Sauna cottage by the lake on the beach

A small and atmospheric sauna cottage on the shore of a clear-watered lake offers a wonderful escape from everyday life. The property has a sandy beach and a swimming dock. You also have access to a sauna, a rowing boat and an outdoor terrace for cooking and dining. The sauna room has a fireplace and you can stay overnight even in cooler weather. There is room for four guests, as there are two places to stay in the sauna loft and a sofa bed that can be spread down. An outdoor toilet can be found behind the sauna room.

Hirsimökki Hietanen

Hietanen is a summer log building that moved to the Hietasalme, a peninsula between two lakes in the 70s. At the tip of the peninsula is a sandy beach. The wooded areas around the plot belong to the Vehkala Farm. The terrain is a rolling, small-colored moraine that turns into rock or wetter presses in places. There are all types of forest nearby. There is no real swamp in the area. A boat route runs through the strait from Lake Vesanto in the direction of Rautalampi. The water body is especially good for kayaking.

Pihakammari (winter habitable)

Pihakammari is located in the vicinity of Alvar Aalto's home; Aalto's experimental house and Säynätsalo municipal hall are 2-3 km away, Muurame church 7 km from the accommodation. The experimental house can be seen along the ice route. The accommodation has a kitchen equipped with dishes, a coffee and kettle and a microwave, as well as a refrigerator. Breakfast supplies are for you, go ahead. Traditional Finnish yard sauna for rent in the summer, with swimming in the lake. There's no wifi in the chamber.

Saharanta sauna cottage

Saharanta sauna cottage welcomes you to the countryside of beautiful Central Finland! Our sauna cottage is a pleasant little cabin by the lake Keitele in Konginkangas. It has one main room with a dining table, fridge, a microwave, an electricity stove and a kettle. The sleeping room upstairs is open space with the main room. Our 5-member family (and a friendly dog and 2 cats) is living in the mainhouse at the same garden. Your private toilet and shower are located in the main house.

Sunset lakefront old-growth forest guesthouse

This newly-built guesthouse with comfortable amenities is located in a the middle of old-growth forests, with a private bay and a calm lake with sunset view. It is a place “to adopt the pace of nature”, with the sound and sight of forest’s floral and fauna. During your stay, you can enjoy sauna with scent of solid wood, dipping in the lake, fishing, SUP boarding, rowing boat, picking berries and mushrooms. Relaxing in hot tub/palju in this landscape is truly a unique experience.

Accommodation with private entrance for two people. Morning coffee on the sunny terrace directly from the bedroom. The location is a beautiful and peaceful rural landscape. Close to good transportation. Located near a major highway. Free parking and a large yard, so you can easily come with a larger car. Good bus routes. About 20 minutes from the center of Jyväskylä. The bus stop is a couple of minutes away from the accommodation. Jyväs Linkki route 22. Good outdoor terrain.

Guest house with its own beach

Vierasmaja on upealla paikalla Päijänteen rannalla. Käytössäsi on viihtyisä huone isolla, katetulla terassilla, oma yksityinen uimapaikka, grilli, suihku ja wc. Mahdollisuus vuokrata kaunista rantasaunaa. Hienot maisemat isolle selälle. Talvella ladut jäälle lähtevät pihasta ja rannassa on avanto. Lähistöllä luontopolkuja, Himos, Saunakylä, Petäjäveden vanha kirkko, Aalto-museo. Lyhyt matka päätielle ja bussipysäkille, julkisillakin pääsee.

A classy place by the house. Inside you have compact area with a sofa/bed (3x3m). On the big patio you can grill. You can use the sauna and jacuzzi whenever you wish. Direct path leads you to the shore. With a fireplace by the lake you may enjoy a magical night. Located well and surrounded by multiple services. Small charming cottage for overnight stay

Stay cheap, but cozy, along your trip. The cottage is located near Route 4 and you can drive to the yard, next to the cabin. The yard is uniquely mentioned, and the cottage has originally been an ancient smoke sauna designed and implemented by graphic designer Laura Matikainen from Belgium. The toilet is an old outdoor shower. The cottage has a refrigerator and hot plate, but no dishes.
