Relax with the whole family at this peaceful home on the mouth of the Chazy River into Lake Champlain, on the boat launching ramp! Visit local farms and wineries or enjoy a fishing tournament. Bring your boat/fishing gear to the adjoining boat launch, or use our kayaks! Year-round, enjoy the view of the lake! Watch boats go onto the lake from the comfort of our screened-in porch, & watch the birds from the wildlife lookout next door! Please read all descriptions, my place is a little rustic! :)

Relax on Lake Champlain with family or friends! Our cozy two bedroom cottage can comfortably accommodate up to four people. Inside you’ll find 500 square feet of cleanliness, warmth and maritime style. A grill and new full kitchen provide the culinary options of home. A stylish bar/island compliments both kitchen and living areas. Outside you’ll find two spacious decks. One has a nautical feel, overlooking the lake, built of original stone and wood. A second larger deck overlooks the meadow.

Welcome to our cozy, 2 bedroom apartment with 1 bathroom, full kitchen and living area in Chazy, NY/Lake Champlain. We are located within a marina on the Great Chazy River, 1/4 mile away from the Chazy boat launch. Easy access to launch your boat, kayak, paddleboard, etc. The snowmobile trail is accessible from our driveway. Docks available with an extra fee if you are coming with your boat. Fishing is available from our docks or at the boat launch. Please message with any questions.

Chazy on the Lake

Beautiful lake home on a private road with A/C and strong WIFI so you can work from home if needed. Quiet place where you can relax and watch this million dollar view all day. Chazy Boat ramp is only 500 feet from the house so do not hesitate to bring your boat. You can enjoy the beautiful sunset outside or from the veranda or decide to stay cozy by the fireplace inside. Firewood is provided at the location, but you have to bring your own fire starter (NO liquid). NO DOCK on the premises.

Beautiful lakeside location. Large TV, cozy couch and fireplace. WiFi speeds sufficient to work remotely. Large kitchen with the essentials, good fridge/freezer, good stove/oven, but no dishwasher. There are neighbors along the lake but it is very quiet and serene. Josie was responsive to questions. Would stay again.

Heidi's place was perfect for our eclipse weekend getaway. It was beautiful to be right on the lake in this bright home, with plenty of space to cook and play games. The weather was lovely, and we enjoyed the front deck with lake view and the firepit out back for sunset. Bechard's sugar house was close by and definitely highly recommended stop.

Unbiased review. My wife and I were scoping out possibly relocating to somewhere near Plattsburgh. It was also our anniversary. We found this cottage to be charming, spotless, and with every basic amenity necessary. The bed was comfy, the place was spotless, the porch was charming... all in an old school setting and feel. The lake just across the street is breathtaking. lt's proximity to Montreal, the ferry to Vermont, and route 87 downstate made the location central. ln all sincerity, my only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer. Paul is a good hearted man who runs a wonderful place.

“Little retreat”

Quiet and clean. It worked well for me for the night I needed to be there. I was not prepared for the potable toilet even though it was pictured. I had never experienced one of those. The fire pit was great to sit at and had everything I needed. Steve was very attentive and quick to reply with my couple of questions and let me check in early. Great Little House!

John was a great host who communicated quickly and has one of the BEST guide books on Airbnb. His home is an historic farmhouse which is what is appealing since it doesn’t feel like a run of the mill Airbnb. When you enter you immediately know you’re inside a home that has been added to over the years. The kitchen is very well appointed and large and has the original 40’s / 50’s era cabinetry. Very cool feature. The beds were plentiful for large families and comfortable. All in all we had a very good experience staying at this heirloom family home.

This was our 3rd stay on Metcalf Pond but our first at Loonshead. The camp is very clean and comfortable; its location right on the water, among the mountains, is incredible. The drives to the area small towns and sites are peaceful and gorgeous. It's truly a privilege to be able to spend time on the Pond. We very much look forward to returning.
