The best break away if you want beautiful scenery, a peaceful and tranquil cabin and location. Mark was a super responsive and helpful and an all round great host! The cabin itself is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need! It was perfect for both children and dogs! Could not recommend this enough and would love to come back in the future. Wonderful few days here celebrating our 10yr wedding anniversary. The pod was brilliant with everything we could have needed and the perfect spot to combine relaxation and exploring! We enjoyed a meal and No.11 Ruthin one night and ventured to Aber falls for a circular walk the following day. The pod provided the ideal space to rest and recharge surrounded by beautiful scenery. Would definitely recommend! X

what a brilliant set up this is, if off grid camping is what you want then you need to try here, this place is in a stunning location with all the basics for camping, you really get the woodland camping experience, nothing to flashy but all the comforts you need to have a great time, any issues and joe responds within minutes and is likely to have you back up and running within the hour. could not recommend this place enough for anyone that is looking for (wild camp) experience with a twist i will definatly return in the future

We found Wigwam listings after scrolling through loads on Airb&b. The place was absolutely stunning. Inside the cabin was lovely and clean. Hot tub was lite before we arrived. The only small thing I would say that the bbq could do with a good clean and fixing up as we had trouble keeping the bottom door closed. Heather was great in meeting us outside and showing us around. Great at responding to messages. I would return again for a long weekend get away.

wow what a place! the lodge was fantastic, great peaceful location and private too. the lodge was clean, large and felt right at home. jason also put up balloons for our anniversary, alongside a goodie box, was such a nice touch. the surroundings were gorgeous with a hot tub to top it off. can’t recommend highly enough. will definitely be back! thankyou!!! A girls night away in the cabins and we wanted to stay forever longer! When we arrived we were so shocked by how stunning it was, so quiet with only the sound of the river and the most stylish cabins and good sized hot tub. It had everything we could've needed and a very high tech air fryer. Anthony was very responsive and friendly and came out in the evening to fix a lightbulb for us. The hot tub was beautifully clean and a lovely temperature. I have sent links to all my friends and family because you must see this place! Thank you so much, and we will be back! Xx

Brilliant place for a re set if thats what your looking for as we were. Outdoor bath was amazing, views beautiful, canin really cute and comfy. Firepit was lovely too. The other 4 cabins are closeby but you do manage to get your privacy. Dont hesitate its fab!!

Simply, stunning location, nestled in the nether regions of North Wales, amongst so much beautiful nature and countryside. Easily accessible to lots of wonderful attractions within the area and the two chaps looking after the grounds were a fantastic help. I can’t wait to return and actually want to live there!!!

Pheasant lodge was the perfect stopover stay, the night before a wedding at the local Peckforton Castle! The lodge was situated at the bottom of the Bickerton Poacher Pub campsite in a corner which added to the private feel! In addition to the lodge being great the actual pub at the top of the campsite was fantastic too, we had a great evening meal a 1min walk (if that) from our doorstep! To check in we just headed into the pub where we were greeted by Grace, who was fantastic! She showed us to the lodge and it was clean and well kept, even better than described! My family (including a 5month old) stayed and it was perfect, an added bonus of having a bath as well as shower for the baby! There were so many added touches too, toiletries in the rooms, towels provided, teabags ect, we were very impressed and surprised by this! We were actually disappointed that we were only staying for one night as it was such a lovely place, we would have loved a little bit more time to explore!

Just done two nights here and had a great time (2 young adults and a dog). Very good value price wise, exactly as seen on pictures, enclosed space for the dog, black out curtains and underfloor heating are a great touch. Downfall was no where to walk with the dog without driving somewhere as we were not comfortable walking on the windy roads with no footpath and the Cinderella toilet took some getting used to for the both of us. Overall would definitely recommend!

Stopped off here for the night for the zoo in the morning. Maureen was very nice and really helpful with directions. Also gave us some historical insight into the zoo. Great host. Great biscuits aswell! Thank Maureen for a lovely stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of my wife’s birthday. It was lovely and peaceful and a great quirky stay! We had a bit of trouble when our naughty spaniel got mud on the bedding, but Peter was very understanding when we got in contact to explain, and was not a problem at all. Would highly recommend staying!

Wow!! What a beautiful, relaxing place to holiday. It was just what we needed. It was better than expected, so many little luxury touches and the bed is so comfortable. Amy was super responsive and friendly and gave us loads of recommendations, our favourite part was sitting in nature all day surrounded by nothing but the sounds of the birds. Would recommend the cabin a million times over. It was perfect.

Cosy and peaceful for a last minute getaway, located conveniently near Whitchurch. Small but very well appointed, pristinely clean and finished to a very high standard. Although muddy, the local Whixall moss is fascinating landscape to visit a short walk from the cottage.

Karen met us at reception and showed us to the caravan and showed us around. Karen allowed us into the caravan early as we weren't sure what traffic was going to be like as it was a bank holiday, very clean, quiet location which is just what we wanted. Karen was contactable if we needed anything, only issue for us was internet very hit and miss. would definitely recommend to others.

The pod was perfect, and well equipped. The hosts communicated very well and were on hand to help and advise if required. The grounds were beautiful for a stroll. Ideal spot for a relaxing break. We paid for the BBQ which was well worth the money as we used it all day. The children loved the open space for running about and playing ball games etc. Would definitely use again

We had a lovely holiday here . The cabin was lovely and so was the hot tub! Apart from a few very minor issues that were dealt with , we were really pleased and it was definitely good value for money . its a great base to go off and explore North Wales with most attractions and beauty spots within an hour! I'd definitely recommend staying here! Staff were also friendly and helpful at all times and the site was very peaceful throughout the day and night.
