The apartment is located in a historic old house with a Gothic entrance gate, courtyard, covered outdoor area and terrace. The interiors are very practical and beautifully furnished, everything is renovated and a wood-burning stove in the living room provides coziness and warmth. The outdoor area offers plenty of variety with petanque, trampoline, ping pong and pool. The surrounding area is very nice and quiet. A disused railway line leads very close to the house and is suitable as a bike path and for jogging. The beautiful village of Sauve on the Vidourle River can be reached in 10 minutes by bike. There are good opportunities for short and long hikes, bike tours and excursions to the beautiful cities of the area. We would come back.

We had a great stay. The cottage is perfectly equipped, very clean and very cozy. There are numerous things for children and everything is well thought out. Ghislane is very warm and available. We will come back and we recommend the cottage without a second thought. A big thank you for everything.

We had the most wonderful week staying in this beautiful home. It’s enormous! The dogs loved the size of the gardens, the pool is actually an infinity pool and bigger than it looks. It’s french gite with a whole load of chic thrown in. There’s even 2 kitchens! The view from both the pool and the patio is truly unbelievable. A little paradise in the middle of nowhere (about that, the address doesn’t get you to the property on apple or Google maps. Luckily we have found it on a satellite versions before we left, identifiable by the location and layout of the pool in relation to the house, so we used that to get us to the gate). There are giant screens in a couple of the rooms and the Wi-Fi worked so when it got a little hot (it’s been 38 degrees) the kids kept cool watching movies. The place is super well stocked - more than you could ever need for cooking with and the bbq was perfect for outdoor dining every night. The bedrooms are enormous and three large bathrooms all very elegantly done. It really is such a spacious property. The nearest town with supermarket and restaurants is about 10 minutes drive and nearby the canoeing and walks done by the river are the most stunning scenery. The dogs loved to cool down in the river whilst we ventured down a 10k stretch in canoes. We loved it so much we would even come back - which we rarely do as there are just so many places to visit in the world but we saw only a tiny part of what is possibly one of the most beautiful parts of France. Could not recommend more highly! Natalie our host was lovely, met us to welcome us and left us some rose wine as a gift - lovely! She also helped with recommendations for restaurants and finding a good vet (new rules for travelling is the dogs, check in advance and sort before you leave). Five star place I almost don’t want anyone else to know about it

A very nice week spent in Ethel's cottage. The location is peaceful, and communication with Ethel is very fluid. We would highly recommend it!

Even nicer than in the photos. The perfect cottage for friends and families. Super outdoor area. Perfect water temperature had the pool. It's a quarter hour drive to the nearest supermarket/bakery. The beds are okay. The children's playground was fabulous. You can easily linger completely in the house.

Pierre-Yves' place was just great. We enjoyed the amenities and the quiet location with the great pool for 2 weeks. Pierre-Yves was a friendly and helpful host. We will be happy to come back. Thank you.

Élise and her family were lovely; thanks to them, our children enjoyed an unforgettable experience with animals. The cottage was comfortable and we were able to enjoy the walks and visits around, about 30-45 minutes away.

We had a lovely stay in the studio which is small, but comfortable and well arranged. The terrace offers an extraordinary view with surrounding calm, beautiful greenery close to Saint-Jean by car. However, it should be noted that access to the studio needs to be in shape, there are several stairs, before accessing the accommodation:-) I think the 2nd bed (extra bed) could be included in the price. But I don't regret anything. We were able to rest really well in an idyllic setting.

We had a great time! When we arrived, a wood fire was already crackling, making the house even warmer. The place is charming, authentic and perfect for a relaxing time. Only small downside: the tiles are very cold, better to provide slippers or flip-flops. But that doesn't take away from the charm of this beautiful home. We recommend it!

La Maison des Agaves, the perfect place for a bubble of well-being and relaxation for two. A very warm welcome from Isabelle and Emmanuel, 2 creators of ceramics... and poetry! Their works scattered here and there, outside and inside, give the place a sweet unique and enchanting note... Their pottery workshop is a real treasure trove of beauty! Swimming pool and jacuzzi under the stars, high-tech equipment, cocooning atmosphere... And the little Mimiz who watch over this place, definitely a little magical! Thank you both for your smiles, availability and special touches. Beautiful continuation of pottery adventures!

Hello, we are repeat offenders and stayed for the second time with our children (14 + 18) at Mamie Leone. This time, even one day longer than 2023. It was AGAIN totally nice and pleasant, although this year the weather was significantly worse than 2023. Last year we didn't eat inside once, this year unfortunately not once outside, but it was still a great vacation. Market visits in Anduze and Uze, cycling to Anduze and Mont Ventoux, sightseeing in Arles, beach visit or horseback riding near Montpellier (la grande motte), eating in Lezan in LE TEMPS PARTAGÉ, walks in the vineyards, jogging ...... We were able to use the fireplace in the evenings. The description reflects everything exactly and Fabrice&Sylvie are super nice, respond IMMEDIATELY to inquiries..... in short: next year we will come back for the start of the vacation, but then only for 4 days before continuing to Spain. THANK YOU Fabrice and Sylvie!!!!!

Great stay! Even though we didn't cross paths, the exchange was pleasant with Christine. We even had the right to a small welcoming touch that was very appreciated by the whole family. We booked Benoit's house for Christmas. The very well-equipped kitchen allowed us to cook at our leisure and the large veranda to host the whole family for New Year's Eve. The bedding in the house is very comfortable and the overall layout is lovely. The house is very well soundproofed (between rooms and with the outside). As a bonus, Benoît had prepared a Christmas tree with fairy lights. We highly recommend this listing for a stay in the area. The village of Saint-Vincent-de-Barrès is also very cute for a walk. We'll be back!
