Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Central Greece

On arrival Dimitrios's father in-law welcomed us to paradise and he was right. The views and proximity to the beach were outstanding. The location was peaceful and calm. The views, and especially sunsets, are sublime. A very 'Greek' restaurant in the village was a short walk away but we generally felt reluctant to travel beyond the flat and beach. This must be one of the dreamiest locations. Nature has gifted Dimitrios generously! The flat itself is comfortable and well equipped. The kittens were an added pleasure.

Wir waren zu dritt in der Unterkunft, um Freunde in Karystos zu besuchen. Es war alles prima. Ein wunderschöner Strand am Fuß des Berges, nach Karystos rund sieben Minuten mit dem Auto, das für Euböa erforderlich ist. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, die Lage sehr ruhig mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick auf die Bucht. Wir würden es demnächst wieder buchen wollen. :-)

Perfect spot to visit Delphi! The flat is perfectly set to enjoy the seaview and the host let us enjoy the olives and honey of his own production ! Thanks!

Nous avons tout aimé, l’hébergement était chaleureux. On nous a recommandé deux endroits à visiter dans les environs à ne pas manqué merci pour les recommandations. Il y avait des attentions pour le déjeuné et l’appartement était propre et sentait très bon!

Others already talked about functionality and practicality. I will talk about the impression. The moment you enter the spacious yard, you are in some movie scene. Old olive trees all around the path leading to the house, smell of conifers, fresh air and stunning, amazing view, wherever you look. The house itself is a testimony of a brave man who built a home for his family. Every single detail speaks about love, honor, pride and enjoyment of life. It is calm and peaceful there. Energizing and relaxing at the same time. Everything is fragrant and airy. Dimitra is a caring, unobtrusive host and we are immensely grateful to her for everything

Uns hat es in den 10 Tagen Aufenthalt an nichts gefehlt. Die Ruhe die wir fanden war perfekt um den AKKU aufzuladen. Die Gastgeber waren jederzeit hilfsbereit, freundlich und konnten nützliche Tips geben. Sehr gerne sehen eir diese Unterkunft wieder. Perfekter Urlaub.

Had a great stay at the apartment! Our stay was short and we definitely wished we stayed longer as the place was very beautiful and comfortable and felt like home! The host was very responsive and welcoming and helped us with anything extra we needed. Also one of the cleanest Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in! Will definitely be back!

Tavia is great hostess, waited for us at the agreed place and helped us with our luggage. Her son Panos then explained everything to us by video call and gave us various recommendations. Glossa is a beautiful authentic town where you can find everything you need to live. The accommodation is about 700 m away from the parking and the road is definitely not flat. The place is the quietest we have ever stayed in.

Fantastiskt fin lägenhet i Gazi med närhet till många bra restauranger. Uppskattade särskilt den generellt höga standarden på lägenheten, att det fanns uteplats i två väderstreck och läget med promenadavstånd till det mesta. Vi kommer definitivt vilja boka denna lägenhet igen nästa gång vi är i Aten.

On the water, only 30 minute drive to Delphi. Well appointed, clean, small town center within 10 minutes walking. Very nice place to stay on a roadtrip, could have stayed there longer.

First of all, a big thanks to Maria and Alexander for their warm welcome. Starvos provided clear instructions, although we unfortunately didn't get to meet him. The place was perfect—extra clean and felt just like home. The apartment was even better than in the pictures. The location is ideal for a restful stay. The nearby restaurants offer delicious seafood, and the staff is very friendly. We hope to return soon.

Tout était parfait. Nous avons été reçus et traités comme des rois. Dîner en amoureux loin de la foule Athénienne et profiter du jacuzzi en admirant le coucher du soleil, puis se réveiller le matin toujours avec cette même vue incroyable sur l’acropole sont des moments de vie privilégiés que mon épouse et moi garderons longtemps en mémoire… Merci Agis et Gina ❤️❤️

We had an absolutely lovely time at Eleni's apartment! From the moment we arrived, the experience was wonderful. The location is unbeatable-just steps from the beach, allowing us to enjoy swims in the morning as well as being able to eat breakfast outside whilst looking at the sea. It's really peaceful but also so close to lots of restaurants and bars as well as the local shop. Eleni was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. She went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed and even provided a lovely welcome basket of local treats for our arrival. We're already dreaming of our next visit to this slice of paradise. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a serene beachside escape!

This home was warm and welcoming. The host was kind and accommodating and helped with anything we needed. We loved the provided treats, including the delicious breads, cakes and sandwiches. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautiful home and the charming village Arachova.

Maria was such a kind host, immediately made us feel welcome. We had a little mishap when we arrived and she went out of her way to make us comfortable. Her dinner recommendation was the best experience we had in Greece. The apartment is adorable and the view is to die for!

I was personally greeted by the hostess, and she made sure that I knew where everything was. The apartment was exceptionally clean !! The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very good. Even providing shampoo and body wash! The kitchen, and the utensils were very clean. The layout was very comfortable. The apartment is very close to a bakery, a small shop and 2 miles from the ocean and many beach side restaurants. I was immediately felt at home. They also had laundry facilities!! It was an excellent experience !! The hostess was very flexible with my need of a ground floor apartment and also flexibility with my check in time. She also provided airport transportation. Except exceptionally all well done!!!

I can’t say enough about this spectacular apartment, its view, and location! Absolutely breathtaking! It’s right in the heart of everything you’d want to see about Ancient Greece in Athens! Short walking distance to the Acropolis and so much more. I would easily stay here again and highly recommend to others!

This was the best Airbnb rental we have experienced. The host thought of everything and made our stay feel even better than a hotel! The location is unparalleled, the little details of snacks and water and wine in the fridge. What an extremely hospitable host and property! Easy to check in, check out was also a breeze. Can’t recommend enough.

Wow! Great view from the terrace! Great neighborhood and awesome place to stay! Wish we could have stayed longer! Really w ish I had more time to enjoy the rooftop terrace with fantastic acropolis view!

This place is amazing. The view is a dream. Location is excellent. Close to restaurants and iconic places to visit. Peaceful at night and spacious. Looks better in person. I would give a 10 score if it was available. When visiting Athens this is the place to stay. Even more if you are a family. They made accommodations for baby guests. This is the third Airbnb in our 17 day trip and by far the best. Amazing service. Superb host.

The apartment is indeed a hidden gem, with the given instructions however it was no problem finding it. The communication was perfect , the mother welcoming us in fluent English was super. Everything was as described, breakfast on the terrace surrounded by the flowers and plants was marvellous, the bed is really comfortable and Amfissa a beautiful, cozy little town, too bad we only stayed one night! Definitely recommending the apartment and Amfissa for a trip, if you don't feel like staying in busy Delphi (a 20 min car ride away).

Zhana is absolutely the best! She made sure we were well taken of well before we even arrived in Athens. Her attention to detail wasuch appreciated. Extremely accomodating even after we were delayed over 7 hours. The AirBNB was perfect for what we needed for an overnight stay. The view from the rooftop was phemomemal! Would love to come back and stay here again.

Nikos place is in a great location for exploring the Peloponnese. His property is exactly like the listing beautifully presented with all the amenities you could wish for. Nicos is a great host nothing is too much trouble he is polite helpful and always answers quickly. We will return in the future.

We loved staying at Athina’s place in Athens. She was exceptionally responsive and provided us with many great recommendations. The Airbnb was in a great location and we walked everywhere, it was also so easy to get to and from the airport and we didn’t use a taxi once. The place was lovely, it was roomy, clean and welcoming and had a great aircon which was great to return back to after a long day of walking in the hot summer in Athens. We would definitely recommend!
