Enjoyable getaway in Blackwater area. The cabin really felt off the grid, and I enjoyed the wide selection of movies and non-internet entertainment. The area is very buggy when we went in early June, I wasn't quite ready for that as Cambridge is not. I liked the feel and would recommend it for anyone looking for quiet and remote feeling, but not challenging to get to.

I unfortunately came down with an illness right before we were supposed to stay. Kenny and Kim were very kind about our last minute cancellation. Very much appreciated their understanding and responsiveness.

The location was very beautiful. It fit our family of 6 comfortably. I appreciate the air conditioning and how cool it felt from the hot temps outside. There was lots of wood already available to make a fire, hot tub was ready to use, lots of available items already in the house for use. Anything you could want or need, she basically had. It’s also accessible to day trips near by - about an hour or so to the beaches. Very secluded and peaceful.

I am originally from the area and I come here occasionally. I usually stay about 45 minutes from Crisfield. This Home had everything that we needed. I always bring a special bag with cleaning supplies, toiletries, hand soap, etc. But this place has it all. I love the wall decorations and am going to use some of those for ideas for our home. Thank you for the use of your home. It was very affordable. We will definitely book again.

The listing perfectly describes this location, and the pictures are spot-on. Beautifully decorated. Kitchen is well-appointed with nice cookware and, miracle of miracles, nice, heat-resistant cooking utensils for that cookware. I liked the Norwex cloths in the kitchen and bathroom, and the provided shampoo was so yummy-smelling. Sarah is a great host, very responsive and helpful. She gives clear communication about check out and general expectations. (Thank you for offering a way to recycle!) Our kids really enjoyed spending a little time with the host's daughter as well. She introduced them to all the animals and was just as hospitable as her mom!

Waterfront Maryland Retreat w/ Dock & Bay View!

There is not a lot go say about this location except if you are looking for heaven then you may have found it. Deal Island is one of the most peaceful and unplugged places on earth. The home is right on the Chesapeake Bay and we as a family spent countless hours crabbing and sunbathing on the dock. We also went to the beach as well for paddleboarding and beach time. This home defines perfect bay side accommodations and let's you unplug from the daily world just by stepping in to it. I will never forget this vacation and Deal Island is a place in which this world needs more of. Great host(evolve and the owner) and answered every question I needed. Can't wait to go back.
