Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Cilento Coast

Enchanting place, everything is perfect. Extremely friendly and kind hosts, perfect for visiting the area, we will definitely be back.

Hemingway, rumored to have spent some time in Acciaroli, said of Italy, "Sometimes I think we only half live over here. The Italians live all the way." At Casa Speranza, I was afforded the quiet and space to access the the other half. The apartment was clean, simple, and walking distance to the Acciaroli beaches and the markets and cafes in town, and only a short drive (30-180 minutes) to some lovely walks and runs in Parco Nazionale del Cilento. Francesco and his mom and dad were very gracious hosts; check-in and parking was a breeze, and his mother Giovanna even went so far as to cook my partner and I acciuga in a red wine vinegar, garlic and mint as an unexpected surprise for lunch. We loved our stay here and would love to return!

We had a great stay in Marco's small apartment. The apartment was super furnished, it really had everything you need. We felt right at home! We were lucky enough to meet Marco in person at check-in - a special thanks goes to his many tips for our vacation. Thanks also for letting us take our two dogs. We highly recommend the accommodation and if we go back to the area, we will be happy to stay there again.

Having traveled extensively through Europe we were a little doubtful about the consistently exceptional reviews of this apartment but here we are adding our 100% recommendation. The apartment is beautiful and the location provides access to several day trips, including Positano and Amalfi, assuming you ever want to leave the balcony. The views are stunning so staying put is a valid choice! What sets this Airbnb apart however are the hosts. Never have we had hosts who were so helpful and invested in our stay. On the day we arrived, Angela and her husband drove us to the market to buy provisions (we could have walked but they wanted to save us the trip up the stone steps). Every day Raffaele checked in with us to provide recommendations, advice, or to offer to arrange transportation- sometimes by him! He sent detailed pictures for directions and checked in to be sure we found the bus stops etc. There are a lot of steps, so bring your sneakers and enjoy this amazing property.

Absolutely amazing place to be. waking up in the morning with the sun shining on your bed, seeing a beautiful mountain view from the window. And in the evening beautiful sunsets. Great beaches nearby, some hikes. Luca was very helpful and kind. I would very much like to come back once in the summertime.

Beautiful place to stay! Short driving distance to many historical towns and 3 min driving to the beach. Ocean views and very peaceful. Very clean and brand new small apartment. Giorgio and his wife were very kind and helpful during our stay! We changed some plans and decided to make another reservation to stay longer in their place because of the hospitality and the place.

The accommodation has a great location, is comfortable and very clean, equipped with everything you need for a peaceful stay surrounded by the greenery of centuries-old olive trees! What was more important was the availability of Gloria, who gave us very useful tips and tips for our trip to Cilento! Highly recommended!

Alfonso was the lovliest host, and we feel so lucky to have grabbed up a weekend at his beautiful apartment! It's located in a beautiful 'village' feeling town, with friendly proprietors, musicians.. gorgeous food, drinks, shopping, and views! We can't recommend it highly enough!

What a place! The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning – and to top it off, the host was so welcoming and friendly, offering great local recommendations. Giovanni was incredibly accommodating and even picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. We had a fantastic time! Location-wise, it's excellent – close to the beach and other attractions. The studio has everything you need for a couple. Thank you again, Giovanni and Luisa!

We had a very nice stay with Luciano. You can enjoy private and the area is nice and quiet. Luciano is always available and very welcoming. As a nice surprise, we also received mozzarella and delicious lemons. Unfortunately, we couldn't eat everything. The location is on a mountain. You do need a car. By car, you can be downstairs in a few minutes and you can go to the beach and eat well. There are also all kinds of things to do nearby. It is also nice that you are mainly among Italians, so it is not so touristy. Not a single Dutch person met in our week there! Learning a word of Italian is useful.

