Vacation rentals in Christian Valley

We had a wonderful time in Andrews Sugar Cottage. It is very nice cottage in a calm setting surrounded by a green garden and jungle sounds. We didnt meet him or his assistant in person but the communication and service was flawless - we were even greeted with a fruit basket and a starter pack, thanks! We enjoyed the big terrace a lot and are already looking back to evenings just waiting for the sun to go down and listening to the island sounds. There is also the lovely house dog Mango - very friendly and attentive. There are also other dogs in this area so there is some barking going on during the day. Be aware of the mosquitos and get used to carry the provided mosquito bats along. You will also need a car to get to all the beaches, restaurants and sights. We highly recommend the cottage for people who want to stay away from the big resorts and feel more like a local. We loved it and would definitely book again. Andrea and Dennis were perfect hosts, and the house is spectacular. It’s a real hidden gem, close to English Harbour with lots of great restaurants and beaches, but secluded and private with gorgeous views. The house had everything we need; every detail has been thought of. The beautiful pool is a particular highlight. Andrea and Dennis were extremely responsive and helpful, and we felt extremely safe.

I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay at Cammile’s place. From the moment I arrived, she was warm, welcoming, and always accessible. There was even a moment when I thought I misplaced my key late at night, and she responded quickly and calmly, which I truly appreciated as a first-time Airbnb guest. The location is one of the biggest highlights, it’s right in the centre of the island, so getting around was a breeze. Most places I wanted to visit were only about a 30-minute drive away, which made exploring super convenient. The space itself was clean, quiet, and peaceful, with no disturbance from neighbors. Both Cammile and her daughter were respectful of my privacy, yet responsive whenever I reached out for assistance or information. The value for money was definitely there. I felt right at home. A lovely place in a quiet neighbourhood. Neil and Alincia communicated well before and throughout our stay. A simple accommodation with a great pool, terrace and gorgeous view. Is as seen on photos so you know what you’re getting. Has everything you need inc hairdryer, iron, hot shower, tea, coffee etc! Would recommend having a car to get around from here. Would stay here again. Thanks!

Coral View I had the pleasure of staying at Brooke’s villa - Coral View from 4- 13 Aug. Brooke and her house manager were an absolute dream to liaise with. Questions and advice asked were answered promptly. The villa was exactly like the pictures and it was extremely well stocked with utensils, bedding , towels, bathroom amenities. The villa was extremely comfortable and clean and the ceiling fans and air conditioning worked perfectly. The location is perfect close to beach, supermarket, restaurants and the pool. The villa was like a home away from home. I am looking forward to my next visit!!

We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful villa just a couple of minutes from the beach and within a 15 minute walk of several great marina side restaurants. The local beach is fantastic, watching the sunset in the evening with a cocktail from Sandra's beach bar was magical and the location of the villa is perfect. We managed to explore much of the island and were left in no doubt that we were staying in the perfect location in terms of the proximity of many of the best beaches on the island. Chelsey and Jenny were very helpful and the accommodation was perfect, we wouldn't have changed a thing. The large deck in particular was fantastic, a lovely place to start and end the day. Hopefully one day we will be lucky enough to return.

Simona is a dedicated and really friendly host who cares about the well-being of her guests. The apartment is very clean. Simona helped us communicate with different tours for our bookings. Also, it's always available. I would recommend this apartment in which we were very comfortable. The view of the mountains is splendid and it is so nice to spend our evenings watching the beautiful starry sky. The location is very well located. This was a great stay!

Silvia is a friendly and responsive host. We were met with a lovely warm welcome. The apartment was as described, with plenty of place for two, and well equipped for our stay. The highlight of our stay had to be the most incredible views from the balcony where you could watch the sun setting every evening. No photos prepared us for that. Our experience of exploring the area - Epicurean supermarket, 20min walk well stocked and with a hot food counter as well. Sun Fusion the closest restaurant, had a local menu which was good, and we also enjoyed the ice cream selection they had. Valley Church Beach was approx a 10 min walk, Ffyes Beach 15 mins (our favourite in the area) and we did walk to Darkwood Beach 25 mins (but wouldn't recommend as it's a long walk in the heat and on a relatively busy road side. ) The local buses were easy and inexpensive to use, and we used them to get to St Johns. However if you wish to travel further, I would recommend hiring a rental car.
