Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Central Plateau

The Oyster House is absolutely amazing. The perfect place to rest and unwind with a spectacular view and peaceful surrounds. The kitchen was well stocked and the home very spacious and comfortable. We loved sitting in front of the fire and soaking up the ambiance. This was our first trip to Tasmania and we have enjoyed every minute. We will definitely be returning to the Oyster House. Peter’s cottage is cosy and inviting, a lovely renovated 2 bedroom house with plenty of character. It was spotlessly clean for our arrival and had just about everything we needed. The one small item we required was missing, and Peter replaced it very promptly. We had a very comfortable 4 day stay in Evandale, a beautiful village, and would highly recommend Peter’s house.

Loved our stay here and would definitely stay again. It’s a beautiful, comfortable home with a smashing view in walking distance of everything.

Stephanie was such a lovely, welcome host. We were fortunate to have been greeted by her personally when we arrived and she made us feel right at home. The setting for this accommodation is so delightful, completely charming. If you enjoy character and charm of old buildings, you will love it here! It's set amongst a lovely garden and right opposite the stunning and historic Village Green. Westbury is such a quaint little town, there's a great coffee and wine spot a short walk away (Love Lucy Boots) and we enjoyed a meal from the Thai food van by the Village Green on the Friday night. The house itself was very comfortable (once we lit the fire!) Plenty of space, a very large and well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds with great linen were some of the highlights. We did think the kitchen could so with a deep clean, in the drawers etc. But everything else was just fine and we really enjoyed the space. We would happily return when in Westbury again, it was great value for money!

We were looking for a relaxing holiday in the Tasmanian winter and this Airbnb was perfect. The views of the beach are stunning and can be seen from bed, and from the massive deck. The fireplace kept us warm and was well supplied, and the split system also worked a treat. Greens Beach was peaceful and surrounded by national parks, which made for some great walks. The Airbnb was equipped with everything we needed and was great value. Would absolutely recommend.

Wonderful cosy home that is close enough to town to make exploring easy, while remote enough to be a quiet and peaceful place to relax.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay, we both raved about how comfortable the bed was and we thought the doona was heavenly. It had a great location and was only a few minutes away from a lot of the launnie attractions

Was a wonderful stay! The wooden panels and features throughout the property is absolutely gorgeous, not to mention the kitchen and bathrooms. Everything was beautiful and the sauna was a love addition. I will definitely be coming back and would recommend to anyone who wants to listen!!!! 1000/10

wonderful house..we got 2 rooms downstair and private living rooms with huge TV...separate toilet and bath room.. big bedrooms with heater.. entirely house is big..with 3 living rooms and big kitchen.. beatiful view.. affordable price

Very comfortable and clean place.

We stayed in this accommodation for one night as our first getaway with our 10 week old baby. The views in every direction were breathtaking! Close to town so we could stock up on groceries and run back out if we needed something. Hot tub was lovely and beds were comfy. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved it. It felt like arriving at home. The garden is magnificient, the plants inside are stunning. The kitchen is extremely well equipped to cook. The fire place is gorgeous. We have a great time.

very nice view, great house, quite place, great location if you drive the master bedroom is amazing with the bath and the view. only the pool is not clean and you do not want to jump in.

Wow, we were literally speechless when we arrived. In real life even more spectacular and breathtaking, we were all in awe. It seems that so much care for detail and love when into designing this home, everything was so well thought out. It has all the amenities you need and more. We were planning on eating out at least one time but loved cooking and sitting by the fire so much that we fortunately decided to stay in instead. And taking a bath in this is house is probably the most memorable of all baths i have ever taken, you cant beat those views! Karen and Andrew were lovely hosts and very responsive and helpful. And to top everything off their wine is so good! This stay deverses a 10/10. Thanks Karen and Andrew for sharing this slice of heaven.
