Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Cherbourg-Octeville

We had a pleasant stay at Marion's house in a location that is just exceptional! The house overlooks the Vauville pond and access to the beach is via a bird sanctuary (about 10 min walk). You can also access the village by walking along the pond, there is a restaurant (La Cabane des Tamarins) with grilled meats and wood-fired pizzas. The house has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Small downside, the high chair provided for our baby is certainly pretty (vintage) but does not meet safety standards. The patio is very relaxing with sea views. We also recommend the Vauville garden with its friendly little tea room (and dishes that we did not have the opportunity to taste but restaurant open Monday noon!).

Pleasant stay in quiet and peaceful environment. Check-in time is flexible with a key box available. The cottage is spacious, very well equipped and clean. It has a large garden with a picnic table and barbecue. You can park the car in front of or behind the house, the street is not very busy in the countryside. We highly recommend it.

our arrival at Isabelle's was warm. despite a late arrival, everything was set up so that we did not miss anything from our arrival. Isabelle is another flexible that allowed us to enter the accommodation even when we arrived late. as for the accommodation, it is very pleasant for the children sinceit has a dedicated space upstairs and parents can rest in the master suite moreover😁, Isabelle gave our children a tour of her farm for their greatest happiness. we recommend it with the greatest of pleasures

Clear instructions, a very clean house and faithful to the photos, equipment for our 14-month-old baby at the rendezvous, recommendations on restaurants and activities nearby and even a personalized note about the fridge! Very well-equipped house, 5 minutes walk from the sea and close to beautiful walks. The good tips noted on a notebook are very helpful. Very quiet and relaxing place. We'll be happy to go back!

if I told you that this cottage is remarkably clean. if I tell you that there is no shortage of equipment. if I tell you that the bedding is impeccable. if I tell you that the owners are as friendly as they are responsive. If I tell you that the sea is less than 500 m from the cottage. If I tell you......... anyway, I'll stop my review there, I'm not sure you'll believe me. One thing is certain, I'd go back.

We had a great time in Cotentin, we were hosted very well by Aline and Laurent, they are charming. Our arrival was facilitated by very good communication. The accommodation is impeccable, clean and functional. It is very well located, by the sea, and we were able to enjoy the region, take beautiful walks on the side of Jobourg and on the side of Barneville Carteret. We recommend Aline and Laurent as hosts and their home without any problems, you won't be disappointed!

My mum and I spent 4 nights and Eleonor & Ed's place and it was an amazing stay. Everything was really charming, clean and tidy, the beds were really comfortable and it was quiet at night so perfect to relax after a full day outside. The environment is great (the Royal Jersey Golf Course is 100meters and the sea is 200meters away). You can go to Gorey within 3minutes, to St Helier within less than 15 minutes and to La Corbière Lighthouse within less tha' 30 minutes by car. A gas station is 5minutes away and you can reach a grocery store within 15minutes by foot. I would definitely recommand this place!

We had a great time at Beatrice's place. Great hosting, the apartment is spacious, clean and as described. Right in the center of Barfleur, very pretty small village with its fishing port. Small Internet connection problem, but Beatrice and Nicolas were super responsive.

We had a great time at Dominique and Guylaine's, welcoming and very friendly hosts. Their tips on places to visit and restaurants allowed us to discover beautiful places. Dominique's personal story touched us very much. The accommodation matched the description and was impeccable, clean and peaceful. The kids loved the games available to them. We'll be back!!! We spent 2 nights at Jim and Mathilde's place. The kids loved the mezzanine bed. The apartment is superb, nicely decorated and well-equipped. We were able to easily discover Cherbourg and its Cité de la Mer on foot and then go to Tatihou Island, to the landing beaches. Shops are close by (bakery, supermarket). We would recommend this listing!

We had a great week! The apartment is clean, spacious and very well-equipped. The environment is quiet, secure and conveniently located with all kinds of shops nearby. All the information about the accommodation is clear and explicit. Excellent communication with the host, we encountered a slight problem (nothing bothersome) but Julien was extremely responsive, with a little extra touch. Thank you so much!!

We had a lovely stay at Béatrice's. The place is very relaxing, well located (near the dunes, the coast and the city center). In addition, we were very well received, well oriented on things to see and do in the area.

We were in daily touch with Louise who was very helpful. She answered questions promptly, made helpful suggestions as to where to eat etc . We had a minor repair issue which she sorted immediately without question and the man who came found was also friendly and helpful.

Brigitte is very nice and helpful. Her place is beautiful and very clean.

We had a pleasant stay in Barneville Carteret. Accommodation is impeccable, as described and photos. It is also very well located and very quiet. What a pleasure to have only the street to cross to enjoy the beach!

A pleasant stay at Christianne and Michel's. Lovely hosts,a warm welcome. They took time to receive us and show us around. A super clean accommodation. Very quiet. All the necessary equipment to cook. Shower products and towels available. Essential grocery store in abundance . In short,we who came back from a stay in a cottage in France with a single dishwasher tablet for a week and 2 tea towels warmed our hearts! We recommend without hesitation!
