Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Christiansburg

Beautiful views and surroundings. Great back deck to enjoy the area. House was well set up and kitchen had everything we needed, and appreciated the coffee! Rebecca was super helpful and responsive….we had a great getaway!

Such a beautiful and peaceful location. It was so easy to get to, the roads were well maintained and the house was spotless. I really appreciated the extra effort like coffee left with creamer and sugar and a little snack basket with individually wrapped pretzels and cookies. I can’t recommend this place enough as it was perfect for my husband, self, and our toddler. Will definitely be returning if in that direction again :)

This place is awesome! It rained most of the time we were there, but with all the amenities there was plenty for us to do around the house. The dock is awesome, and it’s on a nice, quiet, spot on the lake. We hope to be back in the future!

This is a very special and beautiful place!!! It is very rare to find something so close to Blacksburg and Christiansburg while also feeling completely private and surrounded by nature! The pond is quite large and has beautiful trout swimming around (NO fishing!). I did jump in for a swim on a 75° morning, but it is stream-fed and shaded - quite cold! I quickly couldn't touch my feet, so it's also quite deep. If you plan to swim, I'd suggest waiting for a 90°+ afternoon! We waded in the creek and walked the road listening to birds. The Merlin bird ID app identified SO many birds that we had never heard of, including a Louisiana Water Thrush, which kept jumping off the ground to catch bugs. I strongly recommend bringing your favorite insect repellent during insect months. But from an ecological standpoint, this is as close as you get to pristine nature and still having modern amenities! IMO, this would be perfect for a couple small families with kids. We will definitely be back!!!

This is my second time staying in this fantastic cabin and one more time we had an amazing weekend here. The view is beautiful, very relaxing, the beds are very comfy and love the fact that we had everything we need in here. Matthew thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us. We will come back soon.

Love the place. Felt like you are in a tree house. Saw wildlife every morning. Only downside was that it rained and we could not use the fire pit.

This house is beautiful I would love to come back there. the river is really nice and the amount of space is nice also. The host was amazing he helped me out and he was a really nice dude. Over all 10 out of 10 experience.

Birgit was wonderful throughout our entire stay! She welcomed us and recommended some really great restaurants nearby. Very peaceful neighborhood while still being within a short drive of downtown. Would absolutely stay again, thanks so much Birgit :)

We had a wonderful stay while in for a wedding. The cottage is so cute and homey. It has everything you need for a great stay plus some thoughtful extras. I must also say the beds are so comfortable and the hot tub was a great way to end our days. Highly recommend staying here.

Our stay in Floyd was incredibly peaceful—tucked in the heart of nature, quiet, private, and serene. Kathryn was a wonderful host—warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The hot tub was a perfect touch for relaxation. The kitchen was well stocked. We also attended a beautiful Mother’s Day gathering in the main house with music and a potluck, which was truly special. The hosts made the entire experience even more memorable. We loved every moment!

Anthony's place was very clean and welcoming. felt secluded even though was close to everything. was well pleased with our stay. only drawback was we weren't able to control the temperature and the house was 76 degrees too hot for June. Anthony did turn it down some but was still too hot for us . plenty of wildlife if that's your thing, the deer come close enough to almost pet them . I will definitely stay here again it's perfect for just 2 people

Have stayed here multiple times and every experience has been fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay. Marcia’s communication is great and the Coleman Suite is so unique and cozy. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the Floyd area.

Clean, quiet, and conveniently located to downtown and campus. Had a great stay!

Easy to find, easy to check in. It was SO peaceful as if you had the whole place to yourself. It was wheel chair accessible. Had a full kitchen with all the stuff we needed to cook full meals. It was super clean all around . The dock area is wonderful and was peaceful to sit by the water. It’s not often you have access to 12 acres on the lake. No complaints. We would for sure stay here again.

My wife and I enjoyed a quick anniversary trip here and we were 10/10 pleased! The room was clean, comfy and had everything we needed. The location is amazing, from the view to the convenience of the pool, and dining. We were even able to rent a boat on site which was very convenient. Overall we had such a fun and relaxing time, and Susan was very easy to work with!

The cabin was beautiful! Wish we were there for more than the one night. We will come back for a longer trip! The trout pond was a lot of fun for my 12 y/o as well. He caught several large rainbows!

Just book it!! Y’all, this place is amazing. The photos don’t even do it justice, it’s just too pretty to describe! Not a single detail is missed, and the views are incredible. This cabin just feels like home. Alison has so tastefully decorated it, and it feels like a luxury space with cozy elements in every corner. It’s SO clean—smells so fresh, everything is pristine. The covered porch is obviously incredible, but we also adored the fire pit area for the views and seclusion on top of the mountain. Yes, the driveway is tough, but it’s 100000% worth it once you’re up there. Like the host states, as long as you have 4WD, you’ll glide right up (just take it slow)! We had no trouble in a pickup with 4WD. I promise, it’s not nearly as steep as it first seems once you actually drive it, and it is sooooo unique and incredible up top!! I would live here in a heartbeat. Trust me, just choose this place! Alison was a wonderful host as well, and so helpful and friendly :)

We had an excellent stay in this cabin. It was quiet and private but still close to things we wanted to do. The little walking trail on the property was great. 10/10 would stay here again.

We LOVED the lodge! Beautiful scenery and homey feeling. Everything worked great and overall we would absolutely come back again.

My fiance and I were able to book the cabin for a last minute weekend getaway. The house was very clean, cute and perfect for what we needed. Our dog enjoyed the big fenced in yard, and we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. We had everything we needed to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner (bring your own seasonings though), and got restful sleep! We were beyond grateful to enjoy this home for the weekend! The biggest complaints on the reviews are the wifi and the driveway... we didn't have any issues with either personally.. but if you're afraid to get your car dirty or need to work the whole trip, maybe pick something closer to town.. otherwise its perfect to unplug and unwind!

This place was amazing. A beautiful, comfy hide-a-way right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin was very clean and everything we needed was available. The host, Rebecca, was fantastic. She was very responsive and provided exactly what we needed before and during our stay. The artsy and amazing little town of Floyd, VA is about 15 minutes away and has anything you could possibly want and the drive to get there is breathtaking with multiple scenic over looks and a few parks and campgrounds in the area. There are multiple other beautiful little mountain towns within an hour drive of the areas as well such Mt. Airy, NC(home of Mayberry). We will definitely be back!!!Do your self a favor and book this wonderful little place. You will not regret it.

This cabin is amazing. As soon as we walked in we were in love, and I said multiple times over the few days we were here that I wished I could live here. It is beautifully decorated with a nice mix of retro and modern. Kaitlin was amazing before our stay and gave us lots of ideas on things to do, which we did a lot of! She answered questions we had during our stay as well. She really did think of everything and put a lot of thought into creating this space and making sure it had everything we needed while we were there. 100% recommend Kaitlin and her cabin to anyone. We will definitely be back!!
