Estrella del mar is a wonderfully unique urban accommodation located on a little beach in the punta gorda area of Santiago de cuba. Close to the airport, close to the city. The grounds, the beach front gazebo, the beds all top notch. Meals were amongst the best I’ve ever had in cuba.

Great experience at David's! Both he and his mother were excellent hosts, they welcomed me earlier and extended the check-out until my bus left. I had long and beautiful talks with David, he gave me useful directions to move around the city. Always attentive to my comfort, without being intrusive. Every morning we shared complimentary coffee. The listing description matches the room, in a location close to different points of interest. The bed is very comfortable and, beyond eventual power outages - which do not depend on the host - I felt right at home. Recommended!

Miguel's place was exceptional ly clean and I enjoyed my stay tremendously. Miguel's staff was very caring and would go out of there way to make sure I felt like home. I will definitely recommend Miguel's place to anyone who's visiting Santiago de Cuba.

Wonderfully pleasant host that together with her family and staff took all my worries away! The multi-level patio/garden gives a feeling of the mythical hanging gardens of Eden. And great views from the top room! When I went through Santiago I wanted to stay here another time. Sadly for me they were fully booked, but they helped me find the casa of a friend in the next street that’s just as good.
