Family-friendly vacation rentals in Cecil County

Bill and Sandi treated me as if I were family! But... they failed to mention how BEAUTIFUL their neighborhood is! There are 3 gorgeous horses across the way, friendly cats, and even turkeys!! I was welcome to use the hot tub anytime I wanted and they even got me a bottle of wine. I'm definitely returning soon. xxx

It's a perfectly lovely cottage, as seen in the photos. One big happy room with a comfy bed. We stayed for a weekend, and drove to Philly a couple times (40 minutes?), which was close enough. We also hiked a bit. You can walk right out of the house, right down the road, right into the nearby state park, and right into the adjacent arboretum. Which is altogether pretty cool. Could it possibly be better? Yes, the one drawback is that you're staying in someone's yard. But the house is pretty far back, and we did not meet our hosts, or anything like that. That is to say it felt very private. In short, it was absolutely 100% worth the price.

Wonderful place to just get away and quiet your worries. Great meditation with the winds in the trees and the sounds of the birds. The jacuzzi was wonderful! Well heated, 3 stations: one to laydown and get the shoulders and back the other 2 sit you in a cradle-like chair one for the neck the other lower back. It fits 6 comfortably. It was alittle rainy but it wasnt so bad that we couldn't keep our fire going all night. Both the grill and stove were used to cook and the dishwasher was nice for quick cleanup. Just had to rinse the dishes and put them through. The shower is ada compliant but made it kind of small for bigger people to stand comfortably, great if you like sitting down while showering. The bed was comfortable and loved the globe nightlite. The layout of the overall place made our stay just feel like we were at home. Thank you so much Kara!

My extended family had a wonderful time at the farmhouse. All the rooms were clean, airy and cozily decorated. The kitchen was great for cooking as well as having large meals together. We used the huge porch morning, noon and night and the back pool was clean and a relaxing space to hang out. The location is near many small towns with good restaurants, and shops with all the basic necessities are also close by. Farmer Pierre was quick to respond to any questions. We also enjoyed having small interactions with the farm animals, especially the pygmy goats. There was plenty of parking space as well. All the amenities were as promised and we all just had a wonderfully relaxing time.

Great location right across from Patterson Park. Brandon’s place was a prefect location from which we explored Canton and Felts Point. Comfy beds and lots of nice touches like having the light switches labeled, a magnifying mirror in the bath room and a guidebook. Great stay!

Simply can't and magical place. I can't tell you how beautiful this entire place was. I truly wish he would sell me the house and animals. I would soooooo buy it. A must come and do

It was the perfect waterfront house. It met all the needs for my family. Lots of space to spread out in and hangout in. The location is wonderful. We had perfect weather and amazing sunsets. We spent most of our time around the pool or sitting on the deck by the water. No issues with mosquitoes or other bugs. It was helpful that every bedroom had bathroom. Gretchen was a helpful and very responsive host! We can’t wait to go back next year!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful place. Our extended family and dogs thoroughly enjoyed the private and peaceful location. Bobs place was provisioned very well. We appreciated the numerous coffee cups, wine glasses, etc. it felt very much like staying with family. Lovely art throughout too.

Great stay over the holidays. The cabin is as described. A bit rustic but quaint, comfortable, and well appointed. We will likely be back when visiting family in the area.

Awesome place close to where I work will stay again

Very unique, peaceful and fun place to stay. We had fun looking at the horses and alpacas on the property. Short walks or long hikes are available right on the property. Peter met us in person to make sure we were able to get in and gave us verbal as well as written instructions about the property. I highly recommend.

Rafi was a very friendly and helpful host. We had a great time in this quiet neighborhood.

The house was comfortable, clean and quiet. It was exactly what I was looking for to participate in a nearby competition. There were minor issues that the host addressed quickly and we got back to our vacation. Would stay here again.

Place was as described. Spacious with everything we needed. Parking spot was tight for someone with a larger suv but overall it was good to have a spot right outside the door

Esthers place was everything that was described & more!! Having children there was awesome with all the activities that kept them occupied. It was very peaceful and well stocked. Will definitely stay again!! 😊

We loved our stay at Molly's air B &B. there were lots of toys to use on the river. The water views from the house were fantastic. The house was clean and comfortable. We loved taking a dip in the pool. Great communication with the host.

This was one of the best spots we’ve stayed at! We were in Baltimore to film a music video and it was so home to come back to after filming and just relax! Shower was amazing and beds were super comfortable!

One of the best shower heads I have ever had the pleasure to use. Took a ton of will power to not stay in the shower the whole stay. It appears that Ruthie and her family live in the house when guests are not staying. That did not bother me and my guest, but something to note. Really close to a Casino if that is what you are looking for. Less than a 5 min walk.

What a beautiful property! The views are stunning and it is so very peaceful. We had everything we needed and then some. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Also if you are an early riser you might catch a glimpse of the fox making his morning routine across the property 😊

Kimberly’s place was a home away from home.. walkable, peaceful, clean environment just like we wanted! We had no issues finding parking right outside the place everyday . Everything we needed was there. She was very responsive. All about Kimberly’s place was just perfect! We had a flawless one month .. surely coming back Kimberly!!

The Host the best of the best. Very attentive and very helpful when you need anything. This is the best place I have stayed. The entrance is very safe and easy. The cleanliness in the room and bathroom and the towels are very clean. The calm and peace on another level. I can say that I recommend this place as a 5 star suite and 100% sure
