Vacation rentals with a kayak in Cayuga County

Loved the cabin. It had everything we needed and then some. We really enjoyed that it was walking distance to town and right next to Fair Haven State park. Definitely recommend!

We loved this warm and cozy home and felt right at home. The decor is beautiful and it has all the comfort one could ask for. We enjoyed using the funicular to go down to the lake. Very safe and convenient! Pauley was super responsive and friendly and would love to come back in future.

The house is small and cozy, perfect for a couple. We loved it. The sunrise looking out the living room windows is phenomenal. The views of the lake are great. Non-stop fish jumping in the lake. Fishing from the dock was good. Caught a bass by the dock.

What a special place! Contemporary and well decorated, this home checked all the boxes for us. We enjoyed the hot tub, s’mores at the fire pit and had a BBQ. The bathrooms are clean and beautifully designed. The hosts also left a cute goody bag for us! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great place to stay for a small group of people/ family. Clean and accurate description. Would love to stay here again. Keep in mind, many steps. Steps to the basement, as described, were a bit rough to get down for some of our older group. They used the outside steps to come to the main level. Beautiful views and super easy to dock the boat. I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house! The views all around the property were absolutely stunning, creating such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I was on a work trip with several coworkers, and the house was incredibly comfortable and huge—it truly felt like home. The space was clean, safe, and well-maintained, making it the perfect retreat after long workdays. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to prepare a large family meal, which was a huge plus. Most importantly, our host, Abby, was amazing—she was incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a serene and welcoming getaway. Thank you, Abby, for such a great experience!

We had a wonderful stay, even with some cloudy and rainy weather! Our kids (ages 10 and 6) loved all of the provided things to do at the water - especially the floating dock, paddle boards and fishing poles. They also loved the loft room! The house was extremely clean and well stocked! We loved the view from the screened in porch, and had coffee out there every morning. Firepit, provided firewood and chairs at the shore was perfect. Beautiful sunset views from the dock! We also enjoyed dinner out in Skaneateles (about 25 min drive) at Hidden Fish (sushi) and Gilda’s (small plates), both great! Beautiful spot at the lake for a couple or small family!

We highly enjoying our stay at Samantha’s cottage. It was a beautiful weekend getaway and the fall foliage made it even better!! The kitchen was extremely clean, and had everything we needed to cook meals during our stay. We weren’t there long enough to use the washer and dryer but I was grateful to have it if needed. The house has lots of natural sunlight, and the covered porch was great when it rained or when we didn’t want to make the walk down to the lake.

Lisa’s cottage by the river is an amazing getaway for anyone who’s looking for peaceful surroundings! This wasn’t our first stay, and we always look forward to fishing, kayaking, and birdwatching. Thanks Lisa again for a great MDW stay!

This rental was super cute and comfortable right on the water. We had a girls weekend and had everything we needed at Courtney's place. The cottage overlooks the water and it is a beautifully clear lake. Beds were very comfortable and everything was neat and clean. There are a few set of stairs to get down to the cottage along with stairs to access the downstairs living quarters/bedroom so just be aware of that. We saw Eagles over the water and heard owls at night...very peaceful and private. Tons to do in the town of Skaneateles as well and lots of great restaurants. We would certainly recommend this rental to anyone and are looking forward to coming back!

This stay was a unique in that I plan to build a similar home as this one and I needed the opportunity to see what it would be like. Sally was super helpful not only with the Airbnb, but also with the home itself. Everything was super clean, well organized, no weird smells, and so well equipped. Sally has incredible taste. You will not be disappointed. Plus as a super host she’s so responsive and flexible. Such a great stay!

This was the third year staying at Erica’s, and each time has been great. After a morning of fishing it is nice to return and relax on the waterfront. The house has plenty of room for 3 couples. The house is very comfortable, everything was ready for us when we arrived. Erica reached out to make sure we had everything we needed and that our stay was going well. Great Host and a great house

We had a great time here. Beautiful location. Sonia is responsive and accommodating. Great spot for the summer with lots of games and water toys in the shed.

John is the perfect host, I felt like a V-VIP. He made sure I was comfortable and was over and above helpful with every last detail. He has bikes for guests to get around on and would graciously pick me up when I got stuck down hill. He helped me with fires to enjoy the starry night sky, and escorted me to the cabin when I got back late after a wedding party. The cabin is delightful and serene, on the edge of his property looking into bright green trees. He’s got it set up for barbecues and has even put out sticks for marshmallow roasting. A cute outdoor shower, and an eco-toilet cabin behind the room. I enjoyed swimming in the lake, doing hikes at the National reserve & on the property, watching the cows on the pasture, star gazing, & trying out the local eatery spots. I highly recommend this elevated glamping experience with a host that will do anything in his power to make sure you’re happy.

Nick and his home were just what my heart needed at this time of my life so peaceful and welcoming .To sit and drink my tea in the morning with a book was amazing with the wonderful sounds of nature and beauty around me .

Cozy and quaint cabin, literally feet off the lake. Perfect for my husband and I to escape to for a few days to relax and reconnect. Nancy was great, very informative, and flexible to our needs. A great get away spot for couple!

Heather’s s place has great views and a very peaceful atmosphere. A great place to relax after exploring the surrounding areas. We enjoyed a day hanging out close by and had a nice time on the lake in the kayaks provided. The screened in area was a great place to relax and enjoy the wildlife. We really enjoyed our time here! Heather and David were very accommodating hosts.

We had a great stay. Nice location right on the water. Water views from most windows. Good location for exploring the Finger Lakes region. As noted in listing, this house has only one sink (located in kitchen), but this was not a problem for us. We would definitely stay here again.
