Alta does an amazing job making the morgue an interesting and cozy place to stay! From complimentary snacks and toiletries to scary decor and ghost hunting equiment, she had it all. Whether you find the Historic Morgue to be a spooky stay or not, you will certainly find it to be a fun one. We definitely recommend it if you're looking for a really unique and well-maintained place to stay in the Ozark area.

The location was peaceful. Did not know the owners lived on the property. They did give us privacy. Love the fire pit and the front porch with a smaller fire pit. Maybe add a small grill?? Just a thought. Inside was cozy. Not used to the stairs…lol!! It did give me a workout. Great place to stay. Very quiet and peaceful. Very pleasant.

Lillian's airbnb was AMAZING! She was very communicative and when I asked about the weather, she was quick to respond. Despite the weather canceling the plans my friends and I had made, Lillian made sure to give many different recommendations that we tried! The house was very comfortable and homey. Despite it being small, it was beautifully decorated and we found something new to comment on each time. I could not recommend this airbnb enough for those who want to get away!

Our stay here was exactly what we were looking for- peaceful, quiet, comfortable, clean & calm. Easy to locate, close to a lot of delicious food places and attractions. Great communication that was clear & positive!! The location provided quiet from everyday hustle & bustle with beautiful views off the deck. The calm of the James River was just a short walk (steps really) from the house and was just as quiet & peaceful as everything else. We will certainly keep this property on our list for when we return to the area!

This place is beautiful!! So many decks to choose from to sit and listen to the birds and a creek! Every room was clean. The kitchen had everything you would need! The hot tub sat on a deck where you could relax and listen to the outdoors! Misty is awesome and thought of everything! This place is a must to for us to return!! Ben and Kristina

Virginias Home is so comfy and cozy. The yard and surrounding area is beautiful! I was accompanied by 6 other people and we all felt we had space and could commune together. The common area provided everyone a place to sit and talk in a group. I loved the kitchen and felt it was perfect for us and we made many meals in our short stay! We went to a Christian conference over the weekend and I think this home really added to the entire experience!

We found the place simply because we had a family wedding at a nearby venue. We are already planning a return trip for a more leisurely stay! The host went out of her way to help us check in a little early. The house was clean and cozy! It met all our needs and we enjoyed the eclectic art, thoughtful books, extra treats and snacks. A cup of coffee on the back deck watching the forest and valley wake up… Every amenity and detail of this house was clearly thoughtful, welcoming, and just right. Clearly hospitality and a creative spirit are gifts of this excellent host! We will be back soon.

This listing couldn't have been more accurate. What you see here is what you get... a beautiful cottage, squeaky clean home, lovely surroundings, close to shopping but not too close, fantastic hosts, oh-so-comfy beds, scrumptious bread, extra amenities, abundance of pillows and fluffy blankets, and I could go on and on. Honestly, I felt like I was the first one staying in a brand new home because it was that clean! The hosts were on hand if I needed them, but there weren't any needs because they'd gone over and above before I arrived. Five stars - would definitely stay here again!

Buck Creek Lodge

Following an injury while on ship our son, a Master Sergeant in the Marines, needed some recuperative time with his wife and family. Buck Creek Lodge provided a peaceful, comfortable atmosphere away from the everyday hustle and noise. We all enjoyed cups of coffee on the deck watching the horses graze and fires in the firepit with s'mores on the crisp nights. Quiet hikes to the creek and around the property were so enjoyable too. Discovering the antique malls down the interstate was an added "adventure". We came home with some decor for our homes that will be reminders of a wonderful vacation. we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Buck Creek Lodge and hope to return in the future. Thank you, Ben, for stopping by too, we really enjoyed visiting with you.

This was our second stay at Emily's place. Just what our family needed during a weeklong basketball tournament. Loved every minute, especially the very comfortable beds and furniture, sunny outdoor space and clean decluttered home. Will return for sure!

Hosts were sweet and a great location for a quiet, peaceful place. Be prepared for the entrance to the property awd or 4wd vehicle. We went up in 4wd as it is steep and loose gravel rocks not paved no problem going slow. Home was c6lean and welcoming, very kind family. We really wanted to see the caves but no one was awake or around the morning we were going to leave to ask for the location (our fault we should have asked the night before) which was one big attraction to the location. They put out snacks for us for departure. We had our own refrigeration and our space was clean and the bathrooms were clean. It was safe and a nice break. A 35 minute drive to Silver Dollar City and 45 minutes to Branson FYI. The family is there in the same space so it is not a secluded private home. Communication was excellent.

Pretty big house with 4 bedrooms, which is great. We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It has everything you need. There were lots of little things that need maintenance, but nothing that ruined our trip. We would stay there again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Ozark WonderWoods! The space felt like a home, and we were all very comfortable. We had a fun time playing the games that the space already came equipped with. We would definitely stay here again!

You know how property photos are often misleading because they make a place look larger or grander than it actually is? Well, the photos for this listing were the exact opposite! There was tons of wonderful space in this property which was a really pleasant surprise! The listing also shows there is only one bathroom, but there is actually a smaller second full bathroom, so that also very welcomed. We enjoyed the spacious front porch, generous kitchen counter/island to cook and gather, roomy bedrooms, comfy living room, etc. We also appreciated all the antiques and folk art decor -- so much interesting stuff to look at. The location of this property is within walking distance to the town square (coffee shops, boutiques, antiques) and just a short drive from Finley Farms and the Ozark Park Trail for enjoying local attractions. I'm going to save this listing as a favorite for a future weekend getaway because I know my friends will love it, too.

This cottage was absolutely perfect for our stay in Ozark! From the moment we arrived, the cozy vibes and peaceful atmosphere had us feeling right at home. The neighborhood was so quiet at night, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The big yard was a huge bonus, especially for our pup who had plenty of space to run around! The location is ideal—safe, calm, and so close to everything. We were just a short walk or drive away from delicious local restaurants and charming family-owned shops. Grocery stores and shopping centers are nearby, making it super convenient for anything we needed. Plus, the cottage is only 1 block from Ozark City Hall, and the police and fire stations are just 2 blocks away, which made us feel extra secure. If you're looking for a serene retreat with easy access to everything Ozark has to offer, this is the spot. Highly recommend it!
