Great cottage very well located in the area in relation to castles and zoo. The view of nature from the veranda is just amazing and allows you to rest in peace. Tastefully decorated and well-equipped house for the whole family. Our daughter and our dog and ourselves were very delighted. We would definitely recommend this property.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful and quirky house overlooking the Loire. The home is full of character and charm, with thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel both unique and welcoming. Every room has its own personality, and we loved discovering the little details that made the space so special. The views over the river were absolutely stunning—whether enjoying a quiet morning coffee or watching the sunset in the evening, the scenery was always breathtaking. The location is peaceful and ideal for exploring the Loire Valley, yet still close enough to shops, vineyards, and picturesque villages. Our host was warm, responsive, and clearly passionate about sharing this lovely home. It’s a perfect place to relax, unwind, and soak in the beauty of the region. Highly recommended—we’d love to return!

We had a great time at Alain's, the garden is beautiful with a beautiful collection of plants and a soothing view of the pond. Small haven of peace close to the forest in which you can tirelessly return, enclosed garden very convenient if you come with a dog, pellet stove very pleasant in the evening, even late May😊, great attention and responsiveness. Really great, I came to recharge and I hope to be able to do it again! Just to know (I don't know if it's written), no door to the large bedroom upstairs so to know if people are sleeping on the couch downstairs. But perfect for one or two!

we had a great time at Cour Cheverny, the house is a 5-minute walk from the village with convenient local shops. The accommodation was very pleasant and well-equipped and the house remained cool despite the very high temperatures. The children enjoyed the garden. We were able to easily visit the castles around, Alain gave us a lot of practical and useful information that helped us.

Wonderful, discrete hosts. Great house with large, private, fenced off space. Access to the forest directly outside of the property which was ideal for dogs. Loved the area with close proximity to all the castles of the Loire, just wish we had more time to enjoy this area for a bit longer. Big thanks again for hosting us, it is greatly appreciated ❤️

A wonderful family weekend in this fabulous place! There's nothing missing! The cottage is superb, the environment is perfect. We were lucky enough to have great sunshine, which allowed us to fully enjoy the pool and garden. Close to places of interest. Excellent stay at Frédéric's spacious and peaceful place! Convenient location and easy to find, parking is specially provided. Childcare equipment is also available and there are some games in the garden. Happy hosting your family.

We stayed here for a week with a group of 12 and found the home to be perfectly sized. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out if wanted and still enough spaces for us all to come together. The grounds and area in general are stunning and very peaceful. You absolutely need a car to get around to anything. The nearest towns are small and charming and Tours is only about 40min away. It's important to note the second floor has 2 showers, so the bedrooms with the single beds (pink and green) must share with the turquoise room, or walk through the blue room to use theirs. The water is hot but the top floor has low pressure if anyone else is showering. The house and furnishings show their age but it's very comfortable and charming. All of Pierre's recommendations were lovely - we did the carriage ride and hired a private chef (Morgan) both with great success. I would definitely recommend the stay again it was such a relaxing week and a great hub to all the Loire chateaux.

It's a really peaceful house where you can find everything you need for a pleasant stay. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped, books, games, a stove to warm up. The decor is cute . The pool is well heated and large. The garden is beautiful!! Very well maintained and there is an enchanted atmosphere with animals and water points. Our kids loved the little barge and my son is more than delighted to have been able to fish. Thank you for hosting us and for your kindness. We want to come back next time.

Pleasant stay in Faverolles sur Cher with Jérémy and Kim. Friendly and available hosts. Well placed for tourist getaways to the castles of the Loire Valley. We appreciated the cleanliness of the place when we arrived. A bunch of friends gathered for New Year's Eve.

We booked 2 nights at Jean Paul and Ghislaine's to visit Beauval Zoo, (the park is 20 minutes by car) really friendly owner, accommodation that is out of the ordinary, change of scenery and serenity. Excellent!

We had a lovely family reunion thanks to Didier and his wonderful property. The kids loved the pool and ping pong table. The house feels like a home away from home and the kitchen is fully equipped. The location is peaceful yet convenient for trips to Blois, Tours, Orleans and its beautiful castles. Highly recommend and would come back.

Ideal house for our 2 families with children. Spacious home with lots of outdoor games. The hot tub is lovely. The house is in a very good location for visiting the surroundings (Chateau de Cheverny, Blois...). We'll be happy to go back!

Had a pleasant stay at Isabelle's. I was wonderfully welcomed and advised for visits during my stay. The accommodation is in a very good location for visiting the castles of the Loire Valley. Accommodation as described and nice for a few days.

I cannot recommend this home more. Arnaud was the most welcoming host, inviting us to dine with his family and learn about the history of the house. He was thoughtful and kind. I wish we’d had more time to talk! I know that we’ll be back. The weather was typical Loire spring (on and off rain, hot afternoons followed by cool evenings) and I’d love to come again and spend even longer here. I didn’t get enough of the gardens and walking along the property. It’s also so easy to get to anywhere you need to go for riding bikes or visiting cathedrals or chateaux. I can’t recommend it enough!

Phenomenal in every way. Location, details, peacefulness, proximity to the castles of the area and charming cities and towns. 100% recommended. We have no words to thank the host Cécile for the effort she made to ensure that before we arrived, the land was completely fenced so we could stay with our dog. Thank you very much for everything and if we can come back another time, we would be happy to stay again in this cozy loft.

Quiet house with a beautiful green space nearby, access to the pool is self-contained , possibility to see deer on the back of the house. Martine is a responsive shame by message, who likes to welcome us upon arrival and give us a tour of the owner. Strawberries upon arrival, a bit of valley on the table, a ticket for the parking lot of the Château de Chambord, a bed already made... these small gestures make Martine a very attentive host. It is also good advice about restaurants, activities or tips in the area

Small cottage with a cozy feel, very well decorated and very pleasant to stay in🙂. The hosts are very welcoming. The space was very clean. I recommend this cottage for 1 couple or 1 couple with a child who would like to discover this beautiful region and visit the must-sees that are not very far away. The large enclosed garden is a great plus for our animal friends. Thanks for this great stay🙂.

We spent 2 nights at the Le Petit Ébat hangar. Isabelle was very welcoming, and was available. The optional dinner tray was hearty and very good. The location of the accommodation is ideal for visiting the castles of the Loire and Beauval Zoo.
