excellent location and great host. I think the some of the comments are not fair for this location. the location is unbeatable. 5 min to any major destination. a lot of great shops and restaurants around to visit. Comments about the noise, I sleep very light so i wake up very easy. I stayed there 5 days and did not have any noise issue. Yes the shower is small. But i did not feel any issue with that.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Ali’s place. It was very convenient to use both apartments and it felt like being together at home. The location is excellent, just around the corner of Istiklal street, a few minutes away from the famous Galata tower, its a great strategic location for a few nice neighbourhoods as well. The view from the roof top appartement is beautiful. Except for Saturday night it was very quiet. Overall it was a great stay.

I had an unforgettable stay in the heart of Cihangir, in a peaceful and elegant location. This place is not just an accommodation but truly feels like a second home in Istanbul. Every detail has been meticulously considered: a spacious and comfortable living area, the pleasure of a home cinema experience on a large screen, a bright and quiet neighborhood… Even the bed, pillows, and dryer have been carefully chosen with comfort in mind. For those working remotely, this place is also an excellent choice! There is a dedicated workspace where you can comfortably take care of your business. Sara, made this experience even more special. With her warm hospitality, excellent recommendations about the city, and attention to every detail from check-in to even sharing the local grocery store’s number, she truly made me feel at home. If you are looking for a comfortable, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed home in Istanbul, this is definitely the right place! I will definitely be back!

Eine schöne sehr zentral gelegene Wohnung mit Meerblick von der Terrasse aus. Nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß entfernt von Hagia Sofia und Sultanahmet Moscheen. Die Wohnung grenzt an die alte historische Stadtmauer und byzantinischen Palast der 1600 Jahre alt ist. Die Kommunikation mit Ali verlief einwandfrei. Wir hatten alles in der Wohnung was wir brauchten. Wichtig zu wissen, dass die Zimmern nicht groß sind und keine Türen haben, was wahrscheinlich einfach typisch ist. Zudem ist die Wohnung etwas hellhörig und in der Nähe verlaufen die Zugschienen. Uns hat das alles aber nicht wirklich gestört. Wir würden die Wohnung wieder mieten und weiter empfehlen. Things to be aware of: it is up a flight of stairs and it is in the middle of a vibrant and hilly neighborhood so if you have mobility issues or you looking for a quiet spot, this is probably not for you. This is an excellent location surrounded by a lot of cute and unique shops and good food (Check out Guney Restaurant). The selection is very similar to what you get at the grand bazaar and the prices are better. The apartment itself is very cute. There are 3 sperate nice bedrooms (one with a sitting area and one with a balcony), a kitchen, and a sitting area/dining area. There is also one full bath, one half bath, and one shower/sink room, which is very convenient if you're going with a group. Also, the host was incredibly responsive to our needs and even let us check in early. The architecture and aesthetic of the building/apartment is also very unique and interesting. I would definitely stay here again.

Das Zimmer war perfekt für uns. Wir konnten es vom Flughafen aus sehr einfach mit der U-Bahn erreichen, da es mitten im Zentrum liegt und dennoch ruhig ist. Die Ausstattung ist komfortabel und das Bad sehr sauber. Der kleine Buchladen im Erdgeschoß hat etwas magisch uriges und passt ins Stadtgefühl. Am meisten haben wir uns aber in die wunderschöne, liebevolle Katze verliebt. Sie wachte geheimnisvoll über den Laden und kam abends immer leise miauend vor unsere Tür und fragte um Einlass. Was für ein zauberhaftes Wesen. Wir kommen schon allein der Katze wegen sicher noch einmal wieder. Das habe ich ihr bei der Abreise versprochen. 😂 😍 Absolute Herzensempfehlung - Danke auch für die freundliche und unkomplizierte Konversation.

I contemplated to book because we came as a family 2 adults +1 teen & a kid so size is somewhat matter. Turned out I made a perfect choice ❤️. Yes, it doesn't have a living room, but the main room is properly sized and super comfy (not to mention the beautiful chandelier!). Location wise is the best to explore Galata area, Taksim, old city, all within walking distance (w/ so much to see & eat haha). I recommend Adiguzel 1 minute walk, owned by a very kind gentleman. They serves delicious turkish dishes. Weather was wet & cold during our stay, coming home after a cold day outside was such a relief. I can see that Zeynep put so much effort when renovating the unit. Full marble bathroom with natural olive based soap & shampoo. Pristine clean kitchen w/ every basic thing needed for the stay. There's a beautiful terrace on the 4th fl overlooking Golden Horn & old city. We arrived early in the morning. She let us check in early with no add cost. Thx so much! Highly recommend!

The place is right in the middle of Şişli and so many restaurants to walk to. Gokan was absolutely amazing with recommendations and local knowledge. Even while I was out and needed help he would help me get to where I was going or recommend easier ways to get there, or better places.

