Country home & lush gardens "Casa Cantarana"

If you are a nature lover who enjoys a country, somewhat rustic-style home, this is the place for you. It wasn't easy to find (don't follow Waze's directions...), but we finally found it with Michealyn's direction. We didn't have time to enjoy the garden since we were busy every day with activities (Semuc Champey is a MUST!). But if you have more time on your hands, it is a great place to relax with nature outside your door. a few tips to make the stay better: The dogs are friendly, but after the first night, where they barked all night long right under the bedroom window, my advice is to ask to take them off the premises for your stay. The host easily did it. If the internet is down (which happens every few hours), unplug it and plug it back and it will work. Ask the host how to get the hot water in the shower (it's a little trick). All in all, Michaelyn was quick to respond and the housekeepers were a great help as well.

My stay at B’antiox was simply amazing. I could not be happier I got to meet Brian, Silvia and Paulina and their lovely pets. I was welcomed into their home as if I was part of the family whilst maintaining autonomy and space to keep to myself when needed. They somehow knew exactly what I was looking for when coming to Semuc and I cannot put into words how grateful I am for these few days (and nights! look at the moon! and the stars!), all of their advise and opportunities to spend time in the area (I recommend the chocolate making class with Elvira and her sweet family!). The treehouse is a stunning piece of architecture and provides an incredible atmosphere and views. I slept like a baby and enjoyed the bird songs everyday. The whole property is spotlessly clean. I felt secure, at home and absolutely in the right place at all times. Paulina you’re a master chef! Thank you to all three of you, this was a unique time for me, I appreciate it so so much and I will never forget this.

If you’re looking for a peaceful place to relax and have a wonderful time with your family and friends, I couldn’t recommend a better place to choose..! I travel a lot and quite frankly… This place beats any of the places I’ve stayed at before! Coban is beautiful, green, peaceful, this place put “icing on the cake” to my experience! Located close to Cemuc Champey which was my final destination… Best place ever!!!!

One of the things that drew me to Coban was going on a Quetzal Bird Watching Tour. This comfortable spacious apartment was the perfect place to unwind and do that from. A nice relaxing sofa and dining area. A kitchen and washer were also a big plus 👍 Noelia was super helpful in all the questions I had. As a bonus, it’s just a short walk to the Parque Nacional Las Victorias. Much Thanks Noelia!!!

The place was great! It was big with plenty of space for the family and kids. We loved the setup of the home. And the flowers were beautiful that the host had for us when we arrived. We would recommend this place.

We loved the house really is a comfortable place, quickly the person who gives the keys is very friendly. We liked that in the kitchen there were truffles that are useful. We didn't feel like At Home, thank you. We would choose this house again

Very nice place to relax. For the price it is great!! It's nothing fancy inside, but it's clean and has everything you need. Very quick communication with the host and the check-in/check-out of the place was super practical. Close enough to the village to get food. No problem with our dogs (as long as they respect the animals of the place) Thank you so much!!!
