Modern wooden house with hot tub and 2 cats

FrancoisRating, 5 stars8 months ago
The stay at Magali's was perfect. On vacation with our 3 children under 10 years old, we were looking for proximity to the sea, but also a beautiful house so that we could also stay quiet on some days. There were plenty of games and a Jacuzzi that made the whole family happy! We could reach incredible beaches in 5 minutes and do very nice bike tours! We recommend this house! (just be aware: there are no shutters in the bedrooms, only non-blackout curtains)
The image shows a two-story wooden and stone house set against a clear blue sky. A gravel path leads to the entrance, flanked by green bushes. Bright green flower pots are lined up along the path, and a small seating area is visible in the background.

Cottage, Quiet, 5 km from St Mère.

JasonRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Very quiet which I love and far enough away from the ocean to not be too windy. That said it is too far from the beach to walk to. Even by bike it would be too much for most people. As most would be there by car this isn’t an issue. Good location for D Day activities. Fantastic host.

Beachfront House in "Little Ireland"

GaëlleRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We came as a family for Christmas Eve. We loved both the house and the surrounding area. The house is very nice, nicely decorated, and very well-equipped. Olivier thought of every detail to make the stay enjoyable (tourist information, board games, outdoor games, reading...). The cottage is well above the services provided by hospitality professionals. We also appreciate his responsiveness in our exchanges, his advice on places to visit and his special touches. Our children and we had a wonderful stay. Is there a higher category than Superhost???
A tranquil sunset is visible over the sea, with warm orange and yellow hues filling the sky. Silhouetted against the backdrop is a tree, while a distant structure is seen near the shoreline. The scene conveys a serene coastal atmosphere.

Seaview cottage with Jacuzzi - La Pernelle

We had a lovely time at Emma's place. The place is wonderfully quiet, beautiful private garden. The hot tub was great for the kids. From the room you can enjoy a magnificent view of the landscape and the sea. On the first evening, a deer walked through the grassland. Nearby, there is much to do, beautiful beaches and historically a special area. We plan to be returned. Emma and Paul are very helpful and kind, recommended!
A covered pool area is showcased, featuring a clear enclosure that highlights the inviting blue water. Colorful floats are visible on the surface, with sunlit reflections dancing across the pool's bottom. Surrounding greenery is seen through the transparent structure, enhancing the outdoor setting.

A peaceful oasis located 400 m from the sea

JuleRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We had a wonderful week at Lydia's, although she was not on site Lydia was always available at any time has always written back taken care of. Just a wonderful great woman. The house was perfectly completely fenced, shade and sun through the large great property. You can relax perfectly here. The sea is in absolute proximity. Sometimes we were completely alone on the beach. From Lydia's house you can do great things with and without a car... In the kitchen there is everything you need... the fireplace is magnificent. I would always go back to Lydia's. She is really a wonderful host, rarely do you find such great people. Thanks Lydia for everything regards Ceehla and juliane ❤️😘

Very nice rental! There were 5 of us with 3 dogs and we didn't want for anything. Very nice hosting. The house is close to the sea and dunes. Very well equipped and maintained. The house is connected to fiber optic internet. We would recommend this house for discovering Cotentin. Thanks again for hosting us.

Cottage les Marais

We felt very comfortable in Serge's house right away. It exuded a positive atmosphere. Especially the upper floor was very cozy and you could retreat to find peace. The bed was beautiful linens . The garden and in front of the house everything was fenced , very practical and calming for us because we were there with our dog. The beaches were almost all allowed with dogs, which was also due to the unfortunately rainy weather. We will definitely come back

Charming Cottage in the Heart of Normandy

ManonRating, 5 stars16 months ago
We stayed at the cottage for a few days with a couple of friends. We’ve had a lovely time : it was very cosy, well equipped and the surroundings are beautiful even during winter time. We found it very easy to communicate with Claire, who manages the cottage. We would definitely recommend staying there if you want to discover the Cotentin area.
A sandy beach is displayed, with people enjoying the sun and water. Colorful beach huts are positioned near the shoreline, while a green hillside rises in the background, dotted with buildings. A clear blue sky with some clouds adds to the coastal scenery.

Quiet cottage enclosed land 250 m from the sea

JoergRating, 5 stars22 months ago
We were completely satisfied with our 1-week stay in early June. The number of tourists at this time of year was very manageable and the nearby beaches were almost extinct. About 100 km away in Normandy, the municipalities directly on the sea at this time of year are partly fuller with much worse beach quality at the same time.
An aerial view captures the quaint cottage surrounded by lush greenery. A circular pathway invites exploration through manicured lawns and diverse plant life. A garden table with chairs is positioned near the cottage, providing a serene setting for outdoor relaxation.

Cottage 4 stars near the d-day beaches in Normandy

LydiaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Wonderful location for our base for the Normandy area! Our family of 5 stayed during the 80th anniversary of D-Day celebrations. It was convenient to attend events in Ste Mere Eglise, visit Utah, Omaha and June beaches as well as a day in Bayeaux. Valognes was charming; has its own D-Day history and interesting Roman ruins. The property dates back to the 16th century and feels like a private estate. Grocery story is 3 minutes away, as is highway access (N13). Spectacular garden, enjoyed many hours outside with wine amongst the flowers. Cottage is well suited to a family; two rooms accessible by one staircase and the other room / ensuite accessible by a separate staircase. Cooked in the well appointed kitchen, used the washer and dryer. Easy and plentiful parking on the property. Eric was friendly and responsive throughout our stay. Provided a great dinner recommendation on the coast for oysters, that we would not have found on our own. Highly recommend.
