Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Charleston

We had an amazing time!! Place was amazing, views spectacular as promised, and we loved the stove/fireplace. The 4WD note is real — our rental car company failed us, gave us a 2WD, and we couldn’t get up the driveway. We parked at the bottom of the hill … it was a 5-10min walk and not an issue for anyone in our group. So, make sure you have 4WD, or if you don’t mind a walk, that might work too!

Our group of friends (a few adults and a few babies) absolutely loved our weekend at the Farmhouse! It’s a beautiful home and surrounding area, and an easy drive to downtown Stowe and the mountain. Highly recommend!

Sally was extremely responsive when it came to communication, and her binder gives you everything you could possibly need to know about not only the house but the whole area in general. She is an amazing host

This is our third experience at Amanda’s Airbnb. As always it’s a cute, beautiful, and clean place. Great location for our pets to be able to run around. Looking forward to staying here again!

We had a lovely time at this quaint mountainous home. The neighbor nearby had some horses that grazed near the home every morning and the vistas in the distance were incredible to see. We would love to come back again next year, maybe during the more peak foliage season. Thank you all so much for your hospitality, especially for providing us an extra night!

Very pretty area, lots to do between, skiing, spas restaurants and cozy micro breweries. The house was very cozy the kitchen was our favourite location. All round great few days away. 🤭

We absolutely loved staying here! In fact, we loved it so much that we definitely want to come back again next year for another ski trip! The hosts were extremely kind, responsive, and flexible. Our dogs loved playing with their adorable two pups and had tons of space to run around. The house is awesome! It was spotless, cozy, and way bigger than expected. Great layout for our three families to each feel that we had our own space on each floor. Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and close to Jay Peak! Rich was easy to communicate with! Would def stay again.

This is the best place to take a family, large extended familiar, or group of friends with or without kids. Im not sure who enjoyed the amenities more, the kids or the adults! One of my fav part was that it was dog friendly. I have a hypoallergenic dog so I thought I might be bothered with allergies staying in a pet friendly place since most dogs are not hypo but I was not bothered at all!!! I cant say enough nice things about this home or our stay, or the owners attentiveness, helpfulness and attention to detail. Your group will have a blast.

The cabin was spotless, private, and in great location. We enjoyed skiing during the day and cooking ours dinner at the cabin. This was a relaxing getaway for all.

We loved our 3 night stay at this cozy condo on Burke Mountain! We enjoyed the easy access to the slopes, the wood burning stove, and a few awesome area restaurants recommended by Meredith! We hope to be visit again soon!

Big place. Great location between the village of Sutton and Mont Sutton. Great hot tub. Kitchen fully stocked. Definitely great for larger groups.

Stayed at Mike’s place for 3 nights while skiing at Jay Peak. Ideal location and was just the perfect layout and space for my party of 6. Even with 3 adults and 3 kids there was still plenty of extra space for additional guests. Some nice restaurants just down the street towards Montgomery. The space was also ideal for cooking in and enjoying time with everyone. Have been to Jay Peak often and would certainly be interested in renting again.

Had a great experience. The place was easy to get to and was happy to find complimentary snacks at the house after a long ride. My friends and I were provided exactly what we needed before a day of riding at Jay Peak, which was less than 10 minutes away. Appreciate the clean linens, comfortable sleeping areas, bath towels, and Netflix subscription. Will keep this stay in mind for my next big group trip to Jay.

Thank you for being such outstanding hosts! We love Stowe and are getting ready for our own home to be finished in the fall. We are getting married in October up at the mountain, and are looking forward to a VT fall! Your home was perfect for us and our pup Obi. We absolutely loved our few days there.

E.V.’s funky parlor was perfect for my friends and I to stay for a couple nights. Everything was very clean, the beds and linens were comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped and the price is reasonable for being 15 min from Stowe. We appreciated the thoughtful decorative touches and art, E.V. has created a peaceful, cozy space for guests to enjoy. Our visit focused mostly on skiing but I am certain that a stay during another season would be just as pleasant.

very nice experience at the cottage - kids liked it and we had lots of games and puzzles to do on a rainy day. interior stair will be remebered :) saw lots of deer and two wild turkeys every day on the gravel road to keep in mind when driving. ski is few minutes alway with a car. most of the close by restaurants (30min away) open after thursdays, so we were goint at the owls head hotel restaurant- not bad but need reservation on a busy days. overall excelent 5 day ski vacation. kuddos to the owner.

Listing as described and photos. We can see that this house is being improved and that the owners are looking to preserve its authenticity while adapting it to modern tastes. We were looking for a place with 5 bedrooms and we don't regret choosing this one.

This is a very special place, new, nice decor, beautiful landscape scenery and sunset. Perfect for relaxation and decompression. The location is beautiful and the house is well equipped. Loved it ! Thanks Shelley, you were very nice and caring.

We are repeat visitors and loved our stay again. The home and property are wonderful for our annual group trip. It is away from the crowds of the mountain and downtown Stowe, but yet so close. The view, the natural surroundings, the privacy make it just the escape we need. The space has lots of separate areas so kids can and adults can all find areas to play, read, watch something on TV, stare out the windows, or cook and hang out in the kitchen. It checks all our boxes.

Great place to stay for a single person or a couple seeking a quiet setting, walks in the woods, or skiing at Stowe. No other houses in sight. Excellent value for money. Some details we loved: The lighted address sign, so when arriving after a long trip at night we knew we were in the right place. The wood stove was easy to use and the radiant heat was great after a winter day outdoors. The cabin is cozy, but that is not a euphemism for claustrophobic: it has lots of windows, two skylights, and plenty of space. Very communicative and hospitable host, Stephanie. We only dealt with her remotely, but she has a caretaker nearby. She made us feel welcome and was alway there to help. Our stay had more of a personal, than a corporate feel, which we appreciated. We were glad we had 4-wheel drive and snow tires. . guests should be sure to have one of those and, ideally, both, especially when snow is expected, as Stephanie will tell you. We would be happy to return to this home away from home.

I had a great stay at Peter's place. It felt private and quiet despite being attached to the main house. Spacious and clean with very a comfortable mattress. Thank you, Peter!
