Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Chincoteague Bay

We love our stay here! The house had everything we needed and more. It was easy to find, and the views were amazing. We spent the whole time outside in the nature, and we loved how quiet it was. Kevin was easy to reach for any questions we had, and we appreciated his help. We would definitely come back here in the future.

What a find! We were attending a wedding on the Potomac and found this gem of a place basically right next door. A perfectly appointed home in a peaceful, tranquil, beautiful setting. Connie was great! Responsive to our need to find the iron, not exactly an emergency, Connie responded immediately with it's location. Loved it!

This was our second time staying at Kimberly’s home, and it was just as magical as we remembered. The views of the water are absolutely stunning—whether you’re enjoying your morning coffee or winding down in the evening, it’s hard to look away. The location is perfect: peaceful but just a short walk to shops and restaurants. We also really appreciated the Peloton and treadmill—such a bonus for staying active during our trip. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Fully Renovated from top to bottom. Bright, warm and pleasant decor. Felt right at home. Super convenient location and only a few minutes from the University. Will definitely stay again!

This place had a great location; it was less than 10 minutes for the local restaurants and only a 15 drive to the beach. The kitchen had everything you needed, there was plenty of space for atleast 6 people (even though there was just the two of us). The airbnb itself was really charming. Host was amazing, really responsive and communicative. Their checkin and checkout procedures were really clear. My only “asterisk” is that since it is an older house and in the middle of a marshland basically, it was pretty humid inside. It seems normal for the area especially considering it was raining half of our stay. The AC boxes in every room definitely helped but just something to note about our stay. I’d recommend a dehumidifier to the hosts. Overall a great stay, would recommend this place to all when staying in Chincoteague!!

We had a great time staying at Heather’s place! It was kid friendly, spacious, and clean. Our kids loved the bunk bed and big backyard :) there are lots of restaurants and breakfast places within a 5 minute drive too! We hope to be back again when weather is warmer!

Scott and Melinda's place was perfect for a peaceful getaway for our family of 5. The water was so nice to wake up to and fall asleep hearing the water move by! The thought of all the basic needs and had everything easily accessible from fresh eggs from their chickens, a great variety of coffee pods and creamer, and all the other small needs that come up while staying in an airbnb. This was great since it is off the beaten path. If you are looking for some peaceful family time or a secluded retreat with friends, this is a perfect place!

Eric’s place is wonderful in a very quaint neighborhood! Communication with Eric was excellent. The home is very comfortable and accommodating for families and large groups visiting. We were in town checking out the DC sites and the proximity from the home to the Glenmont Metro was close and easy. The kitchen is well equipped with just about every appliance or cooking utensil you could need to whip up a meal. There’s two washer and dryers and plenty of towels which is really convenient for large groups. The backyard hot tub was nice for relaxing especially after a 20,000 step day exploring DC (phew!) I would most definitely recommend this home and host!

This is a great place to stay and tour the DC Metro area - provided you have a car. Most days it would take us 30 minutes to get to and from DC though if we hit rush-hour, it was as long as an hour. The space is tidy and great. My kids love the pool, though it was a little cold for me-they swam there every night. Jennifer is great to communicate if you have any needs she gets stuff done right away. Note that there is only one bathroom, which can be a pain if you have a full house of six people. The washer and dryer are small so it will take you longer if you’re used to a full size. She had all the cooking methods and appliances available. The theater room has Netflix and Amazon prime ready for you to watch a show. There is even a popcorn maker. We did not use the gym, but it was nice - comparable to a small hotel gym. Property is in the owner’s basement, so there is some sound from upstairs as identified in the listing. Host stays out of your way but is there if you need anything.

Dale’s Airbnb was perfectly appointed with everything we needed for our stay. Lots of special touches throughout the dwelling. A great outdoor space in the front of the house that is surrounded by a perfectly manicured garden area, along with a private patio off the back bedroom. Totally perfect areas to enjoy the many selections of coffees he’s kindly provided. The neighborhood is located close to lots of fun restaurants and is easy to navigate to all the DC monuments. The only regret we had was that we didn’t book for a longer stay.. We’re already looking forward to returning.. Oh, And by the way.. we loved linens so much I asked Dale for the “insider” tip on where he purchased them.. I’m hoping to have as great a nights sleep as I did at his place!!

