Huge private home sitting in a tucked away piece of paradise that any age will enjoy!! If approved you could park10 +vehicles on gravel pad. This is an older home with alot of history, but it is a beautiful gem and works great for multi family gathering or an intimate wedding, anniversary, proposal. The beds are WONDERFUL. The only suggestion is replace the main house living room rug,due to the fibers and fuzz balls it releases in the air when walked on. The last suggestion is maybe a few upgraded pans and kitchen utensils in kitchen. I understand its a Rental and people take and break, but new kitchenware,mixing bowls ect. is a big deal to a family chief when needing in the moment. we definitely look forward to visiting this home& guest house again in the future. THANK YOU BRITTANY for sharing your home with us, and allowing our private last minute, Family Christmas Gathering! best gift ever, just wish we had more time.

I LOVED my time at Tree Tops. Comfy cozy cabin. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings. I especially loved sleeping in the loft; it was magical waking up in the tree tops (thus, the name, I assume). I can only imagine how it is when the trees are in full bloom! I also loved the record player - had forgotten how good records sound. Thank you, Angela.

Perfect place for 3 adults 4 kids to enjoy spring break in a new location. Hosts were very responsive and kind. This was one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. Highly recommend Desoto Falls, and taking the 1.5 hour trip to Cloudland Canyon. The yard was perfect for all the kids to play and the pup to run and enjoy. Thanks for a wonderful spring break and many memories

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was my first time at Weiss Lake. The concierge was accessible and responded to a few calls I had with them in a timely manner. The house was very clean, free of unnecessary clutter, and extremely private. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with essentials however a few things need to be replenished (i.e., no wine opener, minimal kitchen utensils) but otherwise not a big deal. The game room in the garage was a great place for gathering after hours with friends. Would definitely stay there again. Navigating apps (whether your phone or car) would pull up different locations depending on the app. I found that Waze was the most accurate. It was only the last turn or two that our group had to guess a bit but once we found it, it was easy.

The space was super clean and thoughtfully put together. It had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable and the shower had great pressure plus plenty of hot water. The binder was super helpful and had great information about the community, parks and restaurants. Loved our stay!

The cabin was perfect for our family Christmas getaway!! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare great meals. The location is secluded but still close enough to get to stores if you forget something and there is a lot of amazing hiking within a short drive of the cabin. Misti was an amazing host and super proactive in communications and everything was very clear. I would highly recommend! And they decorated for Christmas (even with a tree) so we felt right at home!

Wow! David & Lilly’s cottage was exactly what my family needed. We spent 3 nights and enjoyed the comfort and privacy of this home. My son loved playing the ukelele and my daughter loved having the screened porch day-bed to read Harry Potter on. Our golden retriever loved getting in the creek and woods behind the home. We enjoyed cooking together snd were thankful for how well-stocked the kitchen was with anything you could think of. We enjoyed finding board games to play and books to look at. The host had a sweet welcome note for our family and treats for our dog. My family enjoyed visiting Desoto State Park and doing the ropes course/zip-line. Highly recommend this cottage!

Highly recommend! The cabin is stunning, situated right atop the river - you can hear the river rushing and it’s so serene. It’s in a central location to Desoto State Park & Falls, a perfect spot for Mentone. Jess was incredible. This was my first ever AirBNB experience & I wasn’t sure what to expect, usually being a hotel stayer, but she went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Super friendly & helpful. There was expected severe weather for my stay & she was very communicative with keeping me updated & making sure I felt safe. She was also extremely accommodating with flexible check in & check out times as well as accepting my dog and making sure the place felt cozy & had what we needed. You will not regret your stay here!

My husband and I went there on our 4th wedding anniversary trip and we had a blast! It was perfect for just the two of us. The view of the river was amazing and the scenery was beautiful! We went to Desoto falls and it is definitely worth the visit!! We also went to the Mad Hatter Cafe (it was delicious!) ,the Mentone market and the the little town near it (it has very good ice cream. I recommend the raspberry cheese cake if they have it!) over all we had a amazing trip and will come back again. We definitely recommend!!

We absolutely loved our visit at The Nest! Jeanie's place was perfect for our weekend get- away for our family. We loved all the seating on the deck and the outdoor fire pit and cornhole. My husband and children had a blast using the kayaks. We made many tasty meals and had everything we needed to help us out in the kitchen. The surroundings are so peaceful and close to cute restaurants and Desoto State Park, which we hiked. The family did not want to leave when our trip came to a close. We would definitely like to come back if we get the chance!

We only needed a long weekend stay for a wedding and this location was only 15 minutes from the venue. It was a beautiful setting on the lake as pictured and described. As are stay was in April we were a little early for lake activities, but it looks like a great place to stay during the warmer seasons. The home was clean, lthough we did need to have the porch blow off from all the pollen, but that issue was guickly handled. We stayed with our two adult children and each had a well furnished bedroom with a king bed and plenty of storage.

Joseph and Angie was very responsive and all his animals are very friendly. Our plan is to spend some time with animals and stay away from city life. This place fulfilled our expectation. The house is little old and bathroom doors needs some attention. Other than that, we loved the stay no regrets. Joseph gave additional hours at checkout and this was the first Airbnb who gave check-in early too. They were very generous providing all needful kitchen supplies and grocery, even though we didn't cook much. I will definitely recommend this place for anyone who want to have a secluded and silent environment with farm animals. Their Dogs are so sweet and friendly stayed all time in front of our door and walked with us inside the farm any time. Thanks to Joesph and Angie once again!

We had an absolute blast. Cabin was rustic, beautifully decorated, quiet, peaceful…and the beds were so comfy. It has everything you need. We fished of course but my granddaughter caught several but I didn’t have any luck. Hostess was wonderful and got us settled. Highly recommend this place. Yes the floors were creaky but we made a game of trying to be sneaky. No sneaking up on each other. lol. We loved it.

We had a wonderful stay, and Jessica was kind enough to work with us on some slight scheduling changes. The farm is gorgeous and peaceful, and the house is clean, quiet, and very comfortable. If you want to get away from the city life and slow down, or just have a little bit of peace while spending time with the family, this is a great place to go! Check-in was simple and easy, as was checkout. Jessica was always very responsive, helpful, and informative. One of our favorite things to do was to just sit on the front patio rocking chairs and sip coffee while our toddlers played in the yard. The sunsets are gorgeous! 10/10 would recommend, and would definitely stay there again!

My husband, dog and I had a great time! It’s such a cute place. She obviously put a lot of time and care into the decorations. The TV is huge and the recliners are very comfortable. Leaving us eggs was a special touch! It was easy to get to Cloudland Canyon too.

AWESOME STAY! This is an absolutely beautiful location to stay at if you’re wanting a private, quiet getaway. It’s distance from town is just enough to feel isolated but close enough that it’s no sweat to get to stores or the beautiful sight areas. The hot tub was a hit on our girls trip and the fireplace and tv was perfect! We plan to stay here again!

This was the perfect stay! The home was well appointed, and all the “community” amenities kept us busy! We really felt like we were at a resort when laying by the pool overlooking the lake. I highly recommend Magnolia Overlook. There was even a wedding at the beautiful “Main House” and we would have been none the wiser if Dave hadn’t given a heads up, they were very respectful! We will be back.

This was the perfect home to fit our big bunch of 11! It was a great location to Desoto State Park and the highly anticipated local cafe. Susan was also wonderful in helping us secure the location after a scheduling blunder. Would definitely recommend this place!
