The cabin was wonderfully clean and cosy. Anjeli was extremely helpful on arrival and helped to take our luggage up to the cabin. She then showed us where to park our car. The location was ideal, just five minutes from the centre of Dartmouth. Anjeli recommended places for us to eat and we enjoyed a couple of meals there. No hesitation in recommending the cabin to other potential guests!

we had a lovely few days at Cheryl's place. The cottage is just as described and is a cosy home from home. We had a mixed bag of weather and it was good to have some board games to enjoy while it was wet and windy. We had one day of brilliant sunshine and enjoyed sitting in the lovely deck area soaking up the sun when we got back from our day out. All in all, a great place to stay.

Absolutely faultless sums up our stay! We booked this as a Mini-Moon holiday after getting married and heading straight down to the coast for our stay. As soon as we arrived we were greeted lovingly by the hosts including Zephyr the Deer Hound who welcomed us into their lovely corner of the world and congratulated us on our marriage. We were then left to our own devices to access the gorgeous property a stones throw away from the main house. The inside is a spacious open plan living room with kitchen that’s beautifully decorated with all the comforts of home you need for a long stay. The bathroom is perfect with a walk-in shower that has good water pressure as well as stays hot, amenities such as shampoo/conditioner provided. The upstairs is very quaint with a lovely futon style bed. This is the perfect bolt hole for a long weekend or couples retreat by the coast. Secluded but easy access to Swanage. Will definitely be staying again! A true pleasure!

Had a fantastic stay at Pristhole which is very well located in the pretty village of Stokenham, close to two pubs and roughly halfway between Salcombe and Dartmouth. Iona is really friendly and welcomed us on arrival and showed us around the grounds which are extremely well kept and the apartment was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. As a family of four with two daughters (aged 8 & 7), it was all perfect and on our first night we enjoyed a really nice walk via Tor Cross to the Tower Inn in Slapton for dinner and subsequent trips to Salcombe, Paper Bird Island/Kingsbridge, Woodlands Theme Park, Dartmouth and the nearby Stokeley Cafe and Farm Shop; all of which were great. We might just have to break our long-standing rule of not going back to visit the same place by returning to stay in future in the hope of better weather.

We felt right at home the minute we walked in the door. Complimentary wine,local gin, Lindt chocolates and Simon's amazing home baked bread ,scones and ameretti pastries went down very well with us two weary travellers. Slept like logs in the bed every night and enjoyed our morning coffee overlooking the beautiful,shimmering estuary. We will definitely return.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Goose House, it was very cosy and comfortable. It had all that was needed in a little cosy cottage. It was very private and peaceful and very close to all that is available in Exeter. Tamara was very helpful and responsive and made me feel very welcome. I would definitely come back if I was back in the area and would highly recommend to other travellers.

We had a great stay at Tom's place. the cabin is set within its own private courtyard and the location is really quiet. nothing better than being woken up by birds singing! the cabin is compact but very comfortable and clean. we really appreciated the hot water bottle and fluffy blanket as the weather was much colder than anticipated. the location is perfect, 2 minutes drive to Wareham, 10 minutes to the RSPB reserve and Corfe Castle.

We had a lovely time at John and Barbara’s place. They were fabulous hosts. The cottage was a welcoming, tranquil and picturesque getaway. It was perfect for our pooch, with a safe, enclosed and private garden and a paddock to explore. The cottage was very comfortable and had lovely views from the patio and lounge. It made a very convenient base for exploring the delights of North Cornwall. The local swimming pool is a ten minute walk away, an added bonus!

Diane’s place was comfortable, clean, bright with natural light and quiet - home away from home. Had all that was required for an enjoyable stay including TV in the bedroom as well as the living room which had great resolution and access to NETFLIX and other apps; fully equipped kitchen including a upgraded washing machine. We were warmly greeted by Diane on our arrival who thoughtfully left a fresh pint of milk in the fridge and other ingredients for a much needed cuppa after a long day of travelling. Complementary tea biscuits were also included. I noted all the kid-friendly aspects of Diane’s place including built in steps in the bathroom for the lil ones to reach the lovely wash sink. Diane’s place was close to the beach and places to eat which served tasty and reasonably priced food and featured great service. Diane’s place is a must have and we shall definitely be returning. Thanks again Diane for contributing to a fantastic time away in IOW. Will highly recommend Diane’s place x

Sharon's place was fantastic. Great location next to the beach in Sandown and easy access to places around the island. The apartment was very clean and tidy, and fully stocked with the essentials. Check in was done easily even if we arrived slightly earlier than we mentioned. The garden is lovely and we got to meet their 3 cats. Overall a wonderful stay and we will definitely repeat when we come back to the island.

We had a wonderful 4 days. The location was perfect for our visit. We were there to see the D-Day landings and museums. Only a 10 minute walk to the town centre, with loads of restaurants with different choices. The little bungalow was perfect for 2 people. It was very clean & smart with plenty of room. It was great to be able to park the car off the road. All in all it had a feeling of being very safe area. I walked my dog in the dark and felt very safe.

My time at Tatiana’s house was magical, everything I hoped for in a holiday to France, beautiful, peaceful, restful, interesting, friendly and supportive when needed. The house is just stunning, if you love surroundings filled with wood, age, charm, simplicity and style, Tatiana’s place offers all of that and more. A garden that is filled with blossoms and bird song meets you each morning as the sun rushes through to wake you and helps you sink into the evening with a glass of wine at garden table. Our hosts could not have been more helpful and we really felt at home. Lush hot shower to wash away a day at the gorgeous Carolles beach, and a dining room that asks for a table full of guests and cheese and wine and laughter. I absolutely loved everything about the location and the house, Thank you Tatiana for your hospitality, I sincerely hope to return!

We had such a lovely time at Sunset View. After a little blip getting started (which was very quickly resolved), we quickly settled in and felt right at home in Emily's comfortable and well thought out caravan. Devon Cliffs is a huge site but the van is in a great position in a quiet cul de sac so you're not 'on top' of other people. Only a 5 minute walk to the leisure area and shop and we had a lovely sea view when the sun came out! We really loved it and will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic stay at Pauline and Ken’s home, they made us feel at home straight away and were always there to help. The stand out of their Airbnb is how homely it is and it has been one of the best airbnbs we have ever stayed in. Pauline and her husband Ken were so friendly, our daughter could not wait to get home and see them and their wonderful dog Willow. I can’t recommend this enough. The home is beautifully decorated, all amenities you would need are present. Fabulous home and we can’t wait to stay again in future!

Spent the week at Michael and Caroline’s cosy barn and couldn’t have asked for a better time. Such a serene location where you’re immersed in nature. It was lovely to hear the birds chirping, the river running and the wind through the trees. The barn itself was very cosy, especially the new king size bed they’ve put in. The underfloor heating in the kitchen and bathroom was a nice surprise. The host themselves provided clear instructions on how to use the facilities and this made things so much easier. Only a couple of days into our stay we had already decided we’d be coming back.
