Such a relaxing getaway! Gorgeous views and very comfy stay. The house was well appointed with all you could need. Super clean, we had fun playing pool, enjoying the sauna, and tons of space for all. Thoughtful touches all around.

Fabulous place! We were a multi-generation group and this lovely home was perfect for us! The home was much larger than we expected and backyard was also expansive. Views were incredible with friendly deer running nearby. We would love to stay again!

Beautiful house in an amazing location, right by the river and downtown. We felt right at home and it was a perfect space for two adults, two teenagers and a dog. Would 100% stay here again!

What a great place to stay. It was so beautiful the whole property you could walk down to the river. Town was an easy 2 min drive. You could also run the street to the river trails. Communication was great host was responsive and made everything happen. I came for a wedding and now want to go back to just spend some more time. That’s how good the area and the house were. Hesitant to give it such a good review for my selfish reasons 😜 thanks for a great stay.

What a gem of a find!! Would highly recommend this for groups of friends or large families. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped for a group. The amenities of having river front access, a hot tub, plenty of parking/outdoor space, plus the garage filled with games was amazing. We went fishing, grilled out (has a lovely patio!), walked to town, and had a game night in the garage. It was an absolute perfect spot for a friends weekend away. The host sent us extensive directions and made everything super easy.

This place is amazing! Hidden away but close to everything. It’s a large space yet supper cozy with beautiful surroundings areas. Wonderful for families. The host was super attentive. Hope we can come back and stay here again. We loved it.

Great place to stay. Located in a quiet area just a few minutes walk from shops/restaurants. Lots of natural light as others have noted and I really appreciated the small touches like Bobo bars in the kitchen and nice bathroom amenities. Would stay here again next time I'm in BV.

This was a beautiful place to stay so close to downtown. Walkable and easy to access all BV has to offer. Jamie was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We had a great time!

If you're looking to get some peace and quiet, this is the place. Gorgeous views from a cozy cabin. I really appreciated that everything was so well stocked. The bathroom and the kitchen had everything you would need, even if you forgot a toothbrush! The hosts were amazing, Jodi's husband even took my kids and husband for a brief tour of their 1200 acre ranch. Lovely place and very comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again.

House was just as pictured. Clean, comfortable, private. Excellent amenities. We love it!!! Hope we get the opportunity to stay there again. Amber was so welcoming, and helpful.

Definitely recommend - loved being able to see the horses from the patio. The place was very peaceful and quiet, and we would stay again. Only 15 min from downtown BV. Absolutely lovely!

Perfect stay. Great hosts. This is their second home, fully equipped. If you stay here please treat it as your own. Location is quiet, with an amazing view & close proximity to Buena Vista for shopping, hiking, water sports. Lotsa room for a big family, or 2 couples and kids. I had it all to myself for 7 nights. Kids room has bunk beds. Wifi was plenty fast with the living room smart Tv and surround sound system. Plenty of parking for several cars with easy access on county maintained dirt roads.

What a beautiful and peaceful place! We were warned to be weary of the directions from Waze. When we got lost, the host quickly got us on track. Very responsive and very helpful!

We were staying in Salida for a wedding and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The views were beautiful. The property was clean and had everything we would need. Highly recommend.

My sister and I had a wonderful experience with Doug and felt right at home at his little rustic cabin nestled in an Aspen grove by the creek. The surrounding area is beautiful and Doug was very helpful with local recommendations. Bonus points for helping us load the car after I came down with appendicitis on our last day and had to have an appendectomy, which limited my lifting capabilities. Thanks, Doug! We’ll definitely look at coming back soon! And hopefully I’ll not lose another organ while I’m there! :-)

Wonderful stay! We really appreciated the thoughtfulness of the host, such as having enough towels, toiletries, and even common stuff that you might for get like make up remover wipes. I feel like these days airbnb hosts aren't super considerate like that, and have only the bare minimums but we didn't feel that way for this rental! 10 out of 10.
