Beachfront vacation rentals in Cherbourg-Octeville

Second experience for us at Pascal Vacances and we are still as satisfied with the level of services! Perfectly equipped house, very clean, as expected. Pascal and Catherine are real professionals, and in addition very friendly. They have a sense of hospitality, so we'll continue to stay downstairs. We also recommended them to our families, who also enjoyed their stay there.

A week in September, where we were faced with an unusual amount of rain and storm. Our host even seemed to feel guilty about it. We have assured Yves that we also the beautiful dark skies have enjoyed in this special place. To relax you do not need sunshine, the sea and the tides are already special enough. The dogs were able to run and swim wonderfully. The cottage offers everything you need, however small it is. The folding bed is against the expectation in a fine mattress. Of course, it's difficult to walk down a narrow path with your luggage and groceries, but you know that in advance. It gets used quickly and a little something for what you get in return. Yves is a warm, friendly man, who gives you all the privacy, but is there for you if you need any assistance. A place to get back!

The house right on the sea was overwhelmingly beautiful. Very tasteful and cozy. The kitchen is very well equipped from A as Austernbrecher to Z as Zitronenpresse, everything there to cook extensively. Internet super fast ! Sufficient thought was given to sockets and strips to charge electronic devices comfortably. The pellet stove is easy to use and brings a cozy atmosphere when it storms and is cold outside. The surroundings are wonderful for hiking and cycling. Small supermarket in Quinéville. Other good shopping in Quettehou (also great organic shop!) An unforgettable vacation!

A beautiful site, great location and comfortable, practical accommodations in a peaceful setting, right in the heart of the Cotentin natural reserve and a short walk from Utah beach… we loved it!

Cozy cottage provided with everything you need, nicely decorated for Christmas. 2 beaches less than 5 minutes walk away. In winter, wonderfully quiet! Some hikers saw and brave people who went swimming in the sea in the morning. The neighborhood is so beautiful in nature, also the houses in the typical stones in the village are so beautiful. And by car, you can be in Cherbourg or the beaches where d-day has played. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

Anne-Laure and Manu are very welcoming, we loved the very warm decoration, we recommend this pretty little house very close to the sea, very quiet and not overlooked, we will be happy to come back........

Marion was a great host. Very responsive and helped in advance with local recommendations so that we could book our vet appointment in advance (to return to the UK with our dog) and pick up groceries on our way to check in. The property was clean, tidy and minimalist but with everything we needed. The secure garden was perfect for our dog to roam safely and freely, with the beach just metres away an added bonus. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Ideal location for easy access to the beach ( ideal for surfing ). Convenient, clean and well-equipped accommodation. Laurence and Cyrille were very responsive. The small private courtyard is nice, very quiet environment. The bathroom is a little outdated, but overall we recommend 100% 👍

We stayed with our friends and children, 4 adults and 5 children together. The house was fantastic, plenty of space and amenities. The pool was great, kids loved it and perfect for rainy days with the cover. Daniel met us to check in and walked us around the house and house to use the pool facilities etc - very friendly and helpful. We all said we would happily come back to Daniel’s place.

Gite as described. Many activities offered for the family. House a few minutes from the beach. The only downside is that nothing is open outside the summer period. You have to take the car to go shopping. Géraldine is very responsive.

Lovely place, with excellent facilties, especially the heated pool! Jordan's place is in a very peaceful area, with a beautiful coastline to walk along. Even though it was off season and many places closed we found some great restaurants with delicious food in the surrounding area. Jordan was a great host, very responsive. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We really enjoyed staying at Veronique's place. It was a cozy and a quaint, yet beautiful space with a nice scent/fragrance, and all of the items/amenities that we needed for our two-night stay near Omaha Beach. The kitchen was very well-stocked, with almost anything that you could need, from honey to jams and preserves. Veronique brings fresh croissants and bread to the room each day; the fridge was pre-stocked with orange juice, several varieties of milk, and yoghurt, as well as butters and ham and cheese, and eggs. We managed to not only eat a great breakfast each day but also to have lunch from the supplied bread and ham and butter. This went above and beyond our expectations - and it was a huge plus, because it is a rural area and a drive would be required to get to a bakery or to town. We also really enjoyed the bathrobes, the very comfortable bed, and the lovely linens on the bed. Everything was convenient and comfortable. The water pressure excellent and lots of hot water.

Perfect! A very beautiful house, well located, well arranged, tastefully decorated, and which offers all the necessary amenities. The pool and games room are a real plus for young (and old!). Everything is thought out to make the stay enjoyable. Great communication with Celine. We'll be back with pleasure!

Lovely house on 4 level very useful for a large family/group of friends. Special decoration in each room, charming interior garden. Dominique is very welcoming, responsive and flexible. House 2min walk to village shops, 15min drive to Coutances train station or Gouville beach. Recommended!

We had a great time at Christine's place. Christine and her husband made themselves available to welcome us and advise us, thank you again. The little touches were very much appreciated (cakes and cider). The accommodation is very clean, we did not lack anything. We highly recommend this listing for a stay in Normandy.

This beautiful house is highly recommended. First of all, due to the beautiful location with beautiful views on two floors (living room and bedroom) that you can't get enough of. But especially because of the peace and quiet, while all the comforts such as supermarkets and restaurants are a 5-minute drive away. However, the most important thing was the hospitality: Anne-Francoise and Adeline made for an unforgettable experience! Ps note: there is no television. The internet is also not really fast. For us, no problem at all.

The accommodation is very well located. We came for the Easter weekend to visit the landing beaches. We loved it. Very friendly host.

The mobile home is very well maintained and very well equipped. The solar panels and two fridge are very nice. The mattress in the master bedroom is also of good quality. The covered terrace is a real plus. The location close to the sea is perfect. However, it should be noted that access to the sea is not directly from the plot as suggested by the photos, some of which are taken from the neighboring plot (but by a very short path). We still had a great stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. Very nice and spacious house with direct access from the garden to the beach. The view is fantastic !! In the evening, you can sit and watch the sun go down from the terrace. Within a few minutes you are by car in nearby villages. There is definitely plenty to do on the peninsula. The house itself is very spacious (seemed even more spacious than in the photos) and fully equipped with everything you need. Thank you for the nice reception and a great holiday!