Cute little place! We stayed for less than 24 hours while my husband participated in the "Escape the Cape Triathlon," so we didn’t get to enjoy it fully, but it was exactly as described and very clean. Parking was a little tricky, as our unit was in the back and the front unit’s vehicle was blocking the driveway when we arrived. Normally, I would have knocked to ask them to move it, but since we had a super early 5:30 AM checkout, we just parked on the street. Street parking is free, you just have to be lucky to find a spot nearby, which we managed to do twice. The walls are pretty thin, so you can hear people talking or walking around upstairs, but it wasn’t overly loud or disruptive. Best part? It’s only about three blocks from the boardwalk—a great spot for an evening stroll and some ice cream. Overall, a great little place for a quick stay in Cape May!

Anne's place was just spectacular! Perfect for 2 couples as our home-base to explore Williamsburg, Yorktown and Jamestown. The high end furnishings are beautiful. The patio, yard and lake view were wonderful. We enjoyed the theater room each night. Thank you for a great vacation.

Stayed here for two nights, Micheal was an impeccable host. The place was just as described, near to everything, and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.

My partner and I had a lovely weekend in Chestertown at Beth & Bob’s cottage apartment! They really went the extra mile to make sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. There were so many thoughtful touches to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. We also loved walking through their beautiful garden. I’m certain we’ll be back again, and we highly recommend this cozy and relaxing spot!

Absolutely loved this little place. Fantastic location and just right for a mother-daughter getaway. The unit is very private and super well-designed with a ton of smart storage solutions. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. Would 100% book again!

Beautiful home, so much natural light! Keep in mind that it is up 3 flights of stairs as well as stairs coming from the driveway to the front door. Great area, slightly away from downtown. Sherin was very communicative and a great host!

This is truly one of the most beautiful homes I have ever been inside. The host was beyond helpful and made me feel very welcome. if I had a complaint it would be having to check out. This stay was truly worth every dollar spent

We had a wonderful stay celebrating family birthdays! The house was spacious and had plenty of bathrooms. It was decorated beautifully for the holidays. We especially enjoyed the porches overlooking the spectacular views!

We were a group of three couples who wanted our own bedroom and private bathroom to retreat to after enjoying busy days and evenings around Colonial Williamsburg. We really enjoyed the location of Kingsmill and all of the spacious condo amenities!

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home! It was clean and comfortable. My family felt right at home. There were beach chairs, paddle boards and even crockpots available for our use. The pictures online do not show the beauty of this home. Would definitely recommend to stay in this home.

The community around Beth’s condo is amazing. Nice and quiet but still close enough to everything to where it’s not a hassle to get there! Plenty of space inside the condo so people don’t feel crammed! Sits on a beautiful golf course! Can’t recommend this condo enough!

Our family enjoyed our vacation and stay in Judie’s home. She was a very responsive host throughout our stay. The home had everything we needed and more- which made things very convenient for us. The kitchen was well equipped, the rooms were all comfy and cozy and very clean. Bathrooms had all toiletries including makeup remover! We literally did not need to pack any towels from home because Judie had everything! We traveled with two kids ages 3 and 4 so the fact that she had beach toys and chairs for them and a wagon in the garage for us to use was very convenient. It was overall less things I had to worry about packing. We love the Bishop’s Landing community pools; the one pool is within a short walking distance from Judie’s home. The location to stores and restaurants are easy and quick as well. This is our second year staying in Bishop’s Landing and we hope to be back again. Judie’s home would be at the top of our list.

It was a quiet and lovely space with a ton of amenities (pool, mini golf) and close to downtown Williamsburg and local and state parks. The kitchen was great! Some of the other appliances inside were less quiet (vacuum, washing machine, dryer), but it was nice to have the appliances!

Our family stayed here for our spring break and had a wonderful time. Anthony’s home was incredible, beautifully maintained, and well-stocked. It is evident the moment you step inside, that every detail was thought of. The hot tub was AMAZING!!! and our dog enjoyed the big fenced yard…such a perk! We appreciated the binder with a list of favorite activities and restaurant menus…LOVED Fish & Fancy!!! Best crab cakes and Old Bay fries :) The home is within 15 minutes of both Cape May and Wildwoods… great location. Thanks so much your time and attention in making our trip truly memorable. We’ll definitely rent this house again!
