ostuni from here. Thank you for having us!

Marilena's trullo was spectacular! and the pool area was such an added bonus after a hot day! The breakfast option was great, lots of choice and Marilena asking if we wanted to change anything. She also had great recommendations for dinner and options for a wet day excursion. We managed to check-in early and enjoy more time in Alberobello. The trullo and surroundings were so clean and well maintained that we just wished that we had more than three nights before returning home. A great host and a fabulous stay, can't recommend it enough.

Domenico is a fantastic host, he proactively shared all the information we needed and helpful information restaurants divided by type of food and price range, we had a total of 5 reservations for our stay in Italy and only Domenico had such a proactive and kind approach. The apartment is one of the best I've been to in Italy, clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The attention to the smallest details is admirable. Tip: if you like flowers, this place feels like a magical garden. We will definitely come back for longer stay. Grazie mille, Domenico!

This was the place we were looking for for our vacation. Quiet, cozy, authentic for the area, which has everything you need. Giuseppe is a very good host. Giuseppe's aunt Antoniette is very nice and welcoming, and Pasquale is very funny. Thank you for the hospitality!❤️

Ive just spent 3 nights staying at Donatos studio in Cisternino. Donato was a great communicator and the location is perfect, right in the middle of the old town of Cisternino. I would definately stay there again. Thanks Donato!

What a great week we had at Graziana&Leonardo! A beautiful traditional trullo with all the comforts: kitchen, good beds, large bathroom with a lovely shower, everything very clean, a cozy patio where it was good to stay for breakfast and in the evening for a glass of wine with tasty snacks! Also completely fell in love with the cats that came to greet us every day. The trullo is wonderfully quiet in the Itria Valley, surrounded by olive trees, so relaxed. Nearby there is a lot to do, Martina Franca, Alberobello, Locorotondo, Monopoli, Polignano a Mare, Ostuni, Tarente … We ran out of time, it would have been better to book for two weeks! We were spoiled with delicious breakfasts, we could ask questions, so we got a great tip for a wine tasting nearby. In short, we can recommend this hospitable place to everyone and will definitely pass it on to everyone in our area! Thank you Graziana&Leonardo!

We had a dream stay at Cinzia and Dominico's. We particularly appreciated their warm welcome and human qualities. We recommend this cottage ideally located in the heart of Puglia JP TROTIN

Nadias place was really nice. It felt like a hidden place in a small town, which was ideal for our vacations. We really enjoyed it.

I stayed here with my husband, our babysitter, and two small children ages four and two. We were very comfortable. Everything that we needed was there. It is very central to many areas and very beautiful. I would stay here again if we came back. I highly recommend.

This was my family’s first time in Puglia. We were in Italy to celebrate my husband’s 50th. Our trip started in Florence, then Rome, and finally Cisternino. The trullo was an amazing part of our stay. A super low-key, chill, RELAXING final destination with ample opportunities to explore if you rent a car, which is a must. We visited Locorotondo, Alberobello, Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, and even went to Matera, which is the 3rd oldest city in human history. Being so centrally located made all this travel easy. Our 8-year-old daughter adored the unique experience of staying in a Trullo and loved the freedom of roaming the rural property. We live in Brooklyn, NY so being in the countryside was such a treat. And even though it was winter we were blessed with great weather 50degrees farenheit every day. We would absolutely stay here again and hope to in the future! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Fabio’s ! The appartement is beautiful and well equipped. The place is very peaceful and private. the huge swimming pool is just the cherry of top of the cake ! It’s super well located , you have so much to visit within an hour drive. Fabio and Dorit gave us many tips on restaurants, nice beaches and places to visit. They were super helpful all along our stay and we even had some local pastries dropped at our door when we woke up. If you still hesitate, just go for it I assure you , you won’t regret ! We will definitely come back :)

This Trullo was a gem. Rosanna met us and told us all information. The Trulli was truly a cosy house. There was everything we needed and the outdoor patio was gorgeous. Very close to lots of towns in Puglia. We stayed here for 5 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend

Our stay at Borgo Marietta in the trullo casera remains our best experience of all the countries we have made! The place has been renovated respecting the family tradition and the rendering is beautiful. The trullo is even bigger and more beautiful than the pictures, it is fresh and very clean. The pool that is accessible from the terrace is a haven of peace where you can share kindly with the other hosts. It is very well placed to visit the villages of Puglia. We had a doubt about the location in the middle of the activity area but we were quickly reassured because it does not hinder the beauty of the Borgo. A supermarket is a 2-minute walk away which is very convenient! In short, we don't see any flaws for this beautiful place run by very friendly people. Go there without so much as a second thought…

I have stayed at close to 100 airbnbs and this has been one of the best. The garden and house are so beautiful and atmospheric while still being totally comfortable. The house has all the modern amenities you need- hot showers with lovely water pressure, comfy beds, a well equipped kitchen in case you want to cook (there is even a dishwasher), a pellet stove to keep us warm on a cool night, and good WiFi. Enza is a very responsive and attentive host, and got back to us immediately anytime we needed assistance. My children played for hours in the beautiful garden and loved seeing the donkeys. The house is about 12 minutes outside of locorotondo and Cisternino (where we found a good playground for our kids), and we were even able to walk 20 minutes to a pizza place, which was a beautiful way to see the countryside. I would absolutely recommend staying here- it was very memorable, relaxing, and enjoyable.

Really wonderful. Very quiet location but not too far from Ostuni. You definitely need a car for shopping or excursions to the surrounding area or to the beach (about 35 minutes by car). The decor is beautiful, practical and the outdoor pool is not too big, but more than sufficient to cool off. Everything is clean and the communication worked perfectly.

Elisabetta’s trullo is a memorable place, with the history of the property on display almost like a museum. The grounds are spacious with organic fruit waiting to be picked. The pool area is amazing & the pool has a deep end & diving board which is quite rare bonus. There are many towns of cultural significance just a short drive away. Our only regret is that we only stayed for a week.

We had a very pleasant stay at Orazio’s beautiful villa outside of Martina Franca. The house itself is lovely but the outdoor space is spectacular. There are many places to lounge in the sun or to have a meal, or to simply sit in the sheltered patio. Orazio is the perfect host! He is very proactive and helpful, providing excellent recommendations for local restaurants. The swimming pool is a very welcome extra that we were grateful to have. Would love to return!
