Incredible! The WoW factor when we walked to the pool was overwhelming. So much so, that we chose to stay there our first full day to soak in the atmosphere. It's a must see experience, no down side. It was like being at a private resort with a heated, well maintained pool and manicured grounds, very tastefully staged. So envious. Next time, we will bring bicycles to ride to town, it's only a few miles away. DC traffic is not to be trifled with; its Nascar. Our only bad part was Gladys wasn't around to say goodbye, we truly missed out there. We loved every second we spent with her. This is by far the high bar of airbnb's for us, and we've been to some stunning places, but this is our favorite. It was the best part of our trip!

Really lovely home. Well stocked and nice details like luxurious towels and soft sheets. Everything was labeled and well-organized. Very comfortable and great space for a family. Beds were comfortable. Kids loved the huge bathtub!

We had a wonderful family reunion here with 3 generations. Each family had their own private space but there was tons to do on the property together as well. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and made sure we were comfortable and happy! We appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked, too.

We traveled to the area to attend a golf tournament - we stayed for four nights. The property is gorgeous! I always try to rent properties with a fenced in backyard but there were no neighbors anywhere in sight and the backyard was HUGE so my dog didn't wander at all. We saw lots of wildlife - beautiful inquisitive deer and turkeys. The home was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook dinner. I especially loved the stovetop and oven and huge SubZero fridge/freezer. My only complaint was pics of the pool show a spa that is part of the pool - we have stayed in plenty of Airbnbs with pools like this and the spa should have been operational but we were informed that it was not. "Hot tub" was not advertised but in my experience a hot tub is stand alone from the pool which is what I have at home. Spas that are part of a pool should be able to be turned on when in use. Portoro Homes replied quickly when we inquired - however we were disappointed.

the stay was wonderful!! we thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. from photos, the house seemed very secluded but it’s not (no biggie!) it’s also close to nearby towns and the house was well stocked for us. we did lose power due to storms, but Michelle was very responsive and polite. Also, if you have a low riding vehicle beware that you’ll scrape bottom coming out of the driveway. The hot tub was nice, but the accessibility leaves a lot to be desired. the stairs are terrifying lol but once we got the nerve to climb them, it was lovely! the pool was amazing with a lot of provided floats, tubes etc. they also left out their vacuum and skimmers for us to use which was so helpful as a lot of frogs, turtles and bugs got into the pool throughout the night & the storms. overall, we had a great time and i would highly recommend booking. we would absolutely visit again.

Our stay at this beautiful riverside home was absolutely wonderful! The setting was peaceful and serene, with gorgeous views all around. The in-ground pool and hot tub were definite highlights! My son especially loved exploring the riverbank and searching for fossils and shark teeth, which made the experience even more special for him. The host was incredibly welcoming and thorough, taking the time to show us around the property and explain all the features of the home, which we really appreciated. Inside, the house was clean, well-maintained, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The driveway leading up to the home was a bit bumpy, but nothing we couldn’t get used to and it was well worth it once we arrived at such a beautiful spot. We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

This house is fabulous and perfect for large groups. Plenty of space for gathering and privacy if wanted. Hot tub and pool were great. Home recently updated and in great condition. Didn't have time to use the sauna. Neighborhood is quiet, very walkable and beautiful. Easy access to anything you might need or want.

A group of four of us stayed over a weekend for the LIV golf tournament is Gainesville, VA. The house was pretty easy to find and located in a great central area. Directions to the house and check in instruction were clear. The home was clean and everything worked well. It felt like a mix of an old homey cabin with modern features. The overlook of Lake Jackson makes for a peaceful and calm atmosphere. Each morning we enjoyed a cup of coffee while overlooking the lake and listening the wildlife. Even saw a few bald eagles flying over the lake. Overall, our stay was great and Karen was helpful and responsive with any questions/requests we had. 5 out of 5 would stay again.

The only thing negative is that it could be tough getting your suitcase and things down those long stairs and there is no railing . Def not for the handicap . Beautiful accommodations though .

I booked this beautiful home for a personal getaway for myself and my dog. The location was perfect. It’s beautifully nestled in the woods. They have maximized the beauty and landscape of the property. Every detail within the house is beautifully curated and thoughtfully laid out and planned to include the ability to bring your pet and also ensure that you are able to clean up after your pet very easily. The deck tub was fabulous! It’s both hot and cold, so in the 100 degree weather, the cold tub was amazing. I can’t wait to visit again!

