Kyle's place was beautifully furnished and very peaceful. It is centrally located and walking distance from all of the attractions that Prince Albert has to offer. We had a minor issue with the wifi not having data, but managed to sort it out. We would recommend this listing to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend away.

Danie and Narina are lovely guests, very easy to communicate with, very nice and accomodating. Their place is something special, in the middle of « nowhere », horizon as far as the eye can see, you can see the sunset and the moon rising at the same time, and their place is very well equipped ! The road to arrive is quite long and the wind can wake you up while you sleep but that’s part of the trip ! We recommend

Tia was a welcoming host, her place is absolutely stunning with some much effort and love put in to make you feel right at home, the beds were super comfy. The house is so beautiful! I would HIGHLY recommend staying here. Thanks so much Tia for your wonderful hospitality.

A beautiful massive house with all needed to stay warm in the coldest place in SA. We had an unplanned detour on the bikes and the host were concerned and still accepted us checking in only after 10pm with a smile.

One day is just not enough…3 or more is better! You can get a braai pack, wood and home made bread! Kids voted the farm stay the highlight of a month in South Africa !

The view from the cottages is amazing! They are also great hosts, putting lots of extra effort in small details to make you feel at home.

Our stay at the farm was nothing short of exceptional. Traveling as a family of four with our dog, we felt immediately welcomed by Louis and his family, who anticipated our every need with genuine warmth and care. Set against breathtaking mountain scenery, every day brought a new adventure. We enjoyed a memorable walk to the stunning waterfall, had plenty of fun in the swimming pool, and immersed ourselves in the natural beauty of the surroundings. Beyond the property, the area offers a wealth of activities—from invigorating hikes at the top of the Swartberg Pass and explorations of the Cango Caves to visits to an ostrich farm. This destination truly provides the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, making it an ideal getaway for families seeking comfort, excitement, and a connection with nature.

An absolute Karoo gem! We had the most magical stay at Karus Karoo — hands down one of the best Airbnb experiences we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peacefulness of the location and the thoughtful touches everywhere. The Kol Kol wood-fired hot tub was the ultimate highlight — watching the sunset over the Karoo while soaking in warm water with a glass of wine was pure heaven. 🔥🌄✨ The cottage itself is beautifully styled — rustic but luxurious, with everything we needed and more. It’s tucked away in a quiet corner of Prince Albert but still within easy walking distance of some incredible spots. We loved having brunch at Lazy Lizzard and strolling the quaint streets lined with galleries and cafés. The hosts clearly put their heart into every detail. We felt so welcome and spoiled. We’ll definitely be back — this place is soul food. Highly, highly recommend! ❤️

We stayed at Vygiebos cottage for 3 nights and it was absolute bliss...The Karoo quiet cannot be described in words and a must on the bucket list for all... lovely hosts, beautiful basic cottage with everything you need for a no nonsense break... We will definitely be back, highly recommended!!!!

Outstanding cabin! Wish we could stay longer. It was the perfect place to unwind and destress. Very well designed and thoughtful place. Host super kind to leave a wine and a gift. Will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay here. Highly recommended for couples looking for a weekend of privacy and peace. The bed is soft and comfortable, and there are extra blankets for cold nights. There is clean hot water and electricity, but limited cellphone reception which is great for unwinding. The kitchen is well kitted out, with a gas stove top and fridge with a freezer. There is also a braai and a fire pit. Our small Mazda 2 had no trouble on the dirt roads, although if you have low clearance, you will likely need to take the last 100m or so slowly. You can spend the weekend in the wood-fired hot tub, enjoying the scenery, stargazing and braaiing. The hosts are accommodating and respectful of your privacy; they kindly put together a beautiful cheese board for us (for a very reasonable fee), and otherwise left us to our own devices. Excellent stay, 5/5 stars.
