Welcome to enjoy Finnish cottage life in peace and quiet. The cottage is situated on its own peninsula on the shores of Lake Keitele. There are no neighbors nearby, so here you can enjoy peace and quiet surrounded by nature. A long private shoreline, a sandy, child-friendly beach, a wood-fired sauna, and a lake view make this a particularly good place to get away from everyday life. Morning coffee on the deck, a day on the lake, and in the evening, a sauna and a swim – those are the most important things about a cottage vacation.

Come and enjoy the peaceful environment on the shores of Lake Jäppäjärvi in the atmosphere of a log cabin. Downstairs you will find a spacious living room with lake views. The cabin has its own beach and boat. With the rowboat, you can go fishing or row around Pyöreäsaari. In the cabin you will find life jackets for four people. In addition, tenants have access to 2 kayaks with accessories for free. From the cottage, it is about 15 kilometers to the Koirasalmi, from where the hiking trails of Salamajärvi National Park start.

Two double beds and two single beds. The cottage has a sauna heated by trees, there is a lot in connection with the lakeside sauna. A lot is included in the weekly rental price, on weekends for an additional price. A well-stocked kitchen with a dishwasher, a summer kitchen has a fireplace, a wood stove, and a gas burner for the wall bottom pan.

Note: Hot tub is included in the price! The villa is located on the beach of Patalahden in Himos, in the cottage area of Nuppulanranta. The villa has its own beach. Thanks to its central location, you can get from the quiet Patalahden in a few minutes to skiing in winter, golfing in summer, or even to events at Himos Arena. The villa has two floors - 110m2 downstairs and 40m2 on the loft. Himos Villa Nuppula is ideal for families, groups of friends, bachelor parties or even for organizing corporate events

Fairy tales on the forest lake

A typical Finnish cottage (55.8 sq.m) was built in 1972 and completely renovated in 2014, preserving the authentic atmosphere. The nearest shop or gas station is 25 kilometers away. We live behind the forest 200 meters from the cottage all year round. The location of the cottage is unique in that, on the one hand, you feel complete freedom and privacy, on the other hand, we are always around and ready to help and communicate if you wish. Our plot and garden are always open to our guests.

This log sauna cabin with modern facilities is located in the upper yard in your own peace. The nature of Muuratsalo and the lake Päijänne offer wonderful hiking opportunities all year round! Good transport connections. 2-4 km to Säynätsalo's services and Alvar Aalto's destinations, 0.3 km to the bus stop.