Hammad was very responsive and helpful, especially when I needed some help setting up the TV (getting logged into my streaming accounts). We very much enjoyed our stay. If you are planning on cooking, you might want to bring a chef's knife, ceramic non-stick pan, and a silicone spatula (I bought some at the local Wegmans, no problem). It's also possible that these were in the kitchen and I just missed them.

This is our third stay this year with Brad&Erin; it’s hard to even want to book elsewhere when everything is perfect at their properties!

What a lovely, cared-for home in a quiet neighborhood, within driving distance of anything we wanted. We had everything we needed, as well as responsive, helpful hosts. It was ideal for a toddler, parents, and grandparents. Thanks so much for being able to help us out when our other reservation fell through at the last minute- we ended up in a place that was perfect and so much better than our original plan would have been!

We booked this for our family that was visiting from Europe. The house had all the amenities that we were looking for. The host was extremely nice, we needed a pack n play and even though they didn’t have one they were kind enough to get it for us on short notice. We were able to accommodate our whole family and had a really good time. The house was very clean and the hot tub was a very good addition. We really enjoyed our stay.

Imad’s home was perfect for our family. It had all the amenities we needed, including a convenient home office setup with an extra monitor—making it easy to stay productive. The house was spotless and located in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood. We felt completely at home and will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Virginia.

We had a wonderful stay at Shafia’s place! We enjoyed the area and rode the Metro from the Franconia Springfield station into DC. This was a great place to come back to at the end of the day. Beds were comfortable and the space was perfect for us. (Girls’ Trip!) We visited AmThai close by, Mount Vernon, Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant, The Library of Congress (tickets in advance), Zaytinya (reservations), the National Portrait Gallery, Virtue Feed & Grain (reservations), Old Town Alexandria, Old Town Books, the Swiss Bakery nearby, Barca (reservations), and Tous Les Jours Bakery & Cafe. Abinash, as you are aware this is the second time we have stayed at your property, and it was perfect. Close to everything and well kept. Thanks for allowing Us to stay. We will be back soon.

Overall we had a great stay - however, the sleeping arrangement for the 3rd and 4th person was not up to the mark. The pull out in the drawing area, which doubled up as the bed, wasn't roomy enough for 2 adults. Wifi logging in took sometime - Kelly was prompt in resolving this issue. A dishwasher would have been welcome. We would conclude by saying that it was a very comfortable stay and thanks Kelly for the thoughtful supply of coffee, dish wash liquid, and fabric detergent liquid.

This private little house at the end of the lane was quiet, peaceful, easy to care for, and pristine. There were full amenities, more than we expected. Virginia was helpful and responded quickly. We hope to visit again!

The house was spacious and in a quiet neighborhood. It has plenty of space with nice furnishings and flooring. The kitchen is is well appointed and can accommodate multiple cooks working to prepare meals. The kitchen is open to the family room so you can converse with family members who aren't in the kitchen cooking. Lamar responded quickly and fixed any issues that arose around the house. My family enjoyed our stay.

We would definitely stay here next time we visit! I stayed several nights with my two dogs and we had a great time. They’re both about 50lbs so the space was a little small for all 3 of us, but having use of the fenced yard was soooo great and Laura was super accommodating with my reactive dog. It was easy to communicate with her on the app which I appreciated. The location is close to the highway/beltway and convenient to get to Alexandria and DC, and close to Mosaic District which has restaurants and a great farmers market. You can hear some upstairs noises/barking in the evening, but no different from being in an apartment so it didn’t bother us at all.

This house is amazing. Very spacious and private with lots of yardspace. Immaculately clean. Lots of rooms to gather. The bedrooms are large, most with their own full bath which was great! Laundry room is upstairs. Large kitchen with lots of light. The Theater room was the highlight for our stay!!! And downstairs has a bar area and games. One note, there is a private apartment with its own entrance that has someone staying there off the downstairs area. They never bothered us so it wasn't a problem. Fola was a joy to work with. She met me at check-in and gave me a tour of the house with lots of instructions and explanations. Also, she answered any texts very quickly during out stay whenever I had a question. Great stay, great host, highly recommend!
