Vacation rentals in Champagne Castle

This is a beautifully located getaway with many walking options and the bonus is we can bring our fur children with us. This was our second time at Snowden and I hope to make it at least an annual trip. Wonderfully remote and well worth the 24km of gravel road.

Robyn is the most friendly and responsive host I have dealt with. The property is amazing and wonderfully private. Great open areas for the kids to play and a game of Rugby was awesome on the lawn. We enjoyed the friendly horses and beautiful cows and the kids loved the chicken coop. The house was amazing loads of areas to braai with a large wrap around veranda and a fantastic pizza oven. All bedrooms look onto the mountain and were a good size. Huge kitchen and lovely herb garden. Royce the farm manager was lovely and helpful. The games room was a win. Kirsten the farm manager as even posted back a few items my teenager left behind - such amazing hassle free service. Thank you were had an amazing stay.

Oh what a beautiful & peaceful place to be in. The pictures honestly do not do justice, it’s much more beautiful in person with gorgeous surroundings and the rooms are huge. The restaurant, playground and horse riding being in the same estate are a cherry on top. My family and I will definitely be coming back.

We had a great stay at Inversanda Farm. The fenced yard was large so our dogs had plenty of room. The cottage was cozy and a substantial size so we could comfortably stay for 4 nights. We would definitely be back!

We had a great stay and loved our time in Winterton. Savannah was really helpful with our check in and Willem was on hand to assist with any requests we had. We would recommend this stay to anyone who would like to explore the area as it is wonderfully situated. We hope to be back in the future.

The place was spotless, fully furnished and equipped with a gas heater, electric blankets, an amazing kitchen with even an egg boiler! Large bathroom with a shower and built in cupboard with enough space. Beautiful tranquil spot and I loved the privacy and separate own entrance that my host respected. Plenty of walking trials around. All the basic groceries were provided like tea, coffee, sugar, milk, cooking oil, salt, pepper … the list just goes on. I enjoyed my stay and had a good rest as well. Television is provided with DSTV channels. The weather: don’t believe the weather predictions … I packed completely wrong. Take clothes for hot summer as well as cold winter days. Thank you for a lovely and comfortable stay. Highly recommended.

The house is beautiful and spacious. It has everything you need. There is a washing machine, a dryer and a dishwasher. The view from the house is breathtaking and there is a clean small lake one can swim in just a few minutes from the house. There was a rock pool very close by but I understand that now it belongs to one of the properties so is not available for everyone’s use. There are so many activities in the area so we had busy packed days horse riding bird shows and vertical rush. Internet is not great. It was an absolute treat.
