The Copper Hide is a unique escape at Arth Valley Retreat on the west coast of Wales. This old dairy milking parlour was converted into accommodation some years ago but has recently (2024) benefited from a complete makeover. With a roll top bath, mezzanine bed with large star gazing window and Woodburning stove. During your stay you’ll be free to roam our piece of the valley that flows down to a river with waterfalls. Take a long morning walk with the dog or cycle along the nature reserve that’s through your garden gate, or take the short 20 minute drive to the seaside town of Aberystwyth to enjoy the shops, restaurants and cafes. Shop and pub in the village, and although the hut is set on a working farm, there’s plenty of peace and quiet and privacy at our cozy hut.

Countryside cabin - 'Hud y Machlud'. You'll be staying in one of our three self built cabins in the heart of the countryside with hot tubs. We are close to many of the areas best attractions including the Ceredigion coastal path, numerous stunning beaches, Fantasy Farm, the award winnings harbour towns of Aberaeron and New Quay and the University towns of Lampeter and the beautiful Aberystywth. We are very central within the county of Ceredigion.

Hand crafted cabin with panoramic views to the Preseli hills and 6 miles from local beaches. Own garden and wood fired bath. A really comfortable and simple place to stay. Great if you want peace, quiet and privacy. It has a comfortable king size bed. There's a wood stove for heating and firewood is supplied. There's a compost toilet and a warm shower. There is a well equipped kitchenette plus a parking space for your car. Pets are welcome.
