The Mill House

AlisonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed at the house for weekend of birthday celebrations, the house was great and the garden, pool and surroundings were fabulous. The kitchen area was perfect for gatherings and loads of space to unpack. The beds were really comfortable, maybe an option to have a couple of additional twin beds as the majority were all double. The house was spotless and with the weather being perfect we couldn’t have asked for more. Anne was accommodating in all requests and information about the local area. I would highly recommend this property, we had a fabulous weekend.

Watlington, S Oxon: Small Grade II listed cottage

JamesRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Christine’s cottage is a wonderful place, and Watlington is such a quaint and peaceful village. My wife and I enjoyed our stay so much and would definitely go back again! We even had our 8 month old daughter with us and managed to make the space work (although it was tight, especially with noise while she was napping). Christine was very pleasant, helpful and clear in her communication. The cottage is cozy and quaint, and tastefully decorated. It is a grade 2 listed building and displays its history and character very well, while still being very functional. My wife and I love historical places, so it was perfect for us! One of things I appreciated the most about Christine’s cottage is that the kitchen and bathroom are good quality. As a former residential tradesman, seeing decent quality materials, fixtures and workmanship speaks volumes to me. So make sure to treat it well if you stay there. Good pubs and cafes all within a 5 min walk too! Highly recommend this place!

The Barn. A charming 1 bedroom rural retreat.

PaulRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Had a superb break at the barn - what gorgeous accommodation, a good size, and a lovely location right in the middle of open countryside. Perfect to recharge the batteries in peace and quiet. The place is easy to find, plenty of easy parking, the entrance and patio are tucked away and not overlooked by the farm house - it felt very secluded and private, but i knew Polly was on hand if needed. Good wifi, Netflix and a nice selection of DVDs once you are done enjoying the countryside for the day. I will definitely revisit.

Cowslip

We came and stayed for one night to acclimatise our hyper-sensitive dog to going away from home. Really lovely and peaceful for us all. Views of the farms were lovely and everything in the space is what we needed. Met the owners the next day and they were super.
A charming Tudor cottage is shown, featuring a thatched roof and a welcoming facade. Lush green hedges frame the entrance, which is marked by a wooden gate. Bright greenery surrounds the property, complemented by a clear blue sky overhead.

Charming 16th Century Tudor Thatched Cottage

DarrenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved our stay at the cottage. We visited the nearby Didcot Railway Centre and got a real taste of English cottage life. You can feel the history while staying here. It feels like a museum inside. Note that all of the bedrooms are upstairs and the lone shower is downstairs, just off of the kitchen. The unusual layout adds to the quirky charm. It's a highly memorable place!
