House vacation rentals in Chincoteague Bay

What a find! We were attending a wedding on the Potomac and found this gem of a place basically right next door. A perfectly appointed home in a peaceful, tranquil, beautiful setting. Connie was great! Responsive to our need to find the iron, not exactly an emergency, Connie responded immediately with it's location. Loved it!

Beautiful spot! Great location, close to all the happenings of Ocean City, but peaceful and quiet at the house…perfect set up. Great neighborhood. The house is beautiful, all the beds very comfortable. The back deck is gorgeous, thoroughly enjoyed that space and taking the kayaks out on the canal! It’s worth bringing your own linens and towels, we packed everything into a large tote and it worked out perfectly. Very responsive and friendly host! We had a great time here and plan to return. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful hosts!! Very responsive and helpful. There might have been an issue with the lockbox so they called ahead to make sure we could get in! I will definitely be booking with Shawn and Terri again!

We had a great time staying at Heather’s place! It was kid friendly, spacious, and clean. Our kids loved the bunk bed and big backyard :) there are lots of restaurants and breakfast places within a 5 minute drive too! We hope to be back again when weather is warmer!

We had a really nice stay at the Rose Retreat! The home is wonderfully appointed with nice furnishings. We especially appreciated the well stocked kitchen with upscale drink and dinnerware. The hand written welcome note, bottle of wine and snacks were so thoughtful - thank you! A perfect location from which to enjoy Irvington and the surrounding towns. We hope to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the pool!

Maria’s space was a perfect getaway! The house is clean and welcoming! They even had pet bows and toys which I thought was so sweet! Maria was very kind and responsive and gave a lot of great recommendations ! We had Brenda come to the house for a private dinner, and she was also amazing ❤️ 10/10 would stay here again

Stayed for the weekend after Thanksgiving and it was a great experience. The house was cozy, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom shower was awesome. The best part of the house is the view out over the bay. It’s really peaceful and a great spot to have coffee and watch the sunrise. We will definitely stay here again!

My husband and I went to this "home" with another couple for several days of peace and quiet. The home and its location were definitely what we were looking for during our short stay. The kitchen was fully stocked which was great since I forgot certain spices for our planned meals. Our initial excursion was to Fort Miles at Camp Henlopen for a tour of the defensive setup along the coast during WWII. The tour was excellent, and with Laura's recommendation we returned to Camp Henlopen's beach for two days of sun and relaxation. This location is close to Lewes and Rehoboth Beach with plenty of restaurants and things to do on the boardwalk if that is something you are interested in doing. Laura was responsive to all emails we sent during our stay. We would definitely return to this home if our travels took us that way.

We love our stay here! The house had everything we needed and more. It was easy to find, and the views were amazing. We spent the whole time outside in the nature, and we loved how quiet it was. Kevin was easy to reach for any questions we had, and we appreciated his help. We would definitely come back here in the future.

Such a beautiful home! It also was very cozy and peaceful. The beach and pier is a nice walk away and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing. Host was very friendly and responsive if we needed anything. I will most definitely be staying here again!

Highly recommend! The setting on the river is so beautiful and charming. The house was immaculate and very well equipped so very very comfortable. The host were friendly and accessible to everyone want or question.

We've visited Chincoteague many times, but this was the closest we have ever stayed to town. We absolutely LOVED being able to walk to many of our favorite spots like Amarin and Island Creamery. We also enjoyed shopping at Saturday's farmer's market right down the street. The house was private and serene - a true chef's kiss. Dinner on the back deck was perfection. I told my husband so many times I wish we stayed longer, so take it from me - book that extra day! We will definitely be back.

This place had a great location; it was less than 10 minutes for the local restaurants and only a 15 drive to the beach. The kitchen had everything you needed, there was plenty of space for atleast 6 people (even though there was just the two of us). The airbnb itself was really charming. Host was amazing, really responsive and communicative. Their checkin and checkout procedures were really clear. My only “asterisk” is that since it is an older house and in the middle of a marshland basically, it was pretty humid inside. It seems normal for the area especially considering it was raining half of our stay. The AC boxes in every room definitely helped but just something to note about our stay. I’d recommend a dehumidifier to the hosts. Overall a great stay, would recommend this place to all when staying in Chincoteague!!

