Beautiful home and very clean!! Fully stocked kitchen, nice linens and beds. Convenient to all attractions and Abigail is very accommodating and kind! Horses came to greet us most times in early morning and evenings which was a nice treat. Also can see the Amish horse and buggies from the house. This awesome home is located on a main highway so if a light sleeper make sure to bring a sound machine or fan. We did fine and would book with Abigail again!

This house is in a quiet neighborhood, and accomodated our family very well while we were visiting the area. The house is older, but everything was clean and tidy!

This was an amazing getaway, the house was very clean and nicely decorated. We loved the heated pool, especially for how cold the weather has been. The deck that wraps around the house is beautiful as well. The hosts were very responsive and kind. We would definitely love to come back, thanks for a great stay!

It was a great stay after a long day roaming around Washington DC and Maryland. The accommodation was clean and nicely decorated with very inspiring words of wisdom providing a cozy and comfortable retreat throughout our stay. Kelly has been very informative and detailed on the instructions to help us on a very smooth check in and check out process. The location was fantastic and quiet neighborhood. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable Airbnb experience!"

As we opened the door, there was that great, welcoming smell. The place was very clean, beds well made, ready for us. Our host even had snacks for us which were welcoming since we had a 3-hr trip to get there. We definitely recommend this place to a big family!

We had a nice stay at Caryle’s house. It was a nice location to explore Longwood gardens, Wintertur, and Philadelphia. Neighborhood was quiet. The house was nice and clean and we felt right at home. Caryle was very responsive and proactive.

Excellent stay. Easy access to our destinations: Winterthur, Brandywine Museum of Art, and great restaurants for lunches and dinners. Lovely and very clean home, very comfortable. Lovely enclosed sunroom in back of house.

We had a great weekend! The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, making check-in and communication smooth from start to finish. The house itself was well-stocked, clean, and thoughtfully organized—perfect for relaxing with a small family group. We especially enjoyed winding down in the cozy living room and falling asleep to a movie after a fun day out. Would absolutely stay here again!

The space looked exactly like the photos—if not even better in person. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and perfect for a relaxing stay. Our kids felt right at home and had plenty of space to play and unwind, which made the trip even more enjoyable for all of us. It was truly a family-friendly space that met all of our needs. Communication with the hosts was seamless—they were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town, and we highly recommend this gem to anyone, especially families, looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway!

This house was perfect for our annual girls weekend! Gorgeous decor that looks brand new. Spotless kitchen equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals (even a crock pot). Plentiful dishes, glasses, and pots and pans. Furniture and bedding was so comfy and the porch was our favorite place. Peaceful and quiet - even woke up to a bald eagle sitting on a branch outside my bedroom window. We traveled 30 min to the Farmers market in Chestertown on Saturday and had great Indian food in Middletown. We all agreed we would come again.

We had such a great time during our stay here. The host was extremely responsive and generous, she had the house very well stocked. We had no complaints! The location is perfect, and in walking or short driving distance of everything. The host gave great recommendations of places to go and things to do.

The house is very charming, with lots of space for 8 people, comfortable beds and a wonderful location within walking distance to every thing in South Chesapeake City (even a playground for my two grand sons). The kitchen is beautiful with two ovens and one could potentially cook a full meal if the kitchen had a few more items in it. There were plenty of great places to go out for dinner so this was no real issue for us. I shared with Rosie and Chris some suggestions for making the kitchen a bit more accommodating for short stays. I am sure they will look into it, as they were very responsive to another issue we had and appreciated other suggestions we had. This responsiveness is one of the many reasons they are rated as excellent hosts. They are extremely friendly, communicate well and really succeed at making the experience of staying in a historical house as pleasant as possible for their guests. They want it to be a home away from home - and it certainly was for us.

Nice big house. We hosted our Thanksgiving here and it was perfect for kids and family.

A quiet oasis with plenty of space to relax. Always a treat to stay here!

The house has been nicely updated with new bathrooms and kitchen. Al linens and towels are new, and everything was very clean when we checked in. We were very comfortable in the home and the location worked great for our trip to a family event. We will definitely use the home again if the need arises. The property gives easy access to Fair Hill Nature Resource Area and all of the great trails there for a relaxing walk, or early morning run.

Lovely! Just as described, plus allllll the things you’d need for young kids. Toys, games, stuffies, toddler table, utensils, etc. Bunk room is adorable. Front porch is wonderful. 6 min walk to beach is easy and lovely, even when chilly— the girls loved to play in the cold sand. Already booked again for fall!

Brian’s place was beyond our expectations - absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and spacious enough for all of us! Brian was gracious in allowing us to have our son’s rehearsal dinner in his home, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful evening! Priceless! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very well stocked and the children had a great time exploring the outdoors. Thank you Brian!

Everything was absolute perfection! We LOVED staying here. We have family in town and will always choose to stay here in the future! Hosts, location, price and quality were all above and beyond!

Once again the River house is a well appointed comfortable stay! The swimming pool is a gem! The house is bright and well located; very clean. There is great and comfortable furniture. The views are beautiful and the location is wonderful. We will be back next year!

We had a great time at Estelle’s Airbnb. The location was very close to everything in Chesapeake City. Estelle was great to communicate with and was very generous to let us check in early. Do not hesitate to stay here is you are looking to stay in town

The place was amazing! I came down for an event and was sorry to have to leave the beautiful cozy house to attend it. I wished I could have sat enjoying the view the whole time I was there. It was also such a treat to park the car when I arrived and have everywhere I wanted to go within walking distance. I look forward to being able to return some day.
