Tranquil Mountain Getaway | Breathtaking Scenery

Anju and her team are perfect hosts. We found a place with local charm, ample space, great equipped and spotlessly clean. The shower / washing area is all new. Our toddler was very happy with the great amount of space to play. Sleeping/ living was comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed her international breakfast options at her cafe nearby. Super market and 7/11 are in walking distance. Train station is nearby and also the buses to access the Nakasendo hiking paths. We did the hike from Magome to Magone pass. We did some evening trips by train to nearby villages e.g. Agamatsu where we enjoyed utterly tasty eel from the aquarium at Sakae family / 栄家. Nagiso is an excellent place for activities in the valley and Anju is the perfect host. We would definitely come again.

Excellent location within walking distance to Takayama old town. Accommodation looked new and stylish. However, there was some construction noise in the morning coming from next door which should be a temporary issue.

It was a really satisfying accommodation to stay in Takayama. The accommodation was spacious and pleasant, so everyone in the group was able to stay comfortably. I was able to relax in a relaxed atmosphere. The neighborhood was quiet and secluded, so I was able to enjoy the relaxation without the noise of the city. When you open the window in the morning, the fresh air and the quiet scenery of Takayama unfold, It was a place that made me feel like I was welcome. The owner was also very kind. He guided us meticulously from check-in to check-out, and he also recommended nearby restaurants and attractions, which was a great help in planning our trip. Everyone in the group said, "I want to come again next time," and I think I'll visit again someday. If you're planning a trip to Takayama, I highly recommend it!

A beautiful, peaceful place. Such a perfect counterbalance to the busy traveling and bustling cities of Japan. We did the soba class and really enjoyed the delicious food at dinner and breakfast. It was lovely.
