Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Chassezac

Idyllic stay! The house is simple, nice and functional. The garden is sublime and beautifully maintained. The view is breathtaking! We spent 4 wonderful days resting in peace, reading and swimming in the peaceful pool. We didn't want to leave! Note that the location is wild so far from everything, you have to plan 30 minutes by car to access the shops. But it's really worth it! Thank you for the enchanted parenthesis!

Our short stay in Cévenol went perfectly well from our arrival to our departure. Many outdoor and sports activities are close to the cottage. The fact that there is no TV allowed our two teenagers to disconnect and we were able to enjoy family board games evenings (games available in the gite). The cottage is very well-equipped, cozy...it feels like home! Thanks to Mathilde for hosting us.

We had two wonderful weeks at Catherine's cottage! We enjoyed the tranquility, the simplicity, wild nature, clean air and challenging walks. The pool was wonderfully refreshing and an experience! Catherine and her family received us very warmly. From Bruno, we received homemade goat cheese. Actually, we prefer to keep this beautiful place a secret:)

We had an absolutely beautiful stay in Ardèche and this accommodation was a big part of it. The place is quiet, charming, perfectly equipped and tastefully decorated — a real little cocoon in the heart of nature. A huge thank you to François and Laura for their warm hosting and kindness. They were available, thoughtful and always smiling, which made our experience even more enjoyable. You feel like they put a lot of heart into what they do, and it makes all the difference. We leave with very nice memories and the desire to come back as soon as possible! Once again, thank you for everything 💛

We had a great time at Julie and Damien's! We were looking for a sweet moment for two, and Julie and Damien's haven of peace lent itself perfectly to it! We spent the evening by the fire, slept in total calm and the October morning atmosphere completed our need for a cocoon weekend. Julie is very welcoming and adorable! Thank you thank you for the welcome and small touches. If you want to spend a quiet moment in the heart of nature, go for it! And bonus, the road to get to Julie and Damien's is sublime!

Very nice host. Beautiful place. Beautiful little house with a lot of character, nestled in a beautiful forest. Beautiful views. Very good meal prepared by Christelle. We were lucky enough to also taste a very good deer that her hunting husband gave us. Beautiful discovery, we'll be back with pleasure!

We spent 3 days at Carine's place. The cottage is very beautiful and decorated with taste. It was very clean when we arrived and has a large number of amenities. The setting is very peaceful, surrounded by nature, but at the same time close to several places of interest. We will definitely be back to stay again, it was a very pleasant experience!

A dream week in the heart of the Ardèche in Anneke and Dominique's beautiful home. Very warm and attentive hosting. A very nice studio with a great view and access to the beautiful terrace. Olympian calm. Great walks to do in the surrounding area: a walker's paradise! An unforgettable stay!

We (Ellen and Hans) are retired and stayed here for a month to avoid the hustle and bustle of everyday life It turned out to be a beautiful location and exactly as indicated in the listing. Far from the inhabited world so groceries etc. you had to plan. But peace in abundance. Great host Kris and Greta, were there if you needed them but never intrusive. After a month the feeling of having a bunch of friends with it. Also have a sweet “social ” dog. Our dog Beer clearly had a friend at Loulotje's

We had a very nice vacation. The apartment has flair and is really fully equipped. The location in the vineyards is very quiet. The many animals put you on a farm and in the garden you can relax wonderfully. Albert and Christine are always available and helpful but also discreet. All in all, one of the best apartments we've ever had and highly recommended.

2 extraordinary days in a small cocoon, we were under the spell of the very quiet and charming little village as well as the accommodation, nothing to say, everything was perfect. Very nice, very warm, comfortable, well-equipped, very clean, and the little extra that made it a success The complimentary bottle of wine that we enjoyed in this very nice bathtub. Lovely apartment in the centre of Les Vans! We thought it was very tastefully decorated and well sound insulated (gets noisy in the evenings and on market day). Perfect location right next to everything. Appreciated that it felt truly like a home, with proper dishes and kitchen, with everything we needed.

A wonderful and memorable stay! The studio is still as charming and pleasant, very well equipped and comfortable. The spring light bathes the space in a beautiful softness, we like to stay and rest there, after a hike or simply to recharge. Véronique and Pascal are perfectly friendly and very attentive hosts. It's a real pleasure to stay with them. The Ardèche Gorges are nearby, as are many hikes, caves and quaint villages. Nia is a gem. We recommend it, and we'll be back. 😉✨

We stayed at Michelle’s apartment for 2 weeks. It was the best vacation rental we have ever stayed at (among probably 20 + places we have rented over the last 40 years). Everything about the experience with Michelle was top notch. She’s so friendly, thoughtful, caring and professional. We needed to contact her a few times during the stay, and she handled every question perfectly and with grace. The apartment’s amenities ticked off all the boxes. We chose it for the proximity to downtown, and were happy to be able to walk easily to all the stores, restaurants, pharmacy, Place aux Herbes, etc. That means a lot, since my husband cannot walk long distances. In addition, we arrived in town at the start of a very nasty cold/flu illness we’d picked up on a cruise a few days before. The apartment was perfectly suited to help us rest and recover.
