We stayed 14 days in the old village of Sykologos and felt completely comfortable. We didn't miss anything, the decor is tasteful and high quality. Shortly after we arrived , Andreas greeted us kindly with fresh bread and pastries. He guided us through his house and showed us around and explained everything. There were delicious,local delicacies in the fridge. We've never had anything like this! We communicated with Andreas from time to time during our stay. He is very attentive and tries to make sure his guests don't miss anything. You have to be aware that you always need a car to get to the beautiful beaches and tavernas. But it's worth it! If you appreciate the peace ,the solitude and the still real Greece with its people and habits, this is the place to be! We will be back!

This place is very remote, but with 50m from the sea it is really a magical place. Unfortunately, we only spent 5 nights there, but would have preferred to stay longer. House is not so special, but the location absolutely is. With 100% privacy, you are 50 m from the sea with only a few houses nearby that are certainly not permanently occupied. With Sitia 15m away, you are also back in the inhabited world, with all amenities available. In short, highly recommended if you like peace and space. Kallia is really a treasure, the house is tip top, and she even cooked the first night for us because we hadn't done any shopping yet. Will definitely come back

If you want to treat your body and soul to a soothing break, this is the place to be. Wonderful location, beautiful ambiance and likeable hosts. We will be happy to come back!

What words should we find for this excellent house, spotless, well equipped, furnished with taste, with unobstructed views of the sea and the mountains of Lasithi. The Apostolis impeccable host,very friendly, very kind and always willing to serve us. We wish him and his family to be well and to rejoice in their home. We hope we can come back for more days

Snorkelling paradise! Nikos and the Stone House were both great. The house is small, but has everything you need, with the pool and BBQ area where we spent most of our time, and the steps down to the sea lead to a perfect spot for snorkelling, where we saw all sorts of types of sea life. Nikos was there with everything we needed, including recommendations of beaches / restaurants etc. Ierepetra is a much nicer town than people say and the Stone House is a 5 minute drive into town. You could walk, but we didn't. Would highly recommend!

We were very pleased. When we arrived, the refrigerator was filled to the top, which was very helpful to us. We were able to eat it for several days. Due to the low season, the taverns were unfortunately closed and we always had to move the car to find one. That wasn't entirely clear to us in advance. The place is ideally located to explore the east and the surrounding cities. On the roof terrace you could easily spend an afternoon in the sun and in the evening there was fantastic light at sunset. We didn't lack anything. Everywhere you go, you'll find little gadgets or board games. Only the small bathroom and the very soft beds on the upper floor were not quite to our liking, but the rest of the place was so nice that you could easily overlook that. We got tips for the area and the landlady was always available. We recommend the place!

Beautiful place, matches the pictures. The apartment is very clean and the furniture and dishes etc. are as good as new. We were provided with a welcome basket with some Cretan snacks, as well as some honey and wine from Manolis & Despina. The refrigerator was also filled with bread, cold cuts, fruit and water. The property is located a bit off the city center but is relatively quick to reach by car. Only the road to the house is easy to overlook on the first approach and the way up is a bit bumpy. Once at the top, you can't complain about an absolutely fantastic view of the sea and the bay opposite, as well as the tranquility. I highly recommend this place to everyone. A gem and a beautiful retreat in southern Crete. The villa has everything your heart desires, a beautiful view, pool and a modern kitchen that makes every heart of a hobby cook beat faster. I will miss the morning and evening bath in the pool with the view. Since it has almost no light pollution, you can see a starry sky and the Milky Way with the naked eye. Secluded beaches are easily accessible by car within 30 minutes, so a car is highly recommended. Doesn't have to be an SUV. Sam is available at any time and communicates very quickly. Furthermore, he or Lefteris are always available with tips and advice. Sam and Anel are more than super hosts and I can recommend their villa villa 200%.
