Our stay at Melpo’s Villa Dora was magical. This beautiful villa was perfect for our family of 5 and had all the necessities to make us comfortable. Melpo and Marrietta were responsive, helpful and extremely kind. We were entranced by the perfect views, the welcoming islanders, the island’s history and food! Thank you Melpo for hosting us and Marrietta for being our friendly helper. We hope to see you again.

We had a wonderful stay at this villa - the views were beautiful, and the houses all had everything needed for a fantastic stay. The hosts was very helpful and responsive for the entire holiday and beforehand. We loved the resident cats (especially Beer the black and white cat!! We will miss him 💔). Definitely requires car hire to stay here, but a quick drive to shops, beaches and towns. Had an amazing holiday and would love to come back!!

The house is amazing! Extremely well equipped with everything needed and more. Very clean and tidy. Great attention to detail on every aspect of the house. The team was very responsive and helpful. Alma (the cleaning lady) was helpful and always available throughout the stay. The location of the house was magical - so quiet and peaceful. We totally loved it. A highly recommended house and team!

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Dimitris is an amazing host - he was very kind and responsive, helped us with everything we needed and wondered about, and went out of his way to guarantee we have a pleasant stay. The villa itself is wonderful - beautiful, clean and well-equipped. It is clear that Dimitris put a lot of thought and effort in the villa. The view is astounding and the pool area is a true highlight. The villa is located in a quiet and relaxed village. The proximity to the airport poses no problem at all - there aren't many flights each day and the noise is minimal. We warmly recommend spending time in Dimitris' villa and we would be happy to come back!

We had an amazing stay at the villa. The town is centrally located on the island. The view was simply amazing. It was the start of off-season, so some area restaurants were closed, but there are multiple groceries and they stay open late. Even though the pool was too cold to use, the fire pit was a great place to hang out. Amalia is also local, so she was able to respond immediately when something broke, it was fixed within hours.

An outdoor terrace features a covered dining area with a stone table and chairs, adjacent to a barbecue station. The private pool glows under the evening sky, surrounded by greenery and lounge chairs, creating a serene environment for relaxation.

We spent a beautiful relaxing week at Villa Petri. Our host was friendly and welcoming. The house was perfect and the swimming pool and garden and landscaping immaculate. The supermarket and closest restaurant were a few minutes walk and the local coast was beautiful. I would definitely recommend.

My Serenity house.

This is a great place to stay. Mixalis and Venetia are excellent hosts - very thoughtful but also unobtrusive. They live in the ground floor flat (the property for rent is the top 2 floors) so are nearby when / if you need any help. The view is fantastic - you have Mt Ainos looming behind and the blue sea in front. The 2 south-facing terraces are perfect for taking it all in. We found the place very quiet during our stay and slept very well in the comfortable beds! The position is very convenient. Vlachata has a number of supermarkets and restaurants (although as of April 2022, in the very early season, not all were yet open). You can also walk or drive down to the beaches at Lourdata and Kanali (the latter is quieter and really idyllic, Lourdata is great too and has a choice of restaurants and bars). All in all, highly recommend as a perfect base for enjoying and exploring Kefalonia. Efharisto Mixalis and Venetia!

What a find! We loved our stay here and would recommend to anyone else, we hope to go back. It is a peaceful part of the island and suits the relaxed pace we wanted, with beautiful natural surroundings. The pool with that view was stunning throughout the day, with the evening sunsets and lighting at night being beautiful. We had everything we needed and the cleaner did a great job, and even left us flowers. We loved hearing the goats roaming nearby, giving us clues to where they were by their bells tinkling, and one day we got to see them in the garden. Great places to eat nearby, and stunning beaches. Marios was a star and gave excellent recommendations. He went out of his way to try and find us more p20suncream which we had run out of! We loved it here and are so very pleased we were able to stay.

It’s a charming house, traditionally and fully furnished, sea view in almost each window. The house is set first line on the water. Perfect balcony and outdoor areas. Only one bathroom and one toilet but all the other benefits made it a perfect stay. Theodore was very responsive to each question and request. We will hopefully be back.