Fantastic host for extraordinary hospitality, courtesy and communication. We were able to leave the car in a small internal courtyard, super convenient. The house is equipped with everything you need to feel at home: bath towels, detergents, coffee, sugar, etc. Very quiet place, very clean apartment. Thank you for the very welcome fresh water and the excellent sweets that we were given. Highly recommended!

Two days of absolute relaxation with the family We spent two days surrounded by greenery and the beauty of this villa with a breathtaking sea view, corners of the house to fully enjoy every relaxation. We were welcomed by Marzio and his family and made us feel like part of it. We'll be back soon to this magnificent property

We felt so comfortable and welcome from the first second. The place was beautiful. No matter where you looked, the view was always breathtakingly beautiful. The accommodation has everything you need to enjoy your vacation. Everything was very clean so that you really felt comfortable. The kitchen is a dream and it's fun to cook in it. The balcony is perfect for enjoying the view both at sunrise and sunset, with direct ocean and mountain views. You can walk comfortably down to the local beach. There are great restaurants and bakeries right in Montecorice, e.g. Biga pizzeria, Catania, Caffetteria Torretta. But the best thing about the vacation was the helpfulness, hospitality and great tips from our hosts! We will be happy to come back :)

Very nice rental unit in a beautiful, peaceful, setting. Great views from every window, and just a few steps from the beach. We had a great stay here , and certainly would recommend it for anyone looking for a beautiful and peaceful setting.

Absolutely book this Airbnb, it’s even more stunning in person! Roberto’s place completely exceeded our expectations. The photos don’t do it justice. We were blown away from the moment we arrived and are already planning to return. The spacious terrace offers a breathtaking view, with plenty of seating to relax and soak it all in. It was so peaceful and serene: a place that made us want to stay in and enjoy the home. One afternoon, with the incredible backdrop of the terrace, my boyfriend proposed, it was magical and unforgettable. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including an incredibly cozy bed. The location is ideal, just a short, scenic walk to the main square and its charming restaurants. We also found it easy to visit Amalfi and Minori from Ravello. Roberto is a wonderful host - warm, welcoming, and attentive. He arranged a private driver for us, greeted us at check-in, and offered local tips. He made us feel right at home. This Airbnb is a must!

Was such an amazing visit. The place is beautiful and was definitely the highlight of our trip. The host Giovanni was very kind to pick us up from the train station and gave us great recommendations. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone and would love the opportunity to come back some day!

Margherita’s condo is nothing short of a hidden gem in Salerno! Located in a secure location on a quiet side street, this place is very comfy and well-equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay (however do be prepared to climb a few flights of stairs to access the condo!). We could’ve sat on the balcony for hours just marvelling at the breathtaking view of the mountains. Margherita and Francesca were wonderful hosts; always communicative and ready to help! Despite the language barrier between us, Margherita kindly took the time to meet us at the outside gate for check-in and showed us all that the place had to offer (including a tasting of her homemade limoncello!). It truly is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the Amalfi Coast. We are so grateful to Margherita and Francesca for taking such great care of us!! :)

Beautiful apartment in a wonderful city. I will return!

Federica was a welcoming host who responded quickly to messages and checked in with us during our stay. The apartment has everything you need for a holiday and the views from the terrace are amazing. We loved sitting there for breakfast and an evening drink. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby. However please note that this is not an apartment for people with limited mobility. There are lots of stairs and it’s a steep walk back from town. For us it was a fabulous stay.

We had a wonderful vacation with Laura and Vito, the best hostess and host you can imagine. Even before arrival, I received useful information about the region. Upon arrival we were picked up at Salerno airport. We immediately had a nice chat and in the apartment we got all kinds of tips to discover the region, also on a culinary level :-). Vito is always available and responds immediately to your message. Nearby you have a bakery, fruit shop, supermarket, delicatessen, very good restaurants and bars. The apartment is very spacious and neat with a beautiful view of the sea. You don't need a car here. The bus takes you to the station and the ferry service or a half-hour walk is of course also possible. Since we haven't seen everything of this beautiful region yet, we will definitely go back.
