Family-friendly vacation rentals in Chillum

This home was a little more than others we considered but you get what you pay for. It was so nicely furnished, comfortable, and clean. The location was great, close to markets and restaurants. We were close to the most popular things to see and do but since we had little ones, we could drive very easily. There is a playground right across the street. We could also park right across the street or around the corner. Liza responded promptly to questions and was very easy to communicate with. The guys enjoyed the rooftop and the view was amazing! We are a family of five adults, one child and baby. I highly recommend this home and we certainly hope to stay here again. You will be pleased with this choice.

Eric is an amazing host and person! Super friendly when it came to using the amenities and made us feel at home. Has great recommendations for food and local attractions. Beautiful property to walk around or just sit outside! Overall a 10/10 experience while staying at Eric’s home, couldn’t have asked for a better host for our weekend!

This was a very great find. Affordable for the part of the city we were in. Lots of energy and activity around the area, with plenty of places to eat/drink within a few block radius. Close to everything you need to be close to downtown. Easy check-in process. Beautiful, clean apartment. All in all, a wonderful spot to stay.

My sisters and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rana's house. The neighborhood reminded us of our neighborhood in Georgia. It was comfortable, and very convenient to all the attractions A home away from home. It was also a pleasure working with the host, Rana responded in a timely manner and took care of all our needs. I would highly recommend this property.

Super nice place. Probably the most well stocked place we’ve stayed at. Walkable to everything and still in a quiet location. Bathroom was spacious and clean! Hot tub in the courtyard was a nice touch. Parking was a little short to come by but we always found a spot on Baltimore St right next to Patterson Park. Charmed Coffee was a great place for coffee and breakfast…dog friendly! 10/10.

Very nice place to stay near Gaylord convention center. Super clean condo. All the essentials are there. Lots to do at the resort as well as nearby walking distance. Having a baby in the group we did quite a bit of laundry. A laundry room was on our floor with two washers and four dryers and free of charge. We barely passed anyone on the seventh floor. We would def stay here again.

I had an amazing experience staying at this townhouse in Washington, DC! The home was stylishly decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. What really set this stay apart was the host. He was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect—from thoughtful check-in instructions to last minute parking accomindation. I highly recommend this townhouse to anyone visiting DC and would gladly stay here again on my next trip!

A fantastic find in a perfect neighborhood! The bed was super comfortable, and the space felt incredibly homey. It’s easily accessible by both bus and metro, and the walk from the metro was genuinely enjoyable thanks to the lovely atmosphere. Chris went above and beyond with his recommendations for local restaurants and activities. We tried a few, including Beau Thai, which was absolutely delightful! The BnB is located right behind the Smithsonian Zoo, which was a fun bonus. Overall, we couldn’t recommend this place enough for your DC trip!

Really enjoyed staying at this location, very convenient and close to restaurants and public transport. Great to bring your fur babies, probably best for smaller dogs. You should just be aware there is like no grass in DC before you bring your pets lol! Overall a great experience and the location was so clean with not much noise surprisingly for the area.

What a beautiful little spot of heaven at the end of the long driveway nicely tucked back with orioles, bunnies and even two kitties running around outside, inside is the so quaint and comfy and clean. The view out the windows gave peace and the fireflies at night were so cool. Stanley went above and beyond to be accommodating on our trip and his place is top notch. 10/10 would stay again

David and Elizabeth’s place was perfect for my fiancé and our dog Kai. We attended a music festival at RFK and it was a short drive away. We actually ended up riding scooters back because it is so close by! There are so many restaraunts and things to do within walking distance. Check-in was super easy and it’s a very homey, comfortable space. The kitchen has a small fridge, toaster oven, microwave and hot plate with pots, pans, and everything you need to prepare a basic meal. We were able to set our dogs crate up (he’s a medium sized husky) perfectly and still had plenty of space to move around. Finding street parking was super easy and close by. You can hear noise from above at times for sure… ear plugs and a night time noise machine are provided to help. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Francisco was incredibly help, responsive and a great host. The apartment was perfect for and well appointed, clean and well decorated. The neighborhood is so charming and lots to explore, close to restaurants, stores and groceries. I highly recommend this for your next trip to D.C.!!

Absolutely loved this space. The location is great and allows for exploration of the city. The space itself was clean and spacious. My favorite piece was having access to the gym within the Fairmount hotel (if im not mistaken). Lastly, host(s) are extremely responsiveness. I had questions about the property prior to booking as i was booking extremely last minute and I received a quick response.

Calvin's place was exactly what we needed and much more. It was described accurately, yet exceeded expectations with tiny details. For example, there was not only coffee and tea available, but creamer in the fridge, too. We had a peaceful night sleep and a nice shower. I recommend this place to anyone needing a quiet space to work and stay in the area.

Greg’s place was very clean and in a great location. Walkable to markets, restaurants, and metro. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. It was a great place to stay during our family vacation to DC!

Nathan has a lovely home—it feels like stepping back in time into one of old Washington’s charming houses. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and communication with Nathan was excellent. The location is convenient, about a 25-minute walk to Capitol Hill. While the surrounding area could be better—the streets were a bit dirty—it wasn’t a big deal and didn’t affect our overall experience. We had a wonderful time in Washington, and staying at this house was definitely part of it. Thank you, Nathan!

This condo is highly recommended. The host is very easy to work with and provides beautiful and comfortable accommodations. The condo is incredibly close to the Friendship Heights Metro stop along with a list of other shops, restaurants, and grocers. The building is easy to navigate and quiet. Everyone really keeps to themselves. I truly enjoyed my stay, felt safe, and would absolutely stay here again.

Martha's place is a lovely retreat. There is enough privacy between the main house and the guest house. The guest house is spacious and comfortable with a great screened in porch and access to the pool. It's in a quiet and peaceful area. I look forward to coming back again.