Amazing experience. clean apartment. views of Bosphorous, Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque. 100 meters from Galata Tower on same level ground. Friendly host. well furnished kitchen. 3 bedroom can accommodate 6 easily. decent size TV lounge. separate dinning room with 6 chairs next to kitchen. 10 min walk to tram station T1 line Karakoy stop. 10 minutes to metro train line Sishane stop. Would love to stay again whenever visited. having said all above, few things to remember for travellers. Apartment is on 3rd floor, 60 steps and no lift. Apartment is next to Galata and whole area is a hill. 10 min walk to tran stop is downhill with stone paved street. easy to go down but could be challenging if you are exhausted on the way back or travelling with prams, little kids or elderly. There is no option to drop off luggage early or leave at premises after check out. Owner suggests leaving luggage at nearby coffee shop after eating from there. we left our luggage at the entrance lobby at our risk.

Very good studio in a good location, everything is sparkling clean and brand new. The place had just been renovated a month ago. Internet was very stable aswell. Host is very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!

Great place with good wifi for working. The adjacent bakery can make early morning sounds that can be disruptive. Good location close to services.

I loved the neighborhood very local close to many attractions! pleasant stay. Remind its a wood house so you have some noises but nothing too bad. I loved there's Netflix and it's so pleasant to be chilling like at home!

We had a great time in özlems place she was very kind and helpful everything was nearby specially the shop we could buy water only ten meters from the house highly recommend you özlems place.

Eine sehr schöne ,große und toll ausgestattete Wohnung .Man fühlt sich gleich wie zu Hause .Die Lage ist perfekt - der Hafen von Kadiköy ist quasi vor der Tür und in der Nähe sind so viele Cafés und Restaurants. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war sehr angenehm ,schnell und freundlich. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt. Alles in einem eine klare Weiterempfehlung für einen Istanbul Besuch.

Great place for a solo traveler or duo as well as an extended stay! Spent one month here and felt right at home with everything I needed. 10-15 minute walk to Taksim Square, Istiklal Street. Lots of grocery places nearby. Pretty quiet despite being close to such a busy area! The host was super kind and helpful.

Celal's apartment was very clean with all basic amenities and services. They offered us to and fro cab service for airport. They were present to receive us. also helped us carry our bags to the apartment and also while leaving the apartment. They were responsive and brought us another lighter for the stove when asked for. They also treated us with Turkish delights and a nice souvenir. They were very friendly and showed affection to our 8 months old baby. The apartment's location is also good and tram/bus stops are nearby. Just keep in mind that Istanbul is a bit hilly so walking uphill for the tram stop with a baby can be tricky. Overall a very good experience. P.S. The location which is shown in the app and the actual location of the apartment is a bit different, although they escort you to the actual location themselves. But in the description of this listing they don't mention that the apartment is on the 4th floor with no lift. So, people with baby or old age can have problem.

Pinars apartment is located in the old town within walking distance of the main attractions like the Grand Bazaar and the palace. There is a convenient shop over the road that sells some essential groceries and Pinars restaurants is a few doors up and the food was amazing and staff were incredibly friendly. The apartment is on the 5th floor. The stairwell can be dark and is not attractive but the apartment itself is spacious, clean and bright. There is a view of the sea from the living room window. There was plenty of hot water for the jacuzzi bath and shower. We had cold weather and the apartment was always nice and warm. We would definitely recommend Pinars apartment for your stay in Istanbul.

it was a wonderful trip! the best accommodation in the best location! the terrace had a view of the sea, a 5-minute walk to a large shopping center. There is a wonderful cafe with breakfasts nearby. the apartment was warm, comfortable, quiet. the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were large, appliances and dishes - everything you need for a comfortable stay. 300 meters away - Migros and other stores. Simay was a very attentive and kind hostess, she gave us advice, quickly responded to requests, and really helped us out when we forgot our keys) we really want to return to this wonderful house again!

Wir waren für eine Woche Gäste in dieser außergewöhnlichen Wohnung und haben uns dort sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist zentral in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Galata Turm und bietet fantastische Ausblicke über die Stadt, sowohl tagsüber als auch Nachts. Ein großes Danke an Neriman für die Taxi Arrangements bei unserer An- und Abreise, sowie die Restauranttipps! Wichtig zu wissen: die Wohnung befindet sich im 5. Stock eines historischen Hauses. Es gibt dort keinen Aufzug, was für uns kein Problem war. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

It was a nicely put up space that worked well for us. Felt like home away from home. Very convenient as there were stores to get our basic grocery as well well coffee shops around. The Galata Tower and tram station are also at a walkable distance. The only drawback for us was that one of the WC doors wouldn't latch up and one of the bedrooms did not have a latch from inside but would close only from the outside. These are suggestions so that the owner could take notice and take this immaculate and homely space a notch higher. Overall, we loved the small details and rustic charm of the place. I highly recommend staying at Ugur’s place. From the time we booked, till the end of the stay Ugur was super responsive and helpful. The views are just drop dead gorgeous (floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Bosphorus). The neighborhood feels like you are living and staying like a local and has modern furnishings. Wifi is excellent. You have to be ready to handle stairs but if in reasonably good shape, they are not a problem. Just avoid if uneven stairs are an issue but Istanbul is hilly and any local neighborhood would mean stairs. The best thing is Ugur’s responsiveness: we needed coffee pods, a tap fixed, airport transfer: all was organized in a minute… and shout out to Mohamed who so kindly helped with luggage and many things!