This was a great place to get away for some peace and quiet. We had a lacrosse tournament in Berlin and the field was 15 minutes away. Beautiful home and very cozy. Very easy check in and Brenda was very quick to answer any question. Totally worth it!

My husband and I booked a last minute anniversary trip and Denise's home was absolutely perfect. This little home was everything that you could want and more for peace and relaxation. Denise was helpful and responsive and accomodated a very late night check in with no problems!

Our family has a beach house in Ocean Pines, and we are looking to purchase our own in the coming years. We have stayed in all parts of ocean Pines and love it so much, we came across this house a couple months ago and I’m so glad we did! We spend most of the summer in Ocean Pines had different rentals and will definitely be coming back specifically to this one!! it’s perfect for our small family and pet friendly! The house was small but spacious, quiet and tranquil. 10/10 highly recommend!

We were in for our nieces graduation from SU and this was the perfect place to stay. It reminded me so much of home! It was peaceful and relaxing. It was so nice I wish we had been able to spend more time there! Susan was an exceptional host. She was very informative, gave us helpful tips, and was very friendly. We had a great week! The house is on the bay and has a beautiful view from many rooms. The screened-in porches are awesome. The house is clean and as described. The kitchen is clean and well-furnished. I started every day with a cup of tea in a rocker (provided) at the end of the dock. I was unsure if my 4 boys in their 20's would be happy and they were. It was a time to enjoy each other. We went swimming, used the paddle boards, rode the bikes and played games at night. You are about 30 mins from Berlin a fun little town and 40 mins to West Ocean City(we went their 2x for dinner). Claire is so nice and very responsive. Between her and Mike we were well taken care of. They work at a Marina 5mins. down the road. We ordered crabs, clams and corn. They cook it, will deliver it and helped us out with how many to get. The house has the utensils needed. It was a lot a fun and highly recommend giving it a go. The home is warm and exudes love of family.

Creek Retreat is a perfect place to kick back and relax. Surrounded by nature, a private oasis. The space is well appointed, clean and comfortable. Tastefully decorated. Added amenities and attention to details elevate the experience. Enjoy kayaking and sitting by the fire. Georgia is a great hostess and is proactive and responsive. If you're looking for a getaway, book it here!

Book it! Better than the photos and description as it comes fully stocked with everything you need to enjoy the beach and the bay - beach chairs, sand toys, kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets, and more. We pulled up for our 4 night stay and never needed to leave. Perfect entertainment for young family with small children and grandparents. Host is stellar - very accommodating and responsive. This rental is a little piece of heaven

My family & I had a great time at Ryan's place. Everything was wonderful, starting with the communication with Ryan. The house was as pictured and felt at home immediately. The upstairs was a perfect area for kids to play with toys already provided. Our family really enjoyed the board games as we had a rainy day on friday and this kept us occupied. If we are ever in the area we would certainly try to book Ryan's place again.

We had such a wonderful stay at Lisa and Jay’s beautiful carriage house in Lewes, DE! The cottage and the surrounding grounds were absolutely stunning—peaceful, beautifully maintained, and full of charm. From the moment we arrived, Lisa and Jay were incredibly welcoming and responsive, making us feel right at home on their property. It’s clear they’ve put so much care into creating a space that’s both comfortable and memorable. We would absolutely visit again and would love the chance to spend more time hanging out with them—they’re truly lovely hosts! Highly recommended.

Our family had a perfect visit to Chincoteague for the first time on Mother’s Day weekend. The cottage checks all the boxes: it’s clean, comfortable, charming, and walkable to everything you need. Sherry was also a wonderful host - very responsive to all my questions and requests!
