This is truly one of the most stunning places I have ever stayed when it comes to nature on your doorstep. We loved it and hope to return as soon as possible

Kyle's place was beautifully furnished and very peaceful. It is centrally located and walking distance from all of the attractions that Prince Albert has to offer. We had a minor issue with the wifi not having data, but managed to sort it out. We would recommend this listing to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend away.

I couldn’t have asked for a better spot for a solo retreat. The cottage hade everything I needed and nothing beats the peacefulness of the wide-open Karoo. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

We had a peaceful relaxing weekend at the Old School House, its very charming, full of character, and comfortable. The surroundings and views of the mountains are beautiful, we had a walk down to the river which also very charming.

Incredibly peaceful and calm mountain-hiding experience in the Karoo, with all the facilities and necessities you'd need, and more. Thoughtful attention to detail and kind and responsive host. Definitely recommended for those that want to escape the city buzz!

Wow, this house was so amazing! It looked to be 100 years old- but it was so well kept! Beautiful hard wood floors! Beautiful comfortable beds and bedrooms with bed warmers and lots of extra blankets! I can just imagine the families that lived in this beautiful space throughout the last century. We were met when we arrived and made to feel like it was our home! Such a special house!

Lovely and quiet breakaway on a secluded farm in the middle of the mountains. Great for some family time and rest, definitely recommend it.

The view from the cottages is amazing! They are also great hosts, putting lots of extra effort in small details to make you feel at home.

We loved our stay, perfectly situated as a half way point for our trip to Cape Town. Karen was lovely and communicated throughout, being able to order dinner for the evening was a nice touch and the lamb was great. Thank you for having us

This was our second stay at Karoo Karos, and we'll be back. Comfortable, neat and clean accommodation. Friendly, caring hosts.

We stayed for 1 night on our drive from Joburg back to Cape Town. It was the perfect overnight stopover for us. We could have easily planned a longer stay after discovering how cool the Karoo National Park was on our drive out the next day. Izak did a great job stocking the apartment with everything you need and utilized the space very well. It was comfortable, private, and is on a beautiful property. We would recommend a stay here to anyone, especially for the road trippers who want a day or so exploring the Karoo.

Our stay at the farm was nothing short of exceptional. Traveling as a family of four with our dog, we felt immediately welcomed by Louis and his family, who anticipated our every need with genuine warmth and care. Set against breathtaking mountain scenery, every day brought a new adventure. We enjoyed a memorable walk to the stunning waterfall, had plenty of fun in the swimming pool, and immersed ourselves in the natural beauty of the surroundings. Beyond the property, the area offers a wealth of activities—from invigorating hikes at the top of the Swartberg Pass and explorations of the Cango Caves to visits to an ostrich farm. This destination truly provides the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, making it an ideal getaway for families seeking comfort, excitement, and a connection with nature.
