The place is very cozy and restful, with a great view of natural surroundings and the mountains! The host couple were very friendly and proactively helpful, ready to lend a hand even with lighting up the grill! We are planning to come back in the summer time, to enjoy the place and the lush greenery of the surroundings. It is also a picturesque place for the winter season, not far from the slopes! Imagine a Christmas in a chalet in a Romanian village at an altitude of 1300m with your whole family dazzled eyes of wonderful landscapes covered in 1 meter of snow. That's what we just experienced 😍 And all this was possible thanks to Severina who welcomed us to her cottage with our 2 hours late. A splendid Christmas tree, a good fireplace, an excellent nut cake and its great kindness. I do not forget his foresight for the gas bottle on New Year's Eve for our crepes (thank you to this small shop that allowed us to refuel during our 2 days stuck in the snow), and especially thank you for his reassuring words when it came to the conditions of travel on the roads and to its great neighbors who helped us and reassured us about the climatic conditions. The cottage was ideally located to explore from the villages nearby. Cisnadie and Cisnadiora are a 15-minute drive away. Elena was extremely welcoming and we could always go to her if we needed anything. We didn't speak Italian or Romanian. That wasn't a problem. We understood each other. Next to the house there is a small supermarket where everything you might need is available. We greatly enjoyed our stay in Sadu with Elena and Franco. Recommended.

We had a really nice stay, in a quiet place. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, surrounded by a huge garden. Perfect house for spending time with friends or family, with lots to do indoor or outdoor to keep you entertained. Mihnea was very nice and helpful. Would like to return anytime soon :)

We had a lovely stay over Christmas. Catalin decorated the cabin for us with a festive touch, lights, a tree, chocolates. We were lucky to have snow, and together with the fireplace it was such a perfect atmosphere. The communication was easy, helpful and quick. We were provided with all that was needed for a cozy and comfortable stay. Thank you!

The cottage is a dream! You're in the middle of nature by a river. The interior is so spacious and with the big windows you really feel very close to wilderness. We had an amazing, relaxing experience.

A fantastic place to stay! The house is beautiful, has great views and is perfect to enjoy the tranquility. Behind the house you can make great hikes! Marian is very nice and flexible. A dream of a place to stay, we were there for the third time and will definitely be back! The value for money is great!!!

The place was amazing! Situated in an old village with beautiful view it is a perfect getaway for a family of 4, or as in our case, a family of 3 and grandparents. We only planned for a night to go visit the nearby attractions for kids on our way to Sibiu, but would have liked to stay one more night. Very spacious, modern, very clean and comfortable! AC in every room is a plus! Outside there is a nice yard for barbecue that we didn’t use but used the table for breakfast. There is also a small place just for the little ones! Overall the place was beyond expectations!
